Will Mylo Xyloto leak? ** EFFECTIVE 16-10 LINKS NOT PERMITTED ** (PART I)
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpbpuoQ9wvg]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpbpuoQ9wvg[/ame] Just to clarify before you watch, this isn't the studio version. But while searching for a leak I came across this, and I honestly thought it was, so I clicked it. CHRIISSSTTTT it's the best out there, I got intense butterflies, and I'm sure the most of you will. The crowd sounds are barely audible in the beginning, ,but you can tell by his voice and guitar it's live. And really...I'd have to make sure one of the members of coldplay jizzed on it.

Will Mylo Xyloto leak? ** EFFECTIVE 16-10 LINKS NOT PERMITTED ** (PART I)
How about freezing yourself until the album's released? I know people considered that a couple months ago. Wonder if they did, that's why the forum's gone all quiet...

The Big Ol' Fake Leak Thread; Mop Required
I completely understand. I still do that, I did it with Kasabian's album and Laura Marling's album, it's a great feeling to be walking along and holding those songs you just bought. I can't say I'll be doing it with MX as I've pre-ordered the vinyl edition, but I'll still have something to sit and hold, I can't imagine not. All of my favourite albums, I have some sort of physical copy of somewhere.

Paradise is amazing
Yeah I see where you're coming from. I don't know what everyone's saying about Hip Hop and it sounding like a OneRepublic song...the drums aren't electronic at all, I mean maybe there's a small underlying part, but all I'm hearing is just the kit playing the beat, it just so happens to be a sort of drum machine style loop...think Phil Selway on Radiohead's experimental albums? A lot of the time (especially TKOL) it's not really electronic drums.

Paradise is amazing
Aye maybe it is, you never know. But it does annoy me a bit, so does that harmony, like when he goes "the stormy skies", it's just such a cliche! :L

Paradise is amazing
From 3:00 to 3:08, it's not very loud but when you hear it first, you can't not notice it. For some reason it annoys me that bit...

Is a MX EP Possible?
I don't want an Ep, just MORE B SIDES!!!!! See, i'm an old fashioned guy.

Paradise is amazing
I really like Paradise. Initially I hated it I think that the first verse's melody seems rushed, as if he's making a big effort to put it all in that one space. And I don't like that bit when you can hear people clapping. But I love the general feel, it makes me think of a clammy, futuristic small metal lab in the middle of this jungle on some alien planet, with big red pterodactyl sort of birds and blue...a lot of blue.

Just two things about Mylo Xyloto length
Or...get this...maybe they're just random numbers put there for the artwork effect??????? And anyway, check the wikipedia page, it begs to differ about all of these assumptions.

Martin has still got it
I didn't understand a word of this, but judging from the comments...should I be worried about something?

Rihanna can sod off
I feel like the only one who's absolutely not bothered about Rihanna being on the song, I'm quite looking forward to hearing it, I think she'll add a nice touch to it.

Rate 'Moving To Mars' now!
I gave it 3. I don't like the song that much, the bit when the drums come in at first, the countdown section, Martin's voice once everything comes in, the harmony, the strings, unoriginal (in coldplay sense). The only thing I like is when it changes to F major (instead of F minor) and the Tierce de Pichertie (or whatever you call it) at the end. I much prefer all the other songs from this era, especially Every Teardrop, Hurts LIke Heaven and Paradise.

A Possibility that would make Paradise more enjoyable
haha yass, I'm in someone's sig! But yeah it's happened to me about 7-10 times! I hate it, cause you then don't know what everyone else thinks of what you say!

A Possibility that would make Paradise more enjoyable
Oh come on, another thread that starts to die after I post something????

A Possibility that would make Paradise more enjoyable
Yeah it can be easily done. I frequently play jazz (it's one form of music I pretty much live for) and it shifts between major and minor all the time. Of course it is more common to see a piece to shift from major to relative minor, here's a chord sequence example... D, G, D, A, D, G, A, A, F#, F#, Bm, Bm, E, G, A, D (comas are a bar) If anyone bothers to play this, this is clearly a change from major (D major) to it's relative minor (B minor). I'm not sure if Coldplay used this at all, but it's used a heck of a lot in pop songs, and it's one of my favs! :)

Favorite Album of the day
Brett Anderson's new record, Black Rainbows. It's awesome, not too Suede-ey and very atmospheric indeed.

Who else is pissed that this didn't make it on the MX track listing?
I feel like I'm the only one who's not really that fussed about it. Didn't really do anything for me when I first heard it and I really don't think it would have worked on the traclkist.

We've heard too many songs.
HERRRRRRRPPPPP I honestly don't mind, I think the versions will be a bit different form teh festivals I mean think of the sonic landscapes and everything, the songs will have much more depth to them.

Mylo Xyloto: 44.09 mins long? Songs time here.
What the hell is wrong with having an album with 14 tracks with short interludes?
