Haha, I was quite the opposite initially. After seeing them support Vampire Weekend, I went and bought their album the day it came out and haven't stopped listening to it since! Although, I can relate to you in how I felt with Boy and Bear... I liked them at first but they didn't blow me away. And then I got the EP. :P

Ahaha I've been in that situation before! :P I don't think there's much you can do, but just sit there mulling over the awesomeness and hope sleep eventually comes :P I used to just look at all my photos and videos again and again and again until it got too hard to keep my eyes open...

Thanks for sharing! Great vid :awesome: I want a submarine with disco lights now :wacky: Haha I wish! Even if I could these stupid end-of-year exams are keeping me far too busy :disappointed: I'm just enjoying looking at everyone else's interpretations of the Evangelist.

HEY WE'RE ON PAGE 100 :awesome: OK so my top three... 1. Cloud Control - Bliss Release 2. Angus and Julia Stone - Down the Way 3. Seabellies - By Limbo Lake 3rd spot there was hotly contended by Seabellies, Tame Impala and The Holidays. But Seabellies and The Holidays are more my 'style' and I feel like Seabellies just have something that The Holidays are lacking in their sound (don't ask me what it is though). I think Gypsy and the Cat could have made it here too if their album had come out a little earlier. Anyway, I'm seeing a common denominator here...

Oh right :P Well that does make sense and it will make things a lot quicker. I think I want to give all my Aussie albums another listen before I make any final decisions... when's the deadline for this?

Good plan. The three I'll add to the list are: Hungry Kids of Hungary - Escapades Seabellies - By Limbo Lake Gypsy & the Cat - Gilgamesh (I'm kinda picking this one in blind faith :P) I think we can all pretty much see the standouts in the list, though.

Still here, but studying :P I've still got 3 weeks of uni left! I'm planning on going into the city tomorrow to get those two albums, now I'm really looking forward to giving them a listen! Seeing as last night was Powderfinger's last ever gig, I'm dedicating today to listening to them :P I'm so happy I could be there last night! Bernard didn't make as big a deal about it being their last gig as I thought he might, because the last two shows they played he kept mentioning it... but I think he was either in denial, scared he was going to lose his cool on stage, or both :P Either way, they will be dearly missed! Before we get into the serious discussion of things, maybe we should make a list of all the albums up for discussion... here's what's in my library, if anyone has anything to add please do :nice:: Angus & Julia Stone - Down the Way Basement Birds - Basement Birds Children Collide - Theory of Everything Cloud Control - Bliss Release Dead Letter Circus - This is the Warning Gypsy & the Cat - Gilgamesh The Holidays - Post Paradise Hungry Kids of Hungary - Escapades John Steel Singers - Tangalooma Julia Stone - The Memory Machine Little Red - Midnight Remember Miami Horro - Illumination Midnight Juggernauts - The Crystal Axis Seabellies - By Limbo Lake Tame Impala - Innerspeaker Who have I missed? :P

Tea with milk or without?
If you're going to try it without milk, I suggest you add an extra sugar... that's what I did and now I only drink it without milk :P I drink all sorts of tea, all without milk and sugar, except chai which I have with lots of milk and honey :hippy::wacko:

When you think of it, there have been/will be a LOT of big bands touring Oz this year... Metallica, Bon Jovi, U2, ACDC, Muse, Gorillaz, Linkin Park, not to mention bands that are big on the alternative scene coming out for festivals and such... not a bad year for live music in Oz, really... Let's hope this epicness continues!
