  1. ^ ROTFL & that picture by Miss Lestrade is too cute...made my day!
  2. oops...dbl post
  3. haha...great! then you can enjoy the sales around town & all the great food! only thing is it's still as hot here in KL as it is in Singapore... *sigh*
  4. errrmmmmm..........now i have to ask, who's Meet Uncle Hussain? my knowledge of Malaysian rockers are limited to Jason Lo & OAG...which are like from ages ago. (showing my age) been a while since i went to see a movie in Singapore & sat at the couple seat, but don't they usually have a barrier kind of thing that you can raise or put down...depending on how close you want to get to each other? at least then you can still put that in between to avoid freaking the guy out.
  5. oyah, i know the issue now isn't the copyright...just thinking that it's ironic that after deciding on not to use any images which may bring up a copyright issue, the image chosen for the t-shirt still ended up running into issues due to the vectors thingy you mentioned.
  6. thank god for Coldplaying + Twitter then... tho i'll need a Twitter app for my WinMo phone (does any such thing even exist?) + a really good mobile plan with unlimited mobile broadband & heavy duty phone batt...heh *puts thinking cap on & fingers in the triangle of evil contemplation pose*
  7. i actually called up Ticketmaster in UK to try & see if i could do the opposite. :P & i got the follow up email from them too about the delivery. cos i'm coming in from Malaysia where post has been known to go missing & i'll be in London by 11 Sep. i thought i'd get them to deliver it to me instead if it can be sent out earlier than the stated 5-7 days before the gig. as Mimixxx has already pointed out, this isn't possible. the girl i spoke to even recommended that i leave my ticket to be picked up at the box office, particularly cos of 1 significant detail also - GA (standing/level 1) tickets will not be reissued in the case that they somehow get lost, be it cos you lost it or the postal/courier service screwed up. the other thing i'm now left wondering is whether the GA tickets issued will have specific gates printed in which case i wouldn't know if where i'm queueing is the right gate/area. i was told i can only pick up the ticket from 12pm onwards on the actual day & i was planning to go in the morning. :\
  8. oops...my bad. sorry about the confusion. i re-read the instructions i had about converting AAC to MP3 on Audacity & it's way too roundabout a way to do it - i.e. it involved burning the AAC as an Audio CD, then re-ripping the file to WAV in iTunes before converting to MP3 on Audacity. do-able, but not a good fast option.
  9. double posted... :embarassed:
  10. Audacity should be able to convert AAC to MP3...haven't tried it myself since i don't have any AAC files.
  11. who in the world are they tho? some melayu rocker band? :inquisitive:
  12. who me? yesssssqueeeee :) it's on the weekend just before i move into uni halls & i somehow managed to get a ticket! couldn't have asked for a better kick off to my studies in UK...
  13. hmmm....i wonder how Coldplay going all GNR would sound like....
  14. woohoo!!! just 4mths to go now...til Sep. :D & i finally told my parents that i'm going for the concert...to my unexpected surprise, they were all cool about it & the fact i'm going alone. or maybe it's cos they don't realise which "Wembley" in London i was referring to... :dozey:
  15. don't forget the guitar picks....the drumsticks...the video ball thingamajigs...the sound mixers/audio consoles... actually, i'm kinda curious as to what guitar picks & in-ear monitors they use.......weird as it is. :p
  16. dunno about the hand sanitiser thing, but the illness bit is fairly accurate since it was announced on the band's website in relation to a gig needing to be postponed. else i don't put much store on tabloid news either most days...
  17. thanks! :) yeah, poor Edge...i was all "awww" when i saw that video on YouTube. wonder if the Coldplay guys are any good/better at Guitar Hero? :P actually, i kinda felt that when it did rain, it felt even hotter after the rain's gone... :(
  18. ah...Triple J...my radio was always tuned to them when i was at uni down under. & Triple J was where i discovered good Aussie stuff like Powderfinger. :) so...yeah, i'm game to plonk my vote in for Coldplay too when it's open.

the butterflies are salvaged by fans after seeing them rain down from the skies during Lovers In Japan...need to make sure that the poor leaf blower(s) doesn't have to work so hard. ;) but yeah, it's quite a waste of paper...then again any form of confetti/balloon drop is a waste of paper/rubber. it's just that the effect, especially for the colourful butterflies, are really really really impressive & make for a fantastic photo op....imho.
  20. awww....plan c, even...& to think earlier on the concern was over copyrights issues at one point. yet here we are, stuck at getting a copyright friendly t-shirt design approved by the online shops. :(
  21. bring it on indeed...another month down after this weekend. :)
  22. gah...i'm like melting here. & doesn't help that i had to pack up my stuff in my room in the heat... :(
  23. so i've heard too. :P how much did you pay for yours? i got my copy from an online site (not eBay) & it cost me just shy of £25, incl the shipping cost from UK to Singapore.
