oh gawd! i hate it when stuff like this happens! worser still if there were anyone who couldn't get a copy because somebody had managed to get not just 1-2 extras, but 10!!! i can't imagine that the seller handily had like 10 other friends who went to the gig & didn't want the CDs... :inquisitive:

ah, thanks for that Pai! i can now sleep in peace...hahaha i had this feeling at the back of my head that it's not from Singapore, but i just couldn't quite identify why in the first place..................& it was getting on my nerves cos i kept thinking about what's different since i heard it until now.

i dual boot between WinMCE05 & Ubuntu 9.04 on my PC loving Ubuntu............'cept that the support for sound cards is shiet & i had to live with no sound on 8.10 on both my onboard sound & the PCI sound card. then i made a gamble to update to 9.04, which has now gifted me with sound! hurray!!! but, oh wait, i've got no sound at all on sites like YouTube & i only can have sound on 1 application at any time. :thinking: hence, the WinMCE05 will remain as my primary OS for now.

heh...he does, actually! now that you mention it... i don't really know whether a firm decision's been made, but that was the direction things seemed to be headed. granted Ferrari's in a mess right now & i was tempted to think "sore losers already?", but from what i've gathered, they are not alone now on threatening to quit F1.

i haven't really been following American Idol, but the few times i saw it & this Adam guy was on, i got the feeling that he's got like just the same kind of look & way/style of singing...like some emo guy wannabe. :rolleyes: & i couldn't sit thru his rendition of 'One' for that matter...urk.

for those who've gone to Coldplay's concerts for this tour, does Chris do the prolonged "ooooh...." for 42? i remember he did it in Singapore, but i somehow feel that the recording in this album isn't from Singapore. in fact, i think Strawberry Swing is more likely from Singapore (or not at all).

you should be able to see where your default folder for saved files go in Tools >> Option (Firefox) & for Internet Explorer, the default is usually your My Documents folder. else just try & download another file but make sure you note where the file will be saved to before you cancel it (there's no need to download the file all over again). that should be where your download of the album went.

same here. i was actually quite surprised that they got to me so fast. i dare say it's the fastest online purchase i've ever received from the US.

it's not really "new" per se...he's just improvising with the location. e.g. for the Singapore gig he sang "Come up to Singapore..." for the opening line of The Scientist instead of the usual line.

great to have a good crystal clear recording of Will singing in Death Will Never Conquer. when i heard him sing in Singapore my 1st thought was "hey! he sings really well!" tho it wasn't very clear. oh & i think that Strawberry Swing is from Singapore. but i'm not 100% certain on that. i'm only basing my guess on the crowd diligently clapping in time thru pretty much the whole song (cos i definitely still remember doing that all throughout the song :p )...admitedly i may actually be dead wrong.

hi there! :) GA pit tix = General Admission tix, usually means standing room only - depending on the venue but i'd be wary about buying from eBay...i'd imagine that it's overpriced (i.e. scalpers' rate). but that's really up to you how much you're willing to fork out for it. also, if it's COD with you & the seller meeting up in person in advance of the gig to deal for the ticket it would be less risky compared to if the seller insists that you pay up first then the ticket will be sent to you later.

i've always gone for concerts (incl non-Coldplay bands) not knowing the setlist...just personally like it more when the band plays a song that i love when i was least expecting it

actually, i think Malaysians are closet Coldplay fans. :P or at least my circle of friends anyway. i never knew that any of them even liked Coldplay's songs until they found out i went for the concert in Singapore cos it was all over my Facebook, including photos i took. then suddenly i have some of them going "OMG!!! you saw Coldplay live??? So lucky!!! How was it??? Was it great???" but then i'm not the kind who would openly declare what/who i'm a fan of myself either. it's only when someone mentions it & if they seem genuinely enthusiastic enough, then i'll be like "oh yeah? me too!" & then the ball gets rolling from there... :)

i was just wondering...but does anyone know why the blue ones only come in 20s? i like the blue-y ones. just that i don't think i'll need like 20 of them.
