Radiohead
^ I need the studio releases. I don't have time for much else.

Radiohead
Haha...that was the point. It's time for someone to get parental with these lads.

Radiohead
Nah, this album should be out by now, and it would be if Jonny weren't so busy playing Wii.

I've got a riddle for you: What's three years in the making and long over due?

Radiohead
^ What?!? Is Jonnny talking about video games? Stop playing video games and get back to writing LP8. No video games until your homework is done.
-
Radiohead
I find these side projects are rarely worth listening to. I'm not talking about anything thom does, but the others (maybe with the exception of jonny) I'll pass on.

The Beatles
I like the beatles because my mom loved them and would play their songs over and over. I hated them at the time and wanted to listen to music that, to be honest, was of a more immature taste. As my love of good music developed, I came to realize that mom was onto something. Good job, mom!

U2
Nice, can't wait. Thanks for the info.

U2
^ haha...I love Bono. Easily my favorite frontman of all time. Is the view the same as the YouTube video? Sorry to bug. I should just wait until tomorrow. I just hope it has a good recording of Ultraviolet. It's a top 3 U2 song for me, and the circle mic and lighting just fit that song.

U2
Are you talking about how he swings from the circle mic, or his gyrations in general? I hope it's good. I was at the Rose Bowl show but had miserable seats. This will be like watching it for the first time.
-
U2
Awesome. Have you watched it yet? I think it comes out tomorrow. I am going to pick it up on my way home from work.

Tom Petty
Anything on "Greatest Hits" is fantastic. I also love "Anthology..." as it digs a little deeper. I love rockers like "Change of Heart" and "Love is a Long Road." That's in addition to the big hits. And, yes, American Girl is kickass.

Jack Johnson
Banana pancakes is great. I love the laid back style of Jack. I wish my life was as care free as his music sounds. Oh well, at least I can visit that vibe through his tunes.

Tom Petty
Just get his greatest hits for starters. I would recommend every single song on there without exception. One of the strongest greatest hits albums ever, IMO.

Well good. Maybe you can post a video sometime.

Good try. Free Fallin' is an incredible song. Keep at it. edit: Reminded me of one of my favorite quotes ever: "You tried your best, and failed miserably. The lesson is...never try". - Homer Simpson

^ I think we all know someone with the Kurt Cobain type look/approach to life. They scare me, honestly.
-
U2
^ He's created the musical backdrop for the biggest band over the last 25 years. Not only that, but his guitar playing is recognized instantly as being uniquely his own. I don't care if he's a virtuoso or not.

The Smiths
haha...indeed.

The Pink Floyd Thread
That's why it's interesting (for me, at least) to meet these cats. It gives you a little behind the scenes look. However, people can be generous and giving to their fans and still be jerks. It's just kind an observation. And it falls into the whole "he's never done wrong by me" category.
