  1. Btw that article is absolute rubbish. Coldplay is making an uplifting album so why the hell would they show something depressing? And if they wanted to 'cash in' on the indian market they would've done so five years ago when the indian economy was doing well enough for people to afford expensive concert tickets. This person just seems to be pissed that she didnt get to meet the band and got shooed away by security.
  2. So I've finally decided to call it a day and head over to my brother's place in mumbai. My legs and back are killing me from standing since 12:30 pm (its now 10 pm)..but I got to see chris martin at least! I was trudging along a little disappointed towards a mall to grab some grub, and when I entered this mall, I saw this wonderful old man..probably in his 80s playing some really beautiful jazz standards on the piano..nobody was paying attention but he was enjoying it so much himself. I stood by and just listened for a few minutes and it was amazing. I went up to him and thanked him because he made a slightly disappointing evening much better. It puts things into perspective really. Yes, I do love coldplay and they're amazing, but I was waiting all day searching for that little bit of happiness from meeting them, and instead I got it out of the blue from this wonderful old man who was playing at the mall. :) Sorry if this sounds all mushy but it really was quite nice!
  3. @jc90 yup I saw chris martin come out of the lift in the hotel n go into a car. So they were parked here for sure. I hope they cm back :/
  4. @jc90 yeah I did but there's no concrete info about where they are now..just rumours..I think there's a better chance waiting outside the hotel
  5. Im still waiting at the hotel..to see if they return..been waiting for about four hrs now.. :(
  6. But he managed to get a pic with Chris yesterday..he also said that there were rats roaming around there and when the band noticed them they freaked out
  7. So one of the guys waiting with me here was at the shoot yesterday..but he got there when the shoot ended so he didn't get to hear the track
  8. Ah well..I wanted to update you guys about this a long time back but my battery had run out n I just found a place to charge my phone
  9. We called out and chris turned to say hi and even take a pic, but the security ushered him on before we could get there
  10. So I saw chris martin from about ten meters away, but the hotel security didn't let us meet him

  15. WHAAAAT okay, im a 100 kms away from mumbai, so i'm taking the first train out tomorrow morning. I'll try roaming around worli fort again tomorrow to see if i run into them by any chance. Do you know if shoots for music videos usually take more than a day?
  16. Happy Birthday Sparky!
  17. Count me in! Its my first time playing fantasy football, so I've kind of had a premonition of myself in the future going "Honestly, d'oh!"; so it makes sense to use that as my team name. I have a basic idea of how fantasy football works, but I might have a few doubts every now and then... :/
  18. and looking at the seating arrangement in the hall behind them, it looks like they might be recording a small orchestral ensemble. Remember that Davide Rossi was writing string and horn sections for them, but they probably wanted a real orchestra to play it for a more organic sound rather than multitracking Davide Rossi's violins and horns. But it could also just be a standard arrangement that the studio maintains to save the time when a recording session for an orchestra happens. I also have a feeling that these studios are being used to do the finals mixes/mastering of the tracks, and not recordings.
  19. Sorry, I don't mean to spam this thread; no more questions from me after this (not for a while at least :P): What question would you like to hear from us?
  20. If you had to choose between releasing a song that: 1. all of you are absolutely sure would work very well live, which the audience would love to sing along and dance to and would also be a lot of fun to play live, OR 2. a song that is cleverly composed, interesting, different, worked very hard upon and sounds amazing; basically one of the best songs that you guys ever made, but may not work as well in a live setting as the previous song would... What would you choose to release?
  21. Location: Pune, India. Favourite song: Fix You.

  23. So this new website design is what possibly came out from the "client meeting" that was tweeted a few weeks ago. Here's the link to that tweet:
