  1. Exactly. The more dead people, the worse the so-called "terrorists" look. And when our governments need a slight back-up to their reasons behind taking over a nation (along with false claims they they have WMD), they just tell us "look how many deaths the terrorists have caused"..... Shamefull.
  2. Texas Farmers Furious Over Superhighway Newsvine | July 21 2006 HILLSBORO, TEXAS — Leroy Walters has survived many a threat on the farm that has been in his family for 120 years — droughts, hailstorms, tornadoes, grasshopper attacks. But now he sees a manmade danger on the horizon: a colossal, 600-mile superhighway that will plow clear across the state of Texas, perhaps cutting through Walters' sorghum and corn fields, obliterating the family's houses and robbing his grandchildren of their land. "I don't think they're going to want to pay a toll to go across this land," he said. "They want to enjoy it free, as Texans should enjoy it." That kind of fear and anger among farmers and other landowners across the Texas countryside could become a political problem for Republican Gov. Rick Perry as he runs for re-election in November. It was Perry who proposed the Trans Texas Corridor in 2002, envisioning a combined toll road and rail system that would whisk traffic along a megahighway stretching from the Oklahoma line to Mexico. The Oklahoma-to-Mexico stretch would be just the first link in a 4,000-mile, $184 billion network. The corridors would be up to a quarter-mile across, consisting of as many as six lanes for cars and four for trucks, plus railroad tracks, oil and gas pipelines, water and other utility lines, and broadband cables. The exact route for the cross-Texas corridor has not yet been drawn up, though it will probably be somewhere within a 10-mile-wide swath running parallel to Interstate 35. Whatever course it takes, it is clear many farmers and property owners will lose their land, though they will be compensated by the state. Construction could begin by 2010. The opposition comes in several forms: Some see it as an assault on private property rights; some object to putting the project in foreign hands (it will be built and operated by a U.S.-Spanish consortium); and some see the project as an affront to open government because part of the contract with Cintra-Zachry is secret. Of Perry's major opponents — Democrat Chris Bell and independents Carole Keeton Strayhorn and Kinky Friedman — Strayhorn has stirred the most fury. At campaign stops she calls the plan the "Trans Texas Catastrophe," a "$184 billion boondoggle" and a "land grab" of historic proportions. She refers to Perry's appointees on the transportation commission as "highway henchmen." She lets loose with Texas-twanged jabs at the contract with the "foreign" Cintra-Zachry. "Texans want the Texas Department of Transportation, not the European Department of Transportation," she says, often to loud applause, whoops and hollers. Cintra-Zachry is paying $7.2 billion to develop the first segment. For that, it will get to operate the road and collect tolls for years to come. It is part of a growing privatization trend in the United States. A week ago, Strayhorn picked up a $6,500 campaign donation and endorsement from the Blackland Coalition, a group of anti-corridor farmers who work the rich black soil of central Texas. Coalition chairman Chris Hammel said Texas needs a new governor who will halt the corridor project, start over and do it right. "One man started it with a pen. One person with a different pen could stop it," he said. Perry's spokesman, Robert Black, dismissed suggestions that the toll road will hurt the governor's re-election campaign. "The governor recognizes the concerns that rural Texans have. Remember, he's from rural Texas," Black said. "But he also believes that you have people out there who are spreading bad information." Supporters say the corridors are needed to handle the expected NAFTA-driven boom in the flow of goods to and from Mexico and handle Texas' growing population. Despite a state attorney general's ruling that the Cintra-Zachry contract be made public, the Perry administration has gone to court to prevent the disclosure of what is says is proprietary information. "We don't know for sure whether this is a concept that we can endorse or not because we have not seen it," complained Mayor Will Lowrance of Hillsboro, a town of 8,200 people 55 miles south of Dallas. "I happen to still believe in the open records law in Texas." Hill County Judge Kenneth Davis, who like Lowrance is a conservative Democrat supporting Strayhorn, agreed with Lowrance and added: "If we're going to build a highway in Texas, let's build it with Texas money, not a foreign company's money." Both local leaders dislike the rural location under consideration for the corridor route because it bypasses Hillsboro.
  3. Hezbollah, Hamas and Israel: Everything You Need To Know ALEXANDER COCKBURN | July 21 2006 As the tv networks give unlimited airtime to Israel’s apologists, the message rolls out that no nation, least of all Israel, can permit bombardment or armed incursion across its borders without retaliation. The guiding rule in this tsunami of drivel is that the viewers should be denied the slightest access to any historical context, or indeed to anything that happened prior to June 28, which was when the capture of an Israeli soldier and the killing of two others by Hamas hit the headlines, followed soon thereafter by an attack by a unit of Hezbollah’s fighters. Memory is supposed to stop in its tracks at June 28, 2006. Let’s go on a brief excursion into pre-history. I’m talking about June 20, 2006, when Israeli aircraft fired at least one missile at a car in an attempted extrajudicial assassination attempt on a road between Jabalya and Gaza City. The missile missed the car. Instead it killed three Palestinian children and wounded 15. Back we go again to June 13, 2006. Israeli aircraft fired missiles at a van in another attempted extrajudicial assassination. The successive barrages killed nine innocent Palestinians. Now we’re really in the dark ages, reaching far, far back to June 9, 2006, when Israel shelled a beach in Beit Lahiya killing 8 civilians and injuring 32. That’s just a brief trip down Memory Lane, and we trip over the bodies of twenty dead and forty-seven wounded, all of them Palestinians, most of them women and children. Israel regrets… But no! Israel doesn’t regret in the least. Most of the time it doesn’t even bother to pretend to regret. It says, “We reserve the right to slaughter Palestinians whenever we want. We reserve the right to assassinate their leaders, crush their homes, steal their water, tear out their olive groves, and when they try to resist we call them terrorists intent on wrecking the ‘peace process’”. Now Israel says it wants to wipe out Hezbollah. It wishes no harm to the people of Lebanon, just so long as they’re not supporters of Hezbollah, or standing anywhere in the neighborhood of a person or a house or a car or a truck or a road or a bus or a field, or a power station or a port that might, in the mind of an Israeli commander or pilot, have something to do with Hezbollah. In any of those eventualities all bets are off. You or your wife or your mother or your baby get fried. Israel regrets… But no! As noted above, it doesn’t regret in the least. Neither does George Bush, nor Condoleezza Rice nor John Bolton who is the moral savage who brings shame on his country each day that he sits as America’s ambassador (unconfirmed) at the UN and who has just told the world that a dead Israel civilian is worth a whole more in terms of moral outrage than a Lebanese one. None of them regrets. They say Hezbollah is a cancer in the body of Lebanon. Sometimes, to kill the cancer, you end up killing the body. Or bodies. Bodies of babies. Lots of them. Go to the website fromisraeltolebanon.info and take a look. Then sign the petition on the site calling on the governments of the world to stop this barbarity. You can say that Israel brought Hezbollah into the world. You can prove it too, though this too involves another frightening excursion into history. This time we have to go far, almost unimaginably far, back into history. Back to 1982, before the dinosaurs, before CNN, before Fox TV, before O’Reilly and Limbaugh. But not before the neo-cons who at that time had already crawled from the primal slime and were doing exactly what they are doing now: advising an American president to give Israel the green light to “solve its security problems” by destroying Lebanon. In 1982 Israel had a problem. Yasir Arafat, headquartered in Beirut, was making ready to announce that the PLO was prepared to sit down with Israel and embark on peaceful, good faith negotiations towards a two-state solution. Israel didn’t want a two-state solution, which meant -- if UN resolutions were to be taken seriously -- a Palestinian state right next door, with water, and contiguous territory. So Israel decided chase the PLO right out of Lebanon. It announced that the Palestinian fighters had broken the year-long cease-fire by lobbing some shells into northern Israel. Palestinians had done nothing of the sort. I remember this very well, because Brian Urquhart, at that time assistant secretary general of the United Nations, in charge of UN observers on Israel’s northern border, invited me to his office on the 38th floor of the UN hq in mid-Manhattan and showed me all the current reports from the zone. For over a year there’d been no shelling from north of the border. Israel was lying. With or without a pretext Israel wanted to invade Lebanon. So it did, and rolled up to Beirut. It shelled Lebanese towns and villages and bombed them from the air. Sharon’s forces killed maybe 20,000 people, and let Lebanese Christians slaughter hundreds of Palestinian refugees in the camps of Sabra and Chatilla. The killing got so bad that even Ronald Reagan awoke from his slumbers and called Tel Aviv to tell Israel to stop. Sharon gave the White House the finger by bombing Beirut at the precise times -- 2.42 and 3.38 -- of two UN resolutions calling for a peaceful settlement on the matter of Palestine. When the dust settled over the rubble, Israel bunkered down several miles inside Lebanese sovereign territory, which it illegally occupied, in defiance of all UN resolutions, for years, supervising a brutal local militia and running its own version of Abu Graibh, the torture center at the prison of Al-Khiam. Occupy a country, torture its citizens and in the end you face resistance. In Israel’s case it was Hezbollah, and in the end Hezbollah ran Israel out of Lebanon, which is why a lot of Lebanese regard Hezbollah not as terrorists but as courageous liberators. The years roll by and Israel does its successful best to destroy all possibility of a viable two-state solution. It builds illegal settlements. It chops up Palestine with Jews-only roads. It collars all the water. It cordons off Jerusalem. It steals even more land by bisecting Palestinian territory with its “fence”. Anyone trying to organize resistance gets jailed, tortured, or blown up. Sick of their terrible trials, Palestinians elect Hamas, whose leaders make it perfectly clear that they are ready to deal on the basis of the old two-state solution, which of course is the one thing Israel cannot endure. Israel doesn’t want any “peaceful solution” that gives the Palestinians anything more than a few trashed out acres surrounded with barbed wire and tanks, between the Israeli settlements whose goons can murder them pretty much at will. So here we are, 24 years after Sharon did his best to destroy Lebanon in 1982, and his heirs are doing it all over again. Since they can’t endure the idea of any just settlement for Palestinians, it’s the only thing they know how to do. Call Lebanon a terror-haven and bomb it back to the stone age. Call Gaza a terror-haven and bomb its power plant, first stop on the journey back to the stone age. Bomb Damascus. Bomb Teheran. Of course they won’t destroy Hezbollah. Every time they kill another Lebanese family, they multiply hatred of Israel and support for Hezbollah. They’ve even unified the parliament in Baghdad, which just voted unanimously -- Sunnis and Shi’ites and Kurds alike -- to deplore Israel’s conduct and to call for a ceasefire. I hope you’ve enjoyed these little excursions into history, even though history is dangerous, which is why the US press gives it a wide birth. But even without the benefit of historical instruction, a majority of Americans in CNN’s instant poll –- about 55 per cent out of 800,000 as of midday, July 19 -- don’t like what Israel is up to. Dislike is one thing, but at least in the short term it doesn’t help much. Israel’s 1982 attack on Lebanon grew unpopular in the US, after the first few days. But forcing the US to pressure Israel to settle the basic problem takes political courage, and virtually no US politician is prepared to buck the Israel lobby, however many families in Lebanon and Gaza may be sacrificed on the altar of such cowardice.
  4. You joke but infact there's people who think like that......including Prince Philip here in the UK. Anyway.....I have a feeling that this current war will widen and also last for a long period.
  5. Here's a big newsflash for you.... 'Islamic terrorism' (notice the quotes) is a creation through set-up, funding, as well as incitement, by the rogue powers that have the hold on both major parties in the U.S, the UK and many other U.N members. Why would the US and it's allies create 'Christian Terrorism' when the foundations of their political campaigns are based on christian principles?? ....They wouldn't as they wouldn't gain anything from that. However, the US administration isn't truly based on this Christian backbone as it's all a big 'points winner' with the voters. They issued a FBI release flyer which lists people how have "Christian Identity", who are "Defenders of the US Constitiution" and "Animal Rights" supporters as "Terrorists".......I mean it's madness.... It's messed up, It's completely fucked up my friend. The world needs a big dose of the 'red pill' and must learn about why these things are happening and then take a long look at who stands to gain. Read it. The second page has the "terrorist" list. Front, Page 1 Inside, Page 2
  6. I thought this happened months ago??? no?? Ah well.
  7. Lebanon 'has been torn to shreds' The Lebanese prime minister has called for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah militants, saying his country "has been torn to shreds". Fouad Siniora said more than 300 people had been killed and 500,000 others displaced in a week of Israeli attacks. More than 60 civilians died in fresh air strikes as two Israeli soldiers and a Hezbollah militant died in clashes. FOREIGNERS IN LEBANON * Canada: 40,000 * Philippines: 30,000 * Australia: 25,000 * US: 25,000 * UK: 22,000 (inc. 10,000 with dual nationality) * France: 20,000 Figures correct at start of conflict Barrages of Hezbollah rockets have been fired into northern Israel, where two children were killed in Nazareth. Twenty-nine Israelis have died - including 15 civilians killed by rocket attacks - since the Israeli offensive against Hezbollah militants began eight days ago. In further action on Wednesday night, Israel said a wave of planes had bombed a bunker in the south of the capital, Beirut, where it believed Hezbollah leaders had taken refuge. Israel launched attacks on Lebanon after Hezbollah captured two Israeli soldiers in a cross-border raid. Many thousands continue to flee Lebanon, and several countries have sent ships and helicopters to move their nationals. But thousands of others remain trapped, with major roads cut by Israeli bombing, and no supplies reaching many areas. In other developments: * Relief agencies say there is a growing need for water, sanitation and medical facilities for those displaced within Lebanon * French President Jacques Chirac called for humanitarian corridors in Lebanon to protect civilians from Israeli air raids as they flee the fighting * UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice are to discuss the crisis on Thursday. 'Callous retribution' In an emotional televised appeal, the Lebanese prime minister urged the international community to intervene. "I call upon you all to respond immediately... and provide urgent international humanitarian assistance to our war-stricken country," Mr Siniora said. "Can the international community stand by while such callous retribution by the state of Israel is inflicted on us?" He vowed to make Israel pay compensation to Lebanon for the "barbaric destruction". Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said the campaign against the militants would continue "as long as necessary" to free its captured soldiers and ensure Hezbollah is not a threat. Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres told the BBC that Israel wanted peace, but could not sit back while Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel. Wednesday saw further Israeli strikes in the east, south and Beirut, where a Christian district came under fire for the first time. At least 12 people were killed in a southern village near the city of Tyre and civilian deaths were also reported in other parts of the south and near Baalbek in the east. The strikes came as Israeli ground troops continued what they call "restricted pinpoint attacks" into southern Lebanon. Heavy exchanges of fire erupted after Israeli tanks and infantry crossed the border in search of Hezbollah weapons and facilities. For their part, Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets at Israeli cities including Haifa and Tiberias http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/5196800.stm This is all going up another level, it's a very grave situation.
  8. That's right. You never do see groups do anything but I know for fact that there were many people on the streets in Palestine and in Isreali cities who were openly calling for and end to all of this. Peace demonstrations organised by the Jewish Alliance for Justice and Peace were full of people calling for Hezbollah and the Isreali government to cease fire - you can't bring peace with this war, only peace will bring peace. This is largly ignored by the mainstream media and is certainly not picked up on in the U.S accurately, if at all. It's like the massive Jerusalem protests against the U.S. peace plan which are played down by CNN, giving a false report on the event. There was over 250,000 people at the protest - probably 300,000 as reported by news outlets from Jerusalem to London and even a report in the Washington post that said "The rally, centered at the Jaffa Gate entrance to the walled Old City, was said to be the largest demonstration ever in Jerusalem and one of the largest in recent Israeli history, attracting a quarter-million people, according to police estimates."
  9. Damn right they shouldn't pay! It's disgusting when you think about all the wasted money. Money blown on strategic globalist wars which were sold to the public on documented lies! Everything little thing they do is criminal.
  10. 95% of all religion is suspect. And the Globalists put out this propaganda to insight hate for muslims.....your a victim of it. I'm afraid. "Ohh the horrible Arabs!!" What crap. We all know that this is not a case of religion on the part of the Globalists leaders. It's about stealing the wealth from other countries and keeping the little people little. And they can't have Islamic peoples looking good......otherwise how would they get people to go along with such open destruction of sovereign nations. So, I for one do disagree then, yes. Little suprise I bet.
  11. Fox News analyst compares Israelis to Nazis Bevelacqua tells O'Reilly Jewish state ruthless in Lebanon WorldNetDaily | July 18, 2006 Fox News military analyst Maj. Bob Bevelacqua, a former Green Beret, appearing tonight on "The O'Reilly Factor," compared Israeli actions in Lebanon and Gaza with Nazi actions in Russia during World War II. Bevelacqua, a long-time Fox News contributor, said the Israelis were unwilling to compromise in their conflict with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. He denied that the Israelis willingly evacuated from Gaza and Lebanon. "Saying the Israelis pulled out of Lebanon is like saying the Nazis pulled out of Moscow," he said. "They invaded Lebanon. They invaded Gaza. They take homes and then they give them back. And they expect some type of great recognition." Bevelacqua acknowledged he had business interests in Lebanon – a company that employed 30 people. His Fox News biography says he works with the WVC3 Group in Reston, Va., an elite security group that provides homeland security services, support and technologies to government and commercial clients. "They (the Israelis) lack the word compromise," Bevelacqua said. "They refuse to sit down and negotiate." His resume also says he has a 17-year history of worldwide military experience, including combat in the Gulf War, riot control in Los Angeles, a peacekeeping mission in Haiti, security assistance missions in West African countries and numerous anti-drug missions on the U.S. border with Mexico. This is nuts.
  12. The amount of people who took the "factor 8" Bayer drug which was laced with HIV and other deadly diseases and DIED ranges from 200,000 up to 1,000,000.....I'll have more info on this story later I think.
  13. Pentagon Papers Author Daniel Ellsberg Says Government May Have Carried Out 9/11 Pentagon Papers Author Daniel Ellsberg Says Government May Have Carried Out 9/11 Predicts Bush Regime Will Stage Terrorist Attack to Provide Pretext for Iran, Syria Invasion, And Justify Internment Camps for American People Infowars | July 19, 2006 By Kevin Smith & Alex Jones Daniel Ellsberg is a former American military analyst employed by the RAND Corporation who precipitated a national firestorm in 1971 when he released the Pentagon Papers, the US military's account of activities during the Vietnam War, to The New York Times. The release awakened the American people to a systematic program of organized deception carried out by the Pentagon against the population to continue the Vietnam War. "If there’s another 9/11 or a major war in the Middle-East involving a U.S. attack on Iran, I have no doubt that there will be, the day after or within days an equivalent of a Reichstag fire decree that will involve massive detentions in this country." - Daniel Ellsberg Author, Pentagon Papers Daniel Ellsberg, speaking on air to GCN radio host Jack Blood, stated his concerns that criminal elements of the US government were psychologically capable to have carried out 9/11. He warned that within days after a US military strike on Iran that Bush's handlers would probably stage some type of terror attack in the West to legitimize the new war. Ellsberg went on to state that another major Reichstag-like state-sponsored attack would be followed by a martial law scenario which might include detention camps for American dissenters. Ellsberg said that he worked with individuals at the highest levels of government who staged war provocations several times to whip up pro-war sentiment in the US. Daniel Ellsberg now joins the ranks of hundreds of prominent engineers, physicists, economists, military officers, pilots, high-level intelligence analysts, and cabinet ministers who are exposing the 9/11 hoax. Each day more and more respected professionals are going public with their questions about the official 9/11 fable. The 9/11 cover-up dam is breaking under the weight of these truthseekers' efforts and the perpetrators of 9/11 are watching them in horror while wondering who will be the next to speak up. Here is a partial transcript of the interview: Jack Blood: Have you had a chance to take a look at a lot of this information coming from America’s leading scholars, physicists, engineers, etc. Who have taken a look now at 9/11 and are now, not only questioning what might have happened on 9/11, but really being very direct including a number of high level … Daniel Ellsberg: Actually, I have looked at a lot of that, and I’ll tell you without going into it all which would take a lot of time, I find some of it very implausible and other parts of it quite solid, and there’s no question in my mind that there’s enough evidence there to justify a very comprehensive and hard hitting investigation of a kind that we’ve not seen, with subpoenas, general questioning of people, and raising the release of a lot of documents, there’s no question that (D.E. chuckles) put it this way, very serious questions have been raised, about how much they knew beforehand and how much involvement there may been. Is the, is a administration capable, humanly and physiologically of engineering such a provocation? Yes, I would say that, I worked for such an administration myself, Johnson, ah, President Johnson put destroyers in harm’s way in the Tonkin Gulf not only once, but several times, with the, with a lot of his people hoping that it would lead to a confrontation and claiming that it had. And could have resulted in the lost of many lives in the course of it. And what I’m saying now, by the way though is this, and here there’s a very strong analogy, to this day there is a controversy gone back and forth historically, as to who caused the Reichstag fire, the burning of their parliament, the Reichstag, on February 27 th 1933. Goering, at one point, the number two man in the Nazi regime, said “I set that fire”, later he denied that at Nuremberg, and I’ve noticed that the latest history suggests, that it wasn’t the Nazi’s. The point is that all this time later is there is still a controversy about that. But, what there’s no controversy about is the use the Nazi’s made of it, that very night and the next day. J.B. Cui Bono, who benefits D.E. February 28 th, there was a Reichstag fire decree that ended freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of association, all in the Weimar Constitution, and privacy of the postal system and of communications and of telephone, what ended here to, more than we knew four years ago right after 9/11. If there’s another 9/11 or a major war in the Middle-East involving a U.S. attack on Iran, I have no doubt that there will be, the day after or within days an equivalent of a Reichstag fire decree that will involve massive detentions in this country, detention camps for middle-easterners and their quote “sympathizers”, critics of the President’s policy and essentially the wiping-out of the Bill of Rights. J.B. I know your walking very carefully here Daniel Ellsberg, but that’s pretty strong medicine and we have to look at the history of the world, governments do this, as you mentioned, governments are liars, governments are murderers, they, this is not above them, I’m sure your familiar with the Northwoods Document. D.E. Ah yes, indeed. Yeah talking about a manufactured provocation which could have involved even the shooting down of an American or some other airliner, with American support. Yes I would say by the way, that Americans definitely play this game, I’m sure that it’s happening now. We, I expected by the way, Bush to manufacture a kind of Tonkin Gulf incident before he went into Iraq and then I decided well I’d been wrong they didn’t feel they needed that. It is interesting that the memos that came out, in conversations between Blair and Bush, (aka The White House Memo), show that Bush was pressing for the possibility of sending over a U-2 and getting it fired on and using that as an excuse. J.B. A U-2 painted like a U.N., ah, a United Nations airplane. D.E. Yes, but they couldn’t do that again for sure. But, what is happening right now is that Israel is clearly seeking a generally provocative act by both Hammas and Hezbollah, which I think were not wise acts some people are applauding those in the Middle-East passing out sweets and so forth, very short-sighted I would say, a lot of innocent people are going to die as a result. 14. Surprise! Foiled Liberty City Terror Plotter Was Working For Feds Master G.J.G Atheea Was Alleged Spiritual Adviser FBI Later Used Him As An Informant CBS4 News | July 18, 2006 By Brian Andrews DOWNTOWN MIAMI CBS-4 News has learned a person targeted by the FBI early on in the investigation into the so-called Liberty City Seven had a falling out with the group and became a government informant weeks before the feds made arrests in the case. Court records obtained by CBS4's Brian Andrews say Master G.J.G. Atheea, a "Moses" like figure who wears dark glasses and carries a wooden staff, was accused ring leader Narseal Batiste's spiritual guide. After a falling out with the group, Atheea became an FBI informant, The FBI originally picked Atheea on wiretaps saying he was joining forces with Batiste in his mission to create a Moorish nation. In his conversations with Atheea, Batiste once again brought up the topic of the Princess cruise ship that caught on fire earlier this year. In that recorded conversation, Atheea responded, That aint nothing compared to what divine father got laid up for us, suggesting he may have known about Batistes plans to blow up the Sears tower. G.J.G. Atheea was a target of the FBI before becoming an informant for them. By April 27th, Atheea had gone to the FBI with the news of the possible terrorist threat to the US. He told agents how Batiste had formed an alliance with an "Arabian Mafia" to provide weapons and other sources for a terror attack on the US. On May 16th, the FBI sent Atheea to meet with Batiste. During that meeting, Batiste told Atheea that he never said that he had acquired weapons from the mafia, but that he was told they could provide any resources he needed to complete his mission. Weeks later, the group fell apart, with only a few members siding with Batiste in his alleged plans. That's when the FBI moved in and made arrests in the case. Master G.J.G. Atheea has not been charged in the case and it's not known whether he will be a witness for the Government. He declined to speak to CBS4 about his involvement in the case on camera, offering a rambling hand-written statement about his group's beliefs instead of any firm information about his involvement. 16. Fahrenheit 911 white-washes the whole issue....it leaves out SO much and makes light of only a few smoking-guns, most of them far less important than others. And, no, I shouldn't have to be careful.....why? The point is that he said these comments and nobody questions Israeli diplomat Dan Gillerman's comments......I'm sure as a host of a TV you would be shocked and should be slightly angry when hearing this......but not on corporate Fox News.
  17. Israeli Diplomat: 'all terrorists are Muslim' Monday July 17th 2006, 8:08 am Imagine a member of the KKK going on the Bill O’Reilly show and declaring all African-Americans are shiftless crackheads. Imagine the outrage and calls for Fox News to be investigated for promoting racism and hatred. Now imagine an Israeli diplomat going on Bill O’Reilly’s show and declaring all Muslims are terrorists. In fact, this happened, and nobody is calling the diplomat, Dan Gillerman, Israeli Ambassador to the UN, a racist or are there demands Fox News be investigated for promoting racism and hatred. In Bushzarro world, it is fine and dandy to characterize all Muslims as terrorists. “While it is politically incorrect to say that all Muslims are terrorists, unfortunately, it’s true that all terrorists are Muslim,” Gillerman said on O’Reilly’s show yesterday, July 16. I picked up this quote from a blog. It was not mentioned in the corporate media. A Google News search returned no results. Either the people who post at the Truth Will Set You Free blog made the quote up or Israelis spewing racist hatred is so common and acceptable nobody bothered to mention it. Of course, when Iran’s Ahmadinejad says anything about Israel, it is front page news. In fact, so eager is the corporate media to demonize Ahmadinejad, it reprints distortions of his comments (Ahmadinejad never said Israel should be “wiped off the map,” as widely reported), which are then used to further rationalize “all Muslims are terrorists” comments. As FAIR noted late last month, the starting point of all discussion in the corporate media about events in the Middle East begins with the assumption Arabs and Muslims are terrorists. For instance, in regard to the Palestinians: If anything, what “hardly ever varies” is mainstream media’s adherence to an attack-retaliation formula that overwhelmingly places the blame on the Palestinian side, though in the ongoing cycle of attacks both sides usually describe their actions as retaliatory…. From the start of the Intifada in September 2000 through March 17, 2002, the three major networks’ nightly news shows used some variation of the word “retaliation” (”retaliated,” “will retaliate,” etc.) 150 times to describe attacks in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. About 79 percent of those references were to Israeli “retaliation” against Palestinians. Only 9 percent referred to Palestinian “retaliation” against Israelis. (Approximately 12 percent were ambiguous or referred to both sides simultaneously.) A 2002 Glasgow University Media Group report revealed “that television news on the Israel/Palestinian conflict [in Britain] confuses viewers and substantially features Israeli government views…. There is a preponderance of official ‘Israeli perspectives’, particularly on BBC 1, where Israelis were interviewed or reported over twice as much as Palestinians. On top of this, US politicians who support Israel were very strongly featured…. TV news says almost nothing about the history or origins of the conflict.” In America, this bias even more pronounced. Few television news viewers (or zombies) realize Israel invaded Lebanon in 1978 and 1982, or that Israel occupied southern Lebanon for more than twenty years and this brutal occupation (as documented by human rights organizations) resulted in the formation of Hezbollah. Few understand Israel has stolen Arab land, including the Golan Heights and Shebaa Farms, and common Israeli border provocations result in Hezbollah attacking Israel. Few understand the magnitude of Israel’s abduction of Lebanese, accused of resisting Israel’s illegal occupation, or the fact many of them were tortured in the Khiam torture dungeon. “Lebanese detainees held without trial or after expiry of their sentences in Israeli prisons and in Khiam are Israel’s forgotten hostages,” notes Amnesty International. “Amnesty International knows of 21 Lebanese nationals who have been captured in Lebanon and transferred to Israeli prisons either without ever having been sentenced or held beyond the expiry of their sentences. These are just some of the detainees whom Amnesty International believes Israel to be holding as hostages. Most of them were captured by the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) or by one of the pro-Israeli Christian militias in Lebanon, the Lebanese Forces or the SLA. Many of them were held in detention centers in Lebanon under Lebanese Forces’ or SLA control before being transferred, usually secretly, to Israel.” No mention of this in the corporate media. Instead, we are told, without additional comment, all Muslims are terrorists. No mention in the corporate media of Israel’s continual and repeated violations of Lebanese airspace. “Secretary-General Kofi Annan’s Personal Representative for Southern Lebanon today called on Israel to cease its air violations over Lebanese territory,” the UN News Center reported on November 4, 2004. “Staffan de Mistura issued his statement in Beirut in response to eight flights involving 11 aircraft and three drones across the Blue Line, as the line of withdrawal is known.” Israel has violated Lebanese sovereignty dozens of time, buzzing Beirut, Tripoli, Tyre, and other cities, often using sonic booms to intimidate the population. Earlier this year Terje Roed-Larsen, the UN envoy to Middle East, complained of “constant Israel violations against Lebanon,” but such stories seem to be of interest only to the Arab media. No mention of Israel’s violence around the illegally occupied Shebaa Farms. In response to Hezbollah attacking occupation forces at Shebaa Farms, Israel attacks civilians as a matter of course. “News reports in Beirut said that the Israeli forces started artillery bombardment of Kafer Shouba village and the neighboring villages after Hizbullah fighters fired one missile at a site for the Israeli occupation army in Shebaa farms,” the Arabic News reported in February. “The Israeli bombardment resulted in injuring one Lebanese woman and damages to several houses in al-Habareyah and al-Kheyam and in al-Habareyah elementary school. One house in Kafer Shouba was directly hit.” In November, 2005, “police explained that one Israeli military tank and artilleries bombarded for 45 minutes several Lebanese villages…. [and Hezbollah] retaliated the Israeli bombardment and fired mortars shelling at three Israeli positions in Shabaa Farms.” In October of the same year, the IOF attacked Burket al-Nakkar and Jabal Saddaneh with attack helicopters. Of course, all of this occurred on Lebanese soil, and yet Lebanon did not invade Israel or incinerate school kids on Israeli roads. Instead, Fox News welcomes comments that all Muslims are terrorists and this feeds into the perception that killing innocent Lebanese civilians is justified because they allowed Hezbollah to capture Israeli prisoners of war. If we are to use such a yardstick, then Hezbollah attacks on Israel are completely justified, as Israel has taken Lebanese prisoners by the dozens, not because they have done anything but rather because they are considered “bargaining chips.”
  18. James Woolsey calls for an attack on Syria Crooks and Liars | July 18 2006 VIDEO HERE Former CIA man James Woolsey, appeared with John Gibson today and joined in with the neocon chorus and wants the US to attack Syria. Woolsey says it’s really about Iran vs the US. No ceasefires or arrests. He wants air strikes on Syria immediately. Gibson asked him why the US shouldn’t just hit Iran. Woolsey: Well, ahh, one has to take things to some degree by steps. He’s said that we are in World War IV since ‘03 as part of a group calling itself "Americans for Victory Over Terrorism": The group was founded by former Education Secretary William Bennett, who took part in Wednesday’s event along with Paul Bremer, a U.S. ambassador during the Reagan administration and the former chairman of the National Commission on Terrorism. What a war happy, propagandist idiot.
  19. CNN prepares Israeli false flag war provocation vs. Americans in Lebanon Webster G. Tarpley | July 18 2006 The escalating Israeli assault on Lebanon clearly represents a conscious bid to provoke a general war in the Middle East. The captured Israeli soldiers are only the pretext for the present massive military operations. Israeli spokesmen are making constant allegations that Hezbollah missiles being fired at Israel have been manufactured or delivered by Iran. At the same time, the Israelis accuse Hezbollah of wanting to transfer the two captured Israeli soldiers to Syria or Iran. These statements are an attempt to build a case for an Israeli sneak attack on Syria and/or Iran. US spokesmen, including the Nietzschean fascist John Bolton, constantly repeat the litany that Syria and Iran are the supporters of Hezbollah. How might the Israelis and their Bush-Cheney allies escalate to a Middle East regional war? A linear scenario is that, after further bombardment of Israel by rockets allegedly made in Iran and allegedly delivered with the connivance of Syria, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) lashes out at Damascus and Teheran. Syrian and Iranian retaliatory measures would then be seized upon by the Bush-Cheney regime as a pretext for US entry into the war. Here the US would be openly dragged into war as the tail of the Israeli dog. But this is a deeply flawed scenario, sure to generate huge waves of resentment against the Israelis and their US partners as the body bags begin to come home. False flag scenarios would be entirely more effective from the point of view of the war planners. CNN and MSNBC coverage this Saturday morning has been stressing the situation of the 25,000 Americans now stuck in Lebanon. These Americans are being invited to register with the US consulates for possible evacuation. The State Department and the US military have been remarkably slow to begin such an evacuation. One possible provocation scenario to bring the US into the war is that a helicopter carrying US citizens being evacuated out of Lebanon is hit by a missile and destroyed, killing all on board. The missile might be fired by the Israelis or by their allies among the fascist Lebanese Phalangists. The Israelis would announce that the helicopter had been destroyed by Hezbollah, opening the way for a hysterical campaign by Fox News and the rest of the neocon mass brainwashing apparatus to secure an early US attack on Syria and Iran. An alternative: a group of Arabic-speaking Israeli Mossad or Shin Beth special forces, or a group of Phalangist militia round up a few dozen Americans and machine-gun them to death. The controlled media then blame the massacre on Hezbolllah, thus stampeding the US population into war. The "Christian" Phalangist (or "Kataeb Party") have long been a willing cat's paw for the US and Israelis in Lebanon. It was the Phalangists, controlled by the Gemayel family, who did most of the actual killing at the infamous Tel-al-Zaatar massacre in August 1976, in the midst of the Kissinger-provoked Lebanese civil war. The Phalangists in that case did the dirty work under the supervision of the Israelis. Although the controlled media have been silent about the Phalange, it is clear that they are still available for dirty operations. In an ominous sign, CNN broadcasts have featured first-person interviews with Caroline Shamoun, supposedly an American stuck in Lebanon. This reference recalls Camille Chamoun, the CIA puppet president of Lebanon who called in US forces in 1958. The goal of the current campaign is manifestly to call US forces to intervene into a Lebanon-centered crisis once again. All peace-loving governments and all Americans of good will should make it clear that they hold the Israeli Mossad, Shin Beth, and Israeli Defense Forces directly responsible for the safety and welfare of the Americans trapped in Lebanon by the present aggression. Any atrocities against these Americans cannot be attributed to Hezbollah, Syria, or Iran, none of whom has any conceivable interest in provoking the US into an attack. It is Israel and Cheney who have such an interest, as is likely to have been discussed during Olmert's visit to the US in May and Netanyahu's visit here in June. It is imperative that the US and world populations be inoculated against the provocation scenarios now being propagandized by CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the controlled media.
  20. This is terrible.......truly....it's an attempt to get the official lies into the minds of the younger generation (which along with our generation, have a VERY good chance of getting truth out) More Arab hate in the childrens minds.... Comic book looks at 11 September London Independent / Andrew Buncombe | July 18 2006 The 600-page official inquiry into the 9/11 attacks are to be compressed into a comic strip version aimed at younger readers and others who might have be put off by the small print of the densely written report. Veteran comic book illustrators Sid Jacobson and Ernie Colon have used skills more used to normally associated with drawing Superman and Wonder Woman to produce an illustrated version of the deadliest ever attack on the US. The 150 page comic book includes captions such as "Whooom!" and "R-rrumble.". Despite concerns that some might consider a comic strip not suitable way of presenting such a serious topic, the forthcoming publication has received the backing of the official commission's chairman, former New Jersey governor Thomas Kean. "When I first heard about it, I was very concerned but when I looked at it, it was absolutely accurate," he told the Washington Post. He said that he and his vice-chairman, Lee Hamilton, wrote a foreword for the comic book, which also measures how far the commission's recommendations have so far been included. Mr Kean said that although the original report had remained on the top of the best-seller lists for two years he hoped that the new version would encourage even more readers. "I didn't think we'd be a bestseller, and I didn't think we'd be turned into a comic book," he added. Victims' organisations have also given their cautious backing to the project though they warn that the images and storyline will inevitably cause upset and distress for some. "Our organisation has pushed for the report to be read and for the recommendations to be put in place," said Caitlin Zampella of the survivors' group, Families of September 11 Inc. "We do want people to read it and to be aware of what was said." The report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States was published in the summer of 2004. It essentially confirmed the generally accepted narrative - that 19 hijackers were responsible for the attacks - and made numerous recommendations to try and counter such attacks in the future. There were, however, critics of the report who said the commissioners had failed to fully address responsibility for the shortcomings or investigate some seemingly incongruous aspects of the 9/11 events, such as the collapse of 7 World Trade Centre, a 47 floor steel-frame building close to the World Trade Centre. Some experts have raised doubts as to the likelihood of this building collapsing as a result of fires started by the fall of the two towers, something that continues to fuel numerous conspiracy theories about 9/11. The report also failed to properly explain why Mohammed Atta and one of the other hijackers travelled to Portland, Maine, the evening before the attacks and then caught a early morning flight to Boston's Logan airport where they boarded American Airlines Flight 11 which they subsequently seized control of and flew into the north tower. Mr Colon, who for 25 years drew the "Richie Rich" and "Caspar" comic strips, said he hit upon the idea of producing the 9/11 report as a comic book when he discovered that the contents of the report were in the public domain. "I called Sid about what I had just seen in the paper," he said. Mr Colon said he believed their comic book version distills many of the overlapping aspects of the official report. And he said he is convinced this form will find new readers. "There are going to be a whole bunch of kids, teenagers and adults that will not read the report," he said. "The educational system at large has resisted them because of the term 'comic book'. I like to think of them as something that has more purpose."
