What I don't understand is why people are so against Coldplay's new "direction". Let's face it: their music has grown just as they have grown and just as we, their fans, have grown... do you really expect them to keep producing the same old records, using the same old tricks?! No, just like true musicians they search for ways to make their art different and pleasing in a more variety of ways. And if they employ the help of Eno to do it yet again, then so be it. I'm all for any direction they go in - they've never let me down before! And for the record, I thought X&Y was a gorgeous record; I simply loved how their music became more electric and not the same-old love ballads Coldplay had gained a reputation for in Parachutes & AROBTTH. Change is good; change makes progress and progress makes success. Viva La Vida had amazing songs with amazing new unique ideas - admittedly, a huge change from their generally stripped-down sound from Parachutes, but still positively gorgeous songs from a positively gorgeous band. :cool:

I'd love to get a tattoo on my wrist. Either a small butterfly, or a small 42. I mean, who knows if I'll still adore Coldplay 30 years from now? I'd like to think so, but you never really know what the future will bring. So a butterfly is a beautiful symbol anyway, which at the moment I get it will be associated with Coldplay with all my heart - but if anything happens between the band and I, the butterfly will still be a pretty thing to look at. xD 42, because it's my all-time favourite number. Well before the song came out. So, the song only adds to my love of the number. Though, it would be nerdy to have a tattoo of your favourite number... again, assuming I stop adoring Coldplay in the future. :P Or I could get a huge picture of Chris Martin's head on my stomach, and then hope that I find a husband who looks exactly like him. :D

Unfortunately; no! Previous concerts my parents said I was too young to go, and when the Viva tour rolled around I was GROUNDED. Gah! My life has been ruined - many, many times. At least, as many concerts they've had in Sydney since 2003. :P
