Mine is about 55 min. at the moment, but I'll probably end up exchanging a few of them for more shorter songs instead of all 5 min+ songs...I know I love all the ones I put on so far, but I can see someone else getting bored easily or already knowing a few of them. :\

Well yeah, why not? I mean they've been around for ten years now and made four albums is it that unrealistic to see them making that many or more in the next 10-15 years? Though, for the record, I do agree with you that I'd rather see them break up or take an extended break on a high note than slowly and painfully get worse.

I really don't know... I mean I could see them keeping it up for a U2-like length of time just getting better and being the best band in the world for decades to come, but then again I had a nightmare last night that Chris finally went through with it and broke up the band to work more on other peoples music because he had gone bald! A lot of the time I think that they won't stop even when they become irrelevant to the masses because being in Coldplay is what they do, its their job as well as what they love to do every day with their best friends. Number-wise I can see them making maybe five-seven more in their career. Or maybe thats just my wishful thinking.

I'd love to join this, please add my name to the list. :) You obscure artist lovers might want to pray I don't get you because I am pretty much the epitome of mainstream and have only really started to broaden my musical tastes recently.

I have 292 "songs" labeled with Coldplay as the artist, but that's including a lot of interviews and a few mixes, instrumentals, and acoustics so song wise I probably have somewhere around 200 actual songs including covers and unreleased.

The evidence keeps piling up, I think it should definitely have its own thread if only to get this revelation out to all Coldplay fans :D And I remember that interview, it was around fathers day and when the interviewer asked what he was doing for fathers day Guy replied that he should call his dad and seemed surprised to be reminded of his own daughter having to call him. I always found that rather strange...

Was at the Mets game today which was awesome since they won 9-0 over the Cardinals after last nights epic fail (and Castillo, WTF?!), but then you have the hilarity of Sheffield walking off the field with a hamstring injury and Niese throwing a warm up pitch after a split at first which didn't even get the out and collapsing to the mound. Apparently, he completely tore part of his right hamstring from the bone. Someone should put this team in a bubble, I swear if I was any of those guys I'd be afraid to leave my house because at this point its just ridiculous!

He was talking in his twitter about how good bands/people really emerge in certain number years and how 2009 was bound to have bad music because of past "9" years amount of suckage musically. I don't know how big a fan he is but at least he lumped them in the greats group.

I personally when considering who to vote for also looked more favorably on the shorter entries because they weren't as daunting a task to read through and the best written which more often than not turned out to be the most thought out story. Though I of course will be supporting and voting for whichever entries from this forum are submitted I hope others are considering what might impress the Absolute people the most when they see these stories versus those of other forums. Just because people here, coldplay fans, think someones story is amazing and will look past the lol's and omg's and blatant spelling errors doesn't mean others will do the same.

When you buy all four studio albums even though you don't own any other cds and probably will never listen to them but felt like a bad fan when you didn't have them.

To resist or unite?! I'm loving all these clues and discussion on Muse boards of global utopia i've always found that stuff interesting. Anywho, this guy is going to try to get the NYC USB tomorrow if anyone wants to follow him. I wonder what he's going to choose...
