  1. I watched the whole thing live... I can only imagine what it was like to be there! Too bad nobody else did it... but at least you did! You're the man! If nothing else, this will be a way for us to recognize each other, as someone pointed out earlier in this thread. So let's keep it up!
  2. That's amazingly awesome about Twitter... Coldplay still, as they once said, rules the world. :) I forgot to mention the spraypainting during In My Place... I loved it! Hopefully this is a sign of things to come on the tour.
  3. My goodness... what a crowd! You could tell Chris was loving every minute of it. This was definitely the most excited I've seen him so far during this festival run. Since this is the last show for this run that we'll get to see broadcast, it's only fitting that it was so epic!
  4. Hope someone is prepared to record the stream... apparently there won't be a replay, so this is the only chance!
  5. 10 hours to go... Brazil, I'm counting on you! Heinrich shall lead the way! :D
  6. No... it's whenever the main riff is played (which is four times). You know, the part where Chris always asks everyone to jump. :) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl-pTejqra8]Coldplay - Charlie Brown (Live on Letterman) - YouTube[/ame] For example... in this video, the main riff is the part that plays from :31-:57. It's repeated three additional times throughout the song.
  7. That's what I'm talking about... you could be the guy I'm counting on! :D
  8. Bump for our Brazilian friends... I'm counting on you guys to get this started on Saturday!
  9. It is disappointing... but as many have said, we still haven't heard the studio versions of many of these songs yet. Plus, I never heard Princess of China... and I don't want to, either. Just one more song to be surprised with. :)
  10. I've made us an official badge now... print it out and wear it to any Coldplay concert you attend! Spread the word! I'm going to make this thing a craze, I tell you! I've even mentioned the Charlie Brown dance to the Oracle... I'd be thrilled if my comments got posted! Then this thing would really take off. :D
  11. I'm surprised many of you are complaining about the crowd... I couldn't believe so many people knew the lyrics to the newer songs! That's the first time I've seen that. Surely, some of them had to be Coldplayers. I didn't notice anyone doing the Charlie Brown dance... but it's still early. It'll catch on soon. :D Did any of you that were there do it, though? :)
  12. That. Was. AWESOME. I can't wait for someone to upload this so I can have it forever. Those last five minutes, the unpredictable setlist... WOW! :D
  13. It'll be on TV here, so I'll be looking. I would be absolutely thrilled... you don't even know!
  14. It is indeed... thank you for the wonderful title. :) No foot is foreign at a Coldplay concert... only fields that missionaries go in. That's what someone pointed out earlier in this thread... if nothing else, this could be a great way for us to recognize each other.
  15. I hope there's a lot of Coldplayers at the next concert... I'd love to see if this starts to take effect there. :D
  16. How? That doesn't make sense.
  17. When this gets big, just remember who started it all. :P
  18. That's another aspect of it... I didn't even think about that. Easy way to spot someone from our fine community. Let's do it, everyone! P.S. I didn't put this in the Charlie Brown subforum because I was afraid not enough people would see it. I'm serious... I really want to get this thing going at concerts. Can you imagine Chris noticing it?
  19. So ever since I first heard Charlie Brown, I've noticed how you just have to jump around during the main riff. Well, I've done the Cha Cha Slide many times (since I can't dance, it's like the only dance I can do since you're given all the instructions ), and I thought it would be awesome to do the Charlie Brown dance in that song during the main riff in Coldplay's song. It's not hard... there's nothing to it at all. I'm totally doing it at the concert, and I think it would be the coolest thing ever if I could start that up as a tradition amongst us Coldplayers. Who knows... maybe it would spread to people who aren't on this site! So who's with me? :D In case you don't know, here's how you do it (go to 4:35): [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXJVQHz0UZU]The Cha Cha Slide - YouTube[/ame]
  20. Do a Google image search of her... you'll thank me later. :D
  21. Hmm... so it looks like I don't have to stay away from the rest of the pre-tour shows if this keeps up. I'm very happy they didn't play Up In Flames or Don't Let It Break Your Heart, because I don't want to hear those until Mylo Xyloto is out into the world. Really, the one thing I wanted to see was how Paradise sounds live (and I did, despite missing this concert because of work... thank you, YouTube!). It obviously isn't as good as the studio version, of course... but I think they did pretty good, all things considered. It'll be a nice concert song.
  22. I echo all the other thoughts about Up In Flames... if Will's going that crazy over it, then it must be amazing.
  23. I'll be working while this is going on... but if I find out they played these two songs, I won't watch a recording of it. I've enjoyed hearing new stuff, but I've had enough now. I want to save the rest for the album... so I might have to take a leave of absence from Coldplaying if that happens. Nothing against you guys, of course... I just don't want to know anything else. :)
