If the HMV in my area has a CD version then sure I will! If not then no. I don't really care for the CD version of singles, as long as I have the mp3, which of course I'll buy! :smug2:

I agree . I kind of wish they would've left most of them a mystery, but I have only heard Charlie Brown, Hurts like Heaven, ETIAW, Us Against the World, and Major Minus and that snippet of Paradise. Which are only six, and thats all I'm listening to till Oct 24th. I promised myself. So if you want it to be a mystery, then don't listen to anymore :wacky:

It's different. But I still am excited to hear the rest. Speaking of Violet Hill, I didn't really like it when I first heard it. I normally have to analyze a song fully to like it, its rare that Id like it the first time. But I love the lyrics. I can't wait :heart:

Haha, that is some mix. Maybe it doesn't sound like anything, just UIF, so it has its own sound. Its unique, the best songs are the unique ones. So who knows!?!? :smug2:

I kind of agree, it's out of place. But if you skip from Parachutes to Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, that sounds weird saying them together. I don't like the title, but maybe it has a really amazing meaning behind it, who knows.

I totally understand where you are coming from. It is very different from say Parachutes. I've been listening to Parachutes and realizing how beautiful they sounded before they became famous. But I guess they have to change a little with the times, in order to top charts. It is kind of sad, that they have to change, but all artists end up doing that. I think with this era and the Viva era they really tried making things different, testing it. People went crazy for VLV, so they are probably continuing the more up-beat music theme, thinking thats what people want.

I think I will like it, I don't think it'll take over my spot as my favourite album tho. They've changed a lot these past few years, but they still have a touch of the Coldplay-ness to it. And from what I've heard so far, they still got it, so hopefully the rest of songs turn out like that. I really can't wait :wacky:

I just saw a Coldplay interview from 2001, Chris reminds me of a more social (still shy) version of Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory. :thinking: Maybe I'm just tired . . .
