  2. Please let this be true. It's getting my hopes up.
  3. Simon! Thank you for the link! This will be interesting to listen to.
  4. What about the "Jingle Bells" video with Simon Pegg? :D Even though it was basically a live performance video.
  5. I think they've done one every year starting from 2004, except 2005. I poked around on YouTube and I couldn't find one from 2005. If they make one for this year, I can't wait to see it!
  6. Ah, I definitely did not know about that. Thanks for the correction! :)
  7. http://coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=527&page=20 Yep. The Simpsons episode is on January 14th. At least, according to Anchorman.
  8. 9 for "Shiver". "Don't Panic" is the song that made me realize Coldplay is something special.
  9. I'll admit that I have thought of the possibility of Guy leaving Coldplay for Apparatjik.
  10. YES. "Shiver" needs a lot more love. Seriously. I had one sort of spontaneous moment and adoration for Coldplay when I was listening to AROBTTH (on vinyl! :wacky:) two weeks ago. Near the middle of "The Scientist", I thought, "Wow. This is really, really beautiful and brilliant stuff." Recently, I've realized that Coldplay's songs aren't just "catchy" tunes. Many of their melodies and lyrics are simply amazing and heartbreakingly beautiful. I'm just awed by their talent. As for listening to their songs too much, I've been listening to Coldplay practically 24/7 for the past ten months and I haven't gotten tired of their music . . . yet.

Sweet. Thank you so much for the photos! :)
  12. I want those pencils! :wacky: But I have no money.

Does anyone know what the insert for the Prospekt's March EP had? I'd really like to know. Thanks!
  14. I agree! That was really cute. :nice: Violet Hill: I couldn't help giggling during Jonny's guitar solo when they're all gathered around the piano and were "violently" bobbing to the beat while Will banged on the keys. It was cute and amusing. So were the few seconds when Guy hopped up and down. :wacky: When Chris made his mouth bigger with the magnifying glass, I thought, "Wow. That's one of the weirdest, creepiest, and ugliest things I've ever seen." The Scientist: I was creeped out from the first thirty seconds or so when Chris opens his eyes and stares at the camera. And no, I don't think Chris is weird-looking now. :P
  15. Gaaah, I am loving these interviews and articles! Thank you so much for posting them, Angie! It's so great to read them and see how much Coldplay has grown.
  16. Here's my random thought. I think it would be pretty darn cool if Coldplay performed at the opening or closing Olympic ceremonies in London. Unless they're touring or they have something against the Olympics. I don't know. :P
  17. And huzzah for another blog from Roadie #42. :D It's great to see an update.
  18. Haha, I love how Chris just writes his ideas literally all over the place. This is all just too exciting. I really can't wait for what's in store the next few years.
  19. And yes please, I would really like to see this movie. REALLY.
  20. That video is ridiculously adorable. Thanks for posting! I'm imagining a young Will listening to that song; so cute. :D
  21. As for who is the biggest band, that would probably be Coldplay. I don't think many of my peers really know who Radiohead is, which kinda sucks.
  22. I'm very sure it's a thumbs down because of the article, and not because of you. :) No worries! I'm no music expert, but I'm getting pretty tired of Coldplay being compared to Radiohead. Yes, Coldplay's earlier stuff is quite similar to Radiohead's, and Chris has said they have influenced Coldplay . But I find their current styles to be very different from each other. I don't really see how you can really compare them today. Oh, and both are pretty darn amazing bands. :D
  23. Well, that definitely makes the job of trying to find the Jonny-zombie and Chris-zombie in Shaun of the Dead a lot easier. Thanks for the link to the interview!
  24. You can find the English translations of the questions if you click on "more info" in the gray box on the right side. :) I burst into laughter from watching the video of Chris attacking the yellow balloons and rolling around. Can he be any more adorable? Keep the videos coming!
