Coldplay MX comic panel at Comic-Con (13 July 2012)
Hmm, seems silly to pay 5.50 sending costs for a 4 euro comic, also why do you always need a credit card for these kinda things >.< So the only different thing for this comic than the ones that'll be released from february 2013 is the cover right?

Princess of China New Single? -Confirmed-
I like the acoustic version, but as to why choose the "overproduced" version, I actually like that version better, love the power of that version and that version goes better with rihanna's voice, the tempo of the song and with the lyrics imo and I think it fits better in the story on the album, especially because it's between two very quiet songs. So about the discussion of them choosing money over music, it IS a possibility that they actually thought the "overproduced" version is better or at least fits better on the album in this way.

[6-Sep-2012] Coldplay @ Malieveld, The Hague, Netherlands
Damn, I was hoping we wouldn't be competing for the same spots :( that sucks man, wonder how much vip tickets there are, it kinda sucks if people that queue for hours can only be 3d row just because some lazy rich people got in first, even if they're real fans, why can't they just get there early and run to get a good spot like everybody else.

[17-Dec-2011] Coldplay @ Ahoy, Rotterdam, Netherlands
It was great, the crowd was amazing. I was one of the first 10 so I got to test the glowbands^^ Had a brilliant time with Tash and Stefan and some other people. Although I really would've LOVED to see the soundcheck so much, but it doesn't matter much cause we had a great time and indeed saw Chris and Will and it's really great to see them just being casual, doing their thing before the concert. I think maybe they didn't play christmas lights because they didn't soundcheck and maybe they would've practiced it then otherwise. I did find it a bit short, but it was great anyway, I just hope the setlist is longer in the summer tour. But the glowbands were great, and the confetti aswell (although nothing beats the butterflies ;)) and I brought quite a lot of confetti home with me, and UATW was utterly brilliant, I love it when the crowd manages to surprise the band, even if it's used to a lot ^^

OMG I miss this, we should really just do this every year!

Tiësto Remix
As far as I know Coldplay doesn't hire DJs to do such stuff, DJs just remix songs they want to remix. So Coldplay really has nothing to do with it:P

[26-Oct-2011] Coldplay @ Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, Madrid, Spain (Please post your reviews pg 85
Yeah this, I'm actually pretty certain they'll play almost whole Mylo Xyloto, they did so with Viva, and I think they'll change the setlist around a bit aswell to pick songs that match with the new MX songs coming in and to keep it all fresh for themselves. And they couldn't have done it for this show because it was to soon and it's also to soon after the album came out so people wouldn't knjow the new songs well enough to play whole MX I can't really figure out what Anton Corbijn did for this show, I mean I loved the interview at the start but it just looked exactly like a regular coldplay show furthermore, and only the stage was different and the butterfly thing, nbut I was hoping that they'd just do a show that was completely different from normal and Anton would've just asked them to try completely new things

Chris hangs up on The Bert Show...then calls back
Those interviewers have no idea what it's like to have a life in which everything you say can and will be used against you. And then to constantly be asked about your personal life while you're there to talk about music. Cause you know, he's the only one in the band who gets that, no one ever asks about Jonny's, Guys or Will's family. And it just must be so weird for him that people are constantly trying to find out about that in every way and he has to be really carefull about what he says about it and then getting all these questions fired at you by people who think it's funny to ask that. I'd probably hang up to, even if it's not smart and it was very kind of Chris to call back and to explain that he wasn't offended but he just didn't know how to handle the question. I think Chris gets that people like to know stuff about his relationship, but he just doesn't always know how to handle it.

Coldplay GLEE episode next week?
i don't like or hate glee or whatever so I was quite open about it, but I think it's kind of boring. He did it ok I guess? although I don't like it when he sings high at the start. While the original is just amazing to me (I think it's the song that got me into Coldplay?) I guess it's a combination of Chris' voice and different instrumentation that makes it better than this and I think coldplay plays it a bit more raw.

Hype Williams (Viva la Vida) directing Paradise video // feat. Cintia Dicker (full details in first
I actually find Lovers in Japan and Violet Hill as good as Strawberry Swing as videos and I like them better then LiT II, but I also really like the Viva one, it has a great atmosphere to it. So I guess everyone just thinks something else anyway.

The 10 or 13 argument
I think they're just gonna have an ammount of songs that will give them the desirable length, so if they find 10 to short they'll do more, or if they'll find 13 songs to long they'll have less.

MYL OXYL OTO - My take on Coldplay's clever and perhaps subversive new album title
I suspect that if Chris ever finds out this theory he'll be like 'damn, that's much better than what we thought of' :P Great theory, and I'd love it to be true, but it might be to farstretched but then again, you never know with coldplay

Will LP5 be Coldplay's last album?
Well I think they always keep writing to try to improve, they always say they want to try to make the best music possible and they don't feel they've done that yet so that keeps them going. And they'll never feel like they've done that, so I think they'll keep going as long as they feel they can get better. But seriously I haven't seen any sign whatsoever that they're getting tired of it or want to quit anytime soon, they're working so incredibly hard and haven't even taken the time to think about when this should ever end, I think they just love what they do and there is nothing in their near future to make them stop. So we shouldn't worry about it.

Is Charlie Brown THE BEST Coldplay song...EVER??
I think Chris writes lyrics and accompanies himself on piano/guitar and from that they can form a song together, I think everyone pretty much writes their own parts but the others give suggestions etc and they do it together. With the melody for example, I think they use what Chris has written and then Jon tries some stuff and they see what they like and this can be very much along the melody Chris has written or something entirely different. And the songs don't always start with Chris' part, I think they sometimes start with the drums or base or maybe with a riff. Or they'll use stuff from discarded songs. There are a million ways they can write songs, and I'm sure they use them all because that'll keep them creative and different. But I'm sure the process is that they work together all the time but write mainly for their own parts in doing that.
