Avatar 3D - 6.5/10 I pretty much agree with Cobalt's sentiments. The plot was passable, and by that, I mean that it was able to prevent me from being totally bored during its 160-minute expenditure. Granted, the effects were the only thing that justified stretching the movie out that long. It may be a revolutionary film in some aspects, but I don't think it deserves all the awards it has gotten and will probably continue to get.

Maybe it's my pro-Gitmo bias speaking, but I can't stand it when bands like Coldplay get wrapped up in these political matters. I know they're strong supporters of Amnesty International, but I still don't think this is right. I love Coldplay, and I mean I love Coldplay one hell of a lot, but I'm not going to subscribe to every one of their political whims.
