Whoah, I totally forgot for a moment there wasn't an equivalent to Sunset Sounds in Sydney!!! Haha. Brisbane's awesome, you should definitely come here more often! :P I think I'm going to wait and see what the BDO lineup's like (3 weeks or something til it's released, I think?) and reassess the situation. Unless it sells out before then. But at the moment I'd only really be going for Klaxons, Interpol and The National; and even though they're all AWESOME, if someone like Arcade Fire are going to come out for BDO then that's the obvious choice for me. Edit: AND the Middle East, of course!

Haha, so I was! Hmm, not so sure about the broadband network. I mean, it would be fantastic and all, but shouldn't we perhaps be paying off the debt from the last government..?

It's tempting, but if I even want to consider going to big day out it's off the cards, because I can't really afford to go to both at this stage. I'm hoping I'll be able to get as lucky as (hopefully) with Parklife and go and work there, but I suppose I'll have to see. In other news, I'm trying for U2 tix tomorrow! Wish me luck! Also, this weekend is Valley Fiesta! It's free so I'm going both nights with friends (which is possibly a stupid idea seeing as I have exams next week, but meh). Tomorrow night I'm seeing Last Dinosaurs; Saturday night is The Boat People, John Steel Singers and Jinja Safari. Plus whatever random festivities there are. Shall be an epic weekend!

^^ I actually didn't really like Antidotes that much. But I fell in love with TLF straight away, I first heard it playing in a music store and asked who it was, and bought the album immediately. To me it has a lot more depth to it than Antidotes, though after seeing songs from Antidotes played live they've grown on me :P Anyway, I can't stop listening to this band!! It's ages since I've been so addicted to a band, it's scaring me :P And I love the lyrics in the album, some of them are so dark but pretty.

I'm yet to download it... now I'm thinking I might not.

I just discovered that it's only four weeks before my mid-semesters, and that houses get leased out really quickly around here! :sad:
