Hi Imke! :nice: Just Say Yes is going to be on a best of that's coming out next month, along with 2 other new songs (there are samples of them a page or two back). Eyes Open and AHMS are awesome! Now you must get Final Straw! Has the incredible songs How To Be Dead, Chocolate and RUN! They're all great, really!

 Thanks! Lola, right? I'm Jen :nice: Loved your spoiler! :P It would be very, very cool if Muse came back for a proper tour.... would make sense, too, with the new album out. and so glad you had a great time at the show!! Thanks! Yeah, I really don't mind having the nosebleed seats. I actually got to see U2 on the Elevation Tour, and the claw is soooo massive, I'm pretty sure it'll be a good show no matter where I'm sitting! Plus, like you said, with floor tix, you've got to worry about the queue, and I'm coming in from out of town so it'd be difficult to get there early. Anyway, thanks for the good wishes! I'm sure it'll be awesome and I'll come back here with my report! :D

I blew my concert ticket budget on seeing Coldplay 3 times this year, so I could only swing seated tix... and WAAAAAYYYY up at the top, too. :\ I'm going with some friends who are huuuuge Muse fans and they've got floor tickets. Basically, I'm just excited to be in the room! I'm so excited... Muse/U2 is an awesome combo! Plus, it's at the ridiculously ginormous new Cowboys Stadium, so it'll be cool to check that out, too!

@Johku- Yes, I could order it from a UK/European site, but I think I'm with Bianca, I don't really need the vinyl (cool to have, but I'd never get to use them) so I'll probably just get the CD + DVD set. AND, I'll probably just have my hubby buy it for me for xmas! :D

I completely agree about US of Eurasia and Guiding Light. I quite like the rest of the album, though. And Exogenesis is just really great. Though, I agree with the critique I've heard a few times... they maybe should have formed the whole album w/ Exogenesis as its centerpiece. It almost seems tacked on to the end as it is now. But I still love it. ;) And... I SEE THEM TOMORROW!!:dance::dance:

The SP forum is definitely a lot different from coldplaying. It doesn't feel as easy to just jump into to me, but most of the people I've chatted with there seem really nice. And Michael, did your friend bail on you after all? Will you have someone to go to the show with? I actually met up with a couple of girls from the SP forum who happened to be in town for the show. They were able to line up starting at 1 pm, and they saved me a spot and we ended up with front row center! EDIT: Oh, and Kimmi- I  The Planets Bend Between Us! gah. I'm soo jealous of you guys who have radio stations who actually play SP (or even Coldplay, for that matter). There are some great radio stations here, but there are definite gaps. No station that I know of advertised the SP concert and the ONLY SP song I EVER hear on the radio is Chasing Cars. Hi Johku! :nice: Welcome to the SP thread! I'll be getting something, just not sure about the collection set yet. In fact, if I recall correctly, I THINK I heard that it's not going to be available for purchase in the US because the band's management didn't think it would sell here. :(

 thanks! And I completely agree with you and lndnsky- Gary writes some awesome lyrics! Fair enough about Crack the Shutters! ;) But as far as feeling like a worse fan, I think that's rubbish. Just because you came a little later to the party (and I definitely did, too!) doesn't make you/us less of a fan. You know A LOT about SP, from what I've seen. A mainstream or casual fan, I think, would only know their singles. You sound like a true fan to me! :D I'm still trying to get more into them... for example, I don't have any of their pre-Final Straw albums. That'll be my next task! I don't know if any of you are on the SP forum (actually, kimgan, I've seen you there, I think!), but Gary just posted a short little note on there yesterday. It's under the SP General forum... thread title is something like "The Goose is Getting Fat" :D btw, I feel bad not knowing your names, guys. I'm Jen. :nice:

awww... people seem to hate Crack the Shutters... I love it! Eyes Open was also how I started with SP. But I agree, each album is full of incredible songs. And judging from the short samples we've been given, their new stuff will be just as good, if not better! @kimgan, that's so cool that you're learning to play those songs! I wish I could play guitar. I can rock Guitar Hero (and Take Back the City on RockBand!) but I've never tried an actual real guitar :P For me, Gary playing solo for the beginning of Run was one of the highlights of gig I saw Tuesday!

Eyes Open is my favorite album (so far!), too. I love them all, really, but I love EVERY song on Eyes Open. How about everyone else? (sorry, I'm sure that's been covered before, but humor me so I don't have to read back through pages of posts! :P)

Cool, thanks! I've got Sirius on my satellite tv, but I hadn't heard any promos for it. I'll set my DVR! :) Good luck finding tickets... that would be incredible!

What artist can't you stop listening to today?
^Damien Rice is quite excellent, Christina! for me, I've got Snow Patrol on constantly right now, as I just saw them Tuesday.

Christa- isn't that the new remake of that old mini-series, "V"? I haven't seen the commercial, but I think that might be it. Uprising seems like it would be a good fit! Have you heard anything more about the Muse-related thingy (was it an interview?) that you said was going to air on Sirius?

The Beatles
Aw, I love George. His songs are all so great and really different... from "Within You Without You" to "Here Comes the Sun"... Plus, I love his sense of humor. Remasters. I've got the originals (only on CD, not vinyl) and they're OK, but the remasters are def superior. It's awesome, isn't it?? Happy Birthday, John
