Coldplay to perform at iHeartRadio festival 19-09-2014
Ink grew on me after a few listens, but it's still near the bottom when it comes to ranking the GS songs. That said, most of Coldplay's songs sound just as good live as they do on the albums. Tonight, Ink didn't. I think the biggest thing was that Will's drums didn't sound as... powerful, or whatever. The drum beat is like the trademark of Ink.

Five songs... nice! More than I expected. Always to good to see the best band in existence play for us. :) I am stunned they played Ink, though. Honestly, it sounded pretty lame live.

NFL to Coldplay: Pay to Play the Super Bowl
I have dreamed of seeing Coldplay do the Super Bowl halftime show... this is amazing that they're in the final three! The pay to play thing is really stupid, but I hope this all gets sorted out because I would absolutely love to see them play. Especially if my Panthers make it... I can't even imagine the Panthers and Coldplay (two things I love more than anything) at the same Super Bowl!

Rate Atlas - and post your review
First off... YAY A LEAK SO I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW :D But about the song itself. Is Atlas on the legendary level of Clocks, Paradise, and Moving to Mars? Not quite. But it's right below it. If there was a 9.5 on the poll, I'd have picked that. Yet again, our beloved Coldplay delivers another epic. But are we really surprised? We've come to expect greatness like this from these guys. I just love Coldplay. :)

Coldplay will release track "Atlas" from "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" soundtrack on 6/8 Sept
This constant trolling we're suffering is just adding to the epic buildup... because of that, I dare say that this is one of the most-anticipated Coldplay songs of all time. :laugh3:

MYLO'S BIRTHDAY
What I was doing one year ago tonight: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89868 Jonathan will be coming up here once again tomorrow as we celebrate MX's one-year birthday. :D

Happy birthday, Paradise!
It was one year ago today that the best song on Mylo Xyloto (and one of Coldplay's best songs ever) was released for the world to hear. A lot of you hated it (for reasons I'll never understand), but I'll never forget the first time I heard it. I was completely blown away... almost numb after hearing it. That opening minute remains to this day one of the most amazing things my ears have ever heard.

For their live performance, you can likely expect Us Against the World... everyone seems to be doing softer, acoustic songs because of the mood of the show.

Paradise (African style)
Are you kidding me? Tell me you wouldn't want to stand on a cliff with a breathtaking view and play your own version of Paradise on the piano. It's every level of epic.
