  1. Haha...I feel the same way. I like band members to bring their creative energy to their band. I still don't think everything's good on the home front with this band. Ronnie is doing a side project, too. Like I've said before, a band this young doesn't need that long of a break. 2 of the 4 band members are already back to making music, its just not with the killers.
  2. Jack is very chill. I like his early stuff better than his more recent releases, but maybe I'll take a listen to his new album when it comes out.
  3. I've never been a fan of solo projects while someone is still in a band. If you are going to do a solo project, I think it should at least be something that you really couldn't do in the confines of your own band. Gwen Stefani's solo CDs are a good example.
  4. I wish Atoms for Peace would have: 1. Picked a better band name AND 2. Released a new album to tour behind Touring behind the Eraser is just tired to me.
  5. Exactly right. Both achtung baby and Joshua tree were critical and commercial successes. You can only imagine what music would sound like without the existence of these two albums because such a place does not exist.
  6. Yeah, it's not like I am against this project. In fact, I quite liked it when it began. I've just grown indifferent towards it. Not anti atoms for peace, just very pro radiohead.
  7. I am ready for atoms for peace to be over.
  8. Yeah, the Use Your Illusion albums had some incredible songs, and it was certainly a step forward. Like most double albums, I wish they would have gotten rid of half the songs and made it a great single album. November Rain, Don't Cry, Civil War, Estranged, You Could Be Mine, and Yesterdays are great songs. I still prefer almost every song off of Appetite. I just love the hard guitar rock feel of that album. To me, Appetite is what GNR is all about.
  9. It's debatable. Every band wishes they had people debating over which of two masterpieces is better. I can only think of a handful of bands with this "problem."
