Look, I like Green Day and all, but their latest album was absolutely terrible in my opinion. U2's latest album wasn't great either, but still better than Green Day's. But like I said, I'm not too impressed with many of the nominees this year.

Phoenix just won a Grammy for Best Alternative Album! :D I never posted my pictures of them from last month because the pics turned out awful. :\ Fantastic show, though.

I like KOL, but "Use Somebody" is a painfully average song. Probably won't watch any more of this, so I guess Coldplay will have another shot with LP5. :)

Bah. Kings of Leon won. Coldplay got nothing this year. :(

At least Phoenix won. :\

Oddly enough, I got into a random conversation about Florence + the Machine with somebody at lunch today. I haven't heard more than a few songs, and I think she's pretty decent, if nothing extraordinary. Maybe I should start by watching the vids in this thread...

I was gonna say "He wrote everything", but Crests' response was way better. Pleased with most of the results so far. Note that I deliberately skipped the UK voting since while I liked Muse and Bat for Lashes, I didn't feel any of the nominees deserved the top award, so I'll take a tie happily.
