Holy smokes. :stunned: I've been in a writing mood lately, but July 19th means I would have only a few hours to whip a review up once I wake up from the concert the night before. That said, I doubt I could afford either plane tickets or the days off. I'll likely sit this competition out because of that, but you weren't lying when you said you had something big up your sleeve! We really need to beat the crap out of that Honda Center crowd this time. This is outdoors and we want the entire LA region to hear us. I'm all for starting a chant, but we need all the Coldplayer help we can get. Heck, I've even got several extra red glowsticks (which I really do hope they let me take in) that I can share with the good folks in Section E3 (who, like me and lfdianne, were probably also confused about the GA ticket location and didn't snatch them when they could. :\) 8 days. :)

"In My Place" confirmed for Guitar Hero 5. http://wii.ign.com/articles/100/1002291p1.html As an FYI, there's a full game track list floating around the web that's not yet confirmed, but has been turning out to be true as more tracks are revealed ("In My Place" was listed on it, for example. So was "Plug In Baby", which makes me very excited.)

Same with The Wiltern in LA. That's just over a capacity of 2000. In LA, I'd think they'd at least be able to sell out something like the Greek Theater, which holds close to 6000. Ah well, small venue might mean a more intimate crowd.

Both of those songs are my two main "concerns", since from the sounds of things, they are the most different, so things could go either way. My other top favorites are "See You Soon" and "Things I Don't Understand". If you want 5, I'll add "Crests of Waves" and "The World Turned Upside Down". The X&Y era had some great B-sides, come to think of it. Most of them could have fit on the album just fine.

Definitely on my Top 3 B-sides. :)
