  1. This is such exciting news. :wacky: Thanks for posting the article! I think the graffiti and White Rose inspiration is pretty cool.
  2. Take Me Out is their most popular one. I'd recommend Walk Away, Darts of Pleasure, The Dark of the Matinée, and Ulysses. Eleanor Put Your Boots On is a nice one too.
  3. I love Lost? and the acoustic version of Viva la Vida they did for Stripped.

Yep. I stopped listening to them for several months after the VLV tour ended, but I've started listening to a few of their songs the past few weeks. Well, actually, more like only two of their songs. They're definitely creeping back in for me, though. I think once they announce the official release date of LP5, I'll be back into Coldplay mode. :P
  5. Alex Kapranos? He's the singer of Franz Ferdinand, and the guy in my avi. And in the far left picture of my sig. :awesome:
  6. Heh, thank you! :nice:  I really hope to catch them on their next tour.
  7. Who knows, maybe they really did say "f*cked". It would be pretty funny, especially since it's such a happy, sunny song.
  8. I would love to see them live. I watched a bunch of their live performances, and they're fantastic! It looks like so much fun too.
  9. Thanks! :D I'm obsessed with them now. :wacky: I wish I "discovered" their music a lot earlier, though. I've been missing out.
  10. HECK YES ALEX KAPRANOS Sorry. Back to Muse. :blank:
  11. We'll have an uprising of our own! :awesome: . . . I'm so punny. :shame: That's true. I remember watching the MySpace stream of the Seattle gig, and the crowd let out a huge cheer when Ruled by Secrecy started. I would love it if all the hardcore American Muse fans gathered for one Muse gig. :wacky:
  12. Thanks for posting the interview! That bothers me a bit. :blank: MUSCLE MUSEUM IS LIKE MY FAVORITE SONG DOM I CAN SING THE LYRICS IN MY SLEEP :snobby:
  13. You're right. It really matches the style of the music from back then. I love how he's still a fantastic live singer. :wacky: You're welcome. :nice: I think I'm in the middle with Muse's earlier songs and their newer music. Unintended and Sunburn are lovely. :D
  14. There's actually a thread about the Strawberry Swing thing here. Looks like it's Brian Eno saying "That's a bit fast." Something like that. I like studio noises. :D :escaping:
  15. Aw, no! Tastes change and all. At least you're now a Muser. :awesome: Although, I can see why some people would not like Matt's voice for other reasons. :uhoh: For me, I find his voice to be a little whine-y on the first three albums. When other singers sing like that, it bothers me so much. But with Matt, I really, really like it. :blank: Have a great time! Good luck on your exams too. :nice:
  16. I agree. Even though VLV is my favorite album, there's something more special and more emotional with AROBTTH. Heh, I know what you mean about "making another AROBTTH" vs. "new songs/possibly new styles." I personally really like the lyrics. I just can't listen to the studio version of Viva la Vida anymore since I hear it everywhere, but I LOVE the acoustic version they did for Stripped. The arrangement is gorgeous.
  17. I used to love Yes. I don't hate it, though!
  18. Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand (w/ bonus disc) Sigur Rós - Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust
  19. I thought the album was amazing and brilliant the first time I heard it (initial excitement, fangirling and all), but my opinion has changed after a year or so. (Probably because of reading other people's opinions on VLVODAAHF. :blank:) It's still a special album to me, and I still love Life in Technicolor, Chinese Sleep Chant, and Death and All His Friends. I'm glad that they wanted to try experimenting with new sounds.
  20. Yeah, I couldn't find them in the crowd either. Maybe that's because I was not expecting them to be at the awards at all, so it was such a nice surprise to see them (and Kirk!). When they got on stage, I kept thinking, "Go on, Matt, say something weird. :awesome:"
  21. That's totally Matt. I didn't really get the whole Darwin thing until people on Twitter and other online articles pointed that out. That's pretty hilarious of Tom. :D Heheh, yeah, the boys were probably having a good time just laughing at the others. :P
  22. More Muse for us, then. I want to know how they sat through those performances.
  23. Oh, Twilight fans. I watched the AMAs with my friends, and . . . seriously. I need to stop watching American music award shows like this. :dozey: But I seriously was not expecting Muse to actually be there. So when the camera showed Matt, Dom, and Tom getting out of their seats . . . Me: :o :cheesy:  :wacky: :freak: ZOMG THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED UP ASDFLJLKA;SDFJKLSL Non-Muser friends: :blank: Calm down.
