We should all stop watching the TV..... It's called programming for a very good reason. I've cut down about 50% in the last year....and I actually feel so much better. I waste less time and since TV does put your brain activity into a rhythm comparable to deep sleep - into a highly suggestible sleep like hypnotic state. This provides easy access to the subconscious. When you watch TV, brain activity switches from the left side of your brain (responsible for logical thought and critical analysis) to the right side. This is significant because the right side of the brain does not critically analyze incoming information, instead it uses an emotional response. This means there is little or no analysis of incoming information. Right brain activity causes the body to release chemicals which make it feel good (these are called endorphins, a natural sedative with similar properties to heroin). It is therefore not only possible, but probable, to become physically addicted to TV. This ensures constant daily exposure, a critical factor needed to program the mind. It reduces higher brain activity, promoting activity in lower brain regions. In other words it makes you less intelligent and behave more like an animal!! Your Subconscious thinks TV is real!!!!!

I agree. The media sometimes do MAJOR harm to investigations by revealling leaks. Some leaks are useful as it's in all our best interests - but a lot of the time the media need to show at least some brains. I guess it's the way of "corporate" media today. My advise would be to go with the YPG625 or similar, like Improvisation suggested. If you are going to learn to play the piano and you can afford it, then a keyboard with full size keys, depth and weight is absolutely the best option (apart from the real thing). And also don't get hung up on learning to play all Coldplay songs the way they do. It's fine learning their songs but don't ever let it get in the way of your own natural playing. Being yourself & unique is what it's all about.....for me at least.

At upwards of $4,000 dollars a year in intelligence packages that are sold on their website, IntelCenter has a lucrative financial motive to keep the supply of Al-Qaeda tapes rolling. For the Bush administration and the Neo-Cons, the tapes are routinely delivered on a silver platter at the most politically expedient moments, and a fresh injection on behalf of Bin Laden for the flagging war on terror on the 6th anniversary of 9/11 is precisely what Bush needs to help keep U.S. troops in Iraq until the next election, as Bush is quoted as holding out for in his own recent biography. Madeleine mother named as suspect The mother of missing four-year-old Madeleine McCann has been formally declared a suspect by the Portuguese police, a family spokeswoman has said. An accompanying opinion poll also reveals that nearly two-thirds of people think politicians are using the green issue as an excuse to tax more. The conclusion of a report by the TaxPayer's Alliance watchdog, states that "In many cases, individual green taxes and charges are failing to meet their objectives, are set at a level in excess of that needed to meet the social cost of CO2 emissions, and are causing serious harm to areas of the country and industries least able to cope." The study found that the social cost of Britain’s entire output of CO2 was £11.7 billion in 2005 but in the same year, the total net burden of green taxes and charges was £21.9 billion. Meaning that even two years ago taxes were £10.2 billion in excess of the level agreed to meet the Britain’s CO2 emissions. The Alliance calculates this excess is equivalent to over £400 for each household in Britain. "We need more honesty about the costs of extra green taxes when British taxpayers already pay some of the highest pollution charges in the world," said Matthew Elliott of the TaxPayers' Alliance. The report also reveals that the main “pollution taxes” of fuel duty; vehicle excise duty (road tax); the Climate Change Levy; Air Passenger Duty; the Landfill Tax and the EU Emissions Trading Scheme, each have serious flaws which indicate that the government is less concerned about the environment and more concerned with raking in excessive revenues. In addition a second study by accountants UHY Hacker Young backs up this claim by revealing that the Government gives back in tax breaks just two per cent of the money it collects through environmental taxes. UHY Hacker Young tax partner Roy Maugham said: "It's surprising just how lopsided the Government's approach to green taxes has been over the last ten years. "At the moment it's all stick and very little carrot." If the government were really concerned about climate change then they would be offering incentives not punishments for reducing CO2 emissions in the form of tax breaks. But tax breaks aren't a giant cash bonanza for our exalted guardians of Mother Earth, the loving government, who are going to tax the living hell out of us for our own good and for the very survival of mankind, while lining their own pockets. The Treasury has said the claims in the studies are "ridiculous" and has dropped the green bomb on the TaxPayers Alliance, reminding it that climate change is a justification to do anything. A spokesman said: "In arguing against these taxes, the Taxpayers' Alliance are being doubly dangerous - it would mean cuts to public services, schools and hospitals, as well as higher carbon emissions leading to accelerated climate change." Meanwhile Corin Taylor, research director of the TaxPayers' Alliance, has reminded the government that over vamped green charges, far from being a solution, are a primary cause of cuts in public services. When asked what they thought the primary motivation was for new green taxes, 63 per cent agreed with the statement: “Politicians are not serious about the environment and are using the issue as an excuse to raise more revenue from green taxes.” Only 20 per cent thought that “Politicians are serious about the environment and are bringing in new green taxes to change people’s behaviour to help reduce carbon emissions.” Remember that these studies encompass two year old figures and naturally do not even take into account newly proposed "carbon taxes" which would see a sky rocketing in costs sought by the Treasury. In recent months we have seen proposals in the UK and the US to impose steep new taxes that would raise the cost of burning oil, gas and coal even at a time when the cost of energy is already through the roof. Such calls for a carbon tax on energy have been echoed by globalist groups such as the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberg group whose members are coincidentally made up of many big energy company heads and CEOs who stand to gain from long term hikes in prices to offset an initial drop in demand that a new tax would bring. Yes, calling people who put their feet on train seats "Criminals" is such a inflammatory comment to make. Sure, some people might say "well, she has committed a crime" but using such language today does, no matter how 'correct' people say the term is, cause many people to think in completely the wrong way about such petty crimes. I don't put my feet up on seats when I have mud and grime all over my shoes because that isn't right and people should possibly pay a fine for messing up seats like that - but I have done it without dirty shoes....and I do stop if I realise I'm doing it. I often take off my shoes on trains I then put my feet up. Just let them try and do something about that!!

Most bands I've seen have allowed photos and never have I had someone (head security guy) announce multiple times that anyone taking photos will have their camera taken (which is probably illegal anyway). Once I saw Johnny Greenwood at the festival hall, london, cameras were banned - but it's always like that in that venue. Radiohead, Cornelius, Mew, Tortoise, Coldplay, Deerhoof - to name a few from the past couple years where crowd photos have been 100% allowed. I've even been to see Interpol before where takes photos was fine.....so I was a bit annoyed at the "AT THE REQUEST OF THE BAND ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOS!" rule. Nobody was even being told that or being checked for cameras on the way in. Maybe the band just felt like having no flashes that day - or they had some pro photographers sign a exclusive photo rights deal or something.
