I think it's better than VLVODAAHF. It's got more of a contrast, from UFO to DLIBYH, or UIF to ETIAW. It might even be better than AROBTTH (not quite sure yet, still debating). It is a masterpiece, as all of Coldplay's albums are. This is different from all albums, and all albums are different from eachother. Thats what the world (and me!) like about Coldplay. They always have a different sound from every other artist out there. Now its getting more complicated with a more diverse music industry, finding something different is hard, but Coldplay managed to do it. And is was successful. So as Chris said, if you hate it, then burn it. Everyone is intitled to their own opinion, this was just mine.

Chris once said he wanted to finish off the Viva trilogy. This may only be the second album to the trilogy, but maybe once they finish the third, it'll truely be over. I love Coldplay A LOT, I have practically grown up listening to them, but look at mainstream music now. It's all teen pop stars or people talking about sex or drugs, no bands. People have bad taste now. If Coldplay want to be mainstream, it'll get harder, their chance is lessening every year. I think thats the way Coldplay sees it tooo. But on the other hand, Coldplay is better than good enough to break that barrier, they did do it with Viva. Also they might think they have to drastically change (some people think they did for this album) in order to break it, but what if they change too much? Wouldn't you rather them make a few good albums and finish than become sellouts? I think if they continue or not is based on how badly they want it. Because we have to remember they have families too and its not like they have to work they are wealthy. So, yeah, I don't know if I made any sense at all. I hope I did! I just didn't know how to word it all. I hope I got my point across atleast :/

8 - It has amazing songs, I just would like some more piano. And better titles. But in the end it is a great album and in my eyes it is NOT their worst... I actually think VLVODAAHF is. I don't know why. Its just my music taste :\

Even if this isn't the real deal, the real one is probably similar and we will hear it in a week (some will hear it in less time) so it doesn't matter. What does matter is that we have new Coldplay songs :heart:

I'm listening to it for the first time now :) I actually really like their lyrics this era, they did a really good job. I also like how they didn't do the sellout "faces plastered on album cover". The songs are catchy. It's loud and upbeat, it seems like a good beginning to something (or end :( ). And... ITS COLDPLAY :heart: They still have it :wacky:

I think I've started to really question what point they are trying to make with mx , but for some reason I still have faith . Isn't paradise about a little girl, a child ? Hence the costume ? I am trying to find an explanation but I just can't . It's just after vlvodaahf the world truly for once respected coldplay as the kings now I hope coldplay won't lose it , I'm not saying they would they have just grown to this whole new "level" .

He seems so down to earth, all of them do. It's weird thinking that people could walk past him and not recognize him. I would, but thinking of it if I ever did I wouldn't scream or anything, I think I'd be calm. I think it's just their welcoming personalities, they seem "normal" and I like it :smug:
