  3. Don't you think it's funny that, whenever you hear rumblings that something is going on, and are told that nothing is going on, something really is going on? I have heard rumors that the Killers have been spending too much time together for awhile. Then you would always get the response, "no, there's no problems." Hmmm, ok! Listen, I hope they finish up their tour strong, take a much needed break, and re-group better than ever. They, along with Coldplay, are the most ambitious band going right now.
  4. I think around $500 was a winning bid for the auction. That's a lot of money, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Especially for a once in a lifetime opportunity. The Henry Fonda Theater is super, duper small. I, of course, did not bid $500 because, although I love Radiohead, I also value food, clothing, and shelter.
  5. First off, I don't believe in labels. I am on record as saying that many times. BUT if I did, I would categorize most of these recommendations as Indie, not alternative. When I think of alternative music, I think of stuff ranging from the Smiths/Pixies/R.E.M. to Pearl Jam/Radiohead/Smashing Pumpkins.
  6. I am on the record as saying this lineup, for the most part, sucks. I am not speaking of the lesser acts. I am addressing the headliners. Is this the best they could round up?
  7. I know I will see all the usual Hollywood assholes there. Heading the list will be that piece of shit Tobey Maguire. I might have to kick him in the nuts if I see him. I am tired of that loser. I am also certain that tons of musicians will be there. Grammies are next weekend, so there will be all these artists looking to drink at the trough that is Radiohead.
  8. I just talked to my friend who won auction tickets to the show. I wish I was going so bad, but he and his wife are fans, so I'm happy that they get to go. Plus, I am sneaky like a snake. I will be there, and who knows what I will be able to pull off. There is something about the elites buying a common man's pleasure that brings out a sense of lawlessness in me.
  9. I live in Los Angeles and I'm not going to this. Tickets for this thing are going to cost a flipping fortune. On the one hand, I understand the whole idea behind it is to raise money. On the other, it sucks because no fan will be able to pay the prices these tickets are going to go for.
  10. Yeah, he should be like Dave Matthews and just call it the Thom Yorke Band :D
  11. To be honest, I am not that excited about it unless they come up with some new songs. The Eraser live is pretty good, and a few songs at the end is nice. I just don't think it's that exciting of a concept without some new twists.
  12. I like peanut butter and jelly. That's all I'm certain about.
  13. I can't see, I can't see. Damn it, butterflies are in my eyes.
  14. Ah, that's kind of cool. And far more flattering than the alternative explanations rumbling around in my head.
  15. I don't know either. But I like that the tag for this thread is "deoderant," so if I want to find it in the future, it shouldn't be too hard.
  16. Am I reading the title correctly?
  17. Never heard of him, but I like the name. In honor and remembrance, I shall henceforth be known as 'bjaiken reatard'.
  18. "something, something human...something something dancer"
  19. ^ thank you. 'bout time I get some credit.
  20. Incedentally, both songs were written by me.
  21. Actually, that was also stolen from me..."A, B, C, D, something, something, something"
  22. "da, da, da, da, da, da umbrella, ella, ella, something, something, something."
  23. "da, da, da, da pillars of salt, pillars of sand, da, da da, something, something, something."
