oh, i'm afraid of birds in general since i was a little kid....& if you've seen the video where Jonny's telling about his fear of sheep, then i kinda had a similar experience. 'cept it involved some frigging huge (from my perspective at the time) Aussie emus who were hard up for my bag of bird feed. so i now hate birds & am scared enough of them that i will not go anywhere near a bird. if i see a bird fly & land in my walking path, i will detour just to make sure i don't go near the evil buggers. ..................but i'll eat a cooked bird still. cos that's the only good bird, imo. :P

i've never actually seen a parrot fly freely around in Singapore, so i'd say "no". there's loads of mynahs roaming around tho & they're a handful too...i once left my table (& yet-to-be-eaten food) at an open air coffeeshop for a split second to grab a spoon & next thing i know the mynahs were picking food from my plate! *faints* ...& i happen to be afraid of birds. :uhoh: btw, sounds like your father got some really clever but mischievious parrots to be able to escape from their cages often to wreck havoc. ;)

was out of the house when most of the action was happening, but the live blog updates, pics & all were really great stuff! :) thank you to Anchorman & the crew & the band for taking the effort to do this! & here's to more such stuff to come yet! :D

i can't speak for Chris & the Coldplay guys, obviously, but i personally have never tried any drugs in my lifetime...& i don't intend to ever. my closest friends also all share the same view/non-experience with drugs. not meaning to be a prat, btw...i just didn't agree with what i perceived is a generalisation about teens & drugs. as for Noel...jeez, yeah, what a waste of a lot of money! & what a statement to make about drugs & it being cool if you're in a rock band...totally wrong message there as a role model for youths. unless his contradictory statements are intended as an example of how drug usage fries your brain... :P

love the whole butterfly theme in the new designs so far! :D & the live album version of Clocks just came on as i was reading thru this thread. so my Winamp notifier showed the album cover with the green butterfly on it....what a coincidence. heh

oh, i didn't know that! guess it's a good thing i sold off my 1st Gen iPod touch when i did last month then. tho i recently got an iPhone 3G instead from a rather generous parent, i.e. mum paid for 50% of the cost & it's currently being used by dad until he gets bored of it. the shop i got it from did the upgrade & all for me too. i have yet to make use of Cydia to get stuff off it...but knowing me, it's just a matter of time. else so far so good & am quite happy with it...& it helps heaps that i'm on a monthly unlimited data plan already. :P else i cringe to think what my phone bill would look like with the reliance of just about 90% of the apps on a 3G/Internet connection... my major snag will be the warranty as i will be in UK for at least 1yr soon & the iPhone's warranty is only valid in Singapore, where i got it. :(

yeah, it isn't really performing up to the massive hype around their comeback & all. so i don't think Coldplay needs to worry at all...tho i don't think they do. & Bono has said that it's the "youngsters" like Coldplay & The Killers that U2 are worried about these days. but i did like the new album as a whole, personally...maybe because the music sounds familiarly U2, like Magnificent or No Line On The Horizon. tho there are also songs on it i don't like outright, like Get On Your Boots.

nice work! i like the coloured design on the butterfly a little bit more & also like the subtle(?) splotches on the bottom. :)

to be honest, i find that the opening time for the box office has been rather inconsistent so far - i was told by the TicketMaster staff it'll be open at 12PM instead (& i think some others have been told the standard "1hr before gates open"). i'd say the best bet would be either to just show up as early as you can manage or call them up again a day or two before the gig day to double confirm on the opening time.

oh, snap. that's a bit of a bad news about the tee, esp. for all those who worked on the project & all the effort put into it. :( but hopefully we can still make a sea of yellow tees in Wembley regardless...even if it's different designs. maybe it'll be more interesting or eye catching with this mix...

yeah, the others were quite an interesting read too. like how the guy from The Script says he's actually scared for Coldplay with U2 now back in the game with the new album. & i liked how the guy from Beastie Boys throws in an off tangent answer with Hugh Jackman "He can sing, he can dance, he can be Wolverine. methinks this should be posted as an event on Facebook too - once details are finalised, no? that's one way to keep track or just see who's going or may be going.
