There's always hope to change damage that's been done. I remember how in my freshman year of high school, I would sneak albums by giving money to a friend of mine, who would then go buy what I wanted, then give it to me before school. I was a sneaky kid. My parents were really bad about keeping me from listening to stuff for the longest time. I wasn't allowed to listen to modern music at all. I remember how my mom refused to buy me Muse's "Absolution Tour" DVD because she took offense to the word "atheist." She wouldn't even listen to my explanation that the song in question is about the exact opposite of what she was thinking. :| Anyway, I ended up finding what I wanted on my own eventually, and I turned out just fine, so there ya go.
