  1. Title: Mylo Xyloto 1. Mylo Xyloto 2. UFO 3. Hurts Like Heaven 4. Up in Flames 5. Major Minus 6. Princess of China 7. Charlie Brown 8. A Hopeful Transmission 9. Alien Radio 10. Tomorrow 11. Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall I would love to see Spanish Rain again, but I think some of the magic would be stripped from it, it's one of those songs that just works so perfectly live.
  2. If you listen to VLVODAAHF in a religious context it absolutely does. I wrote a 16 page paper about the album in a Religion class, the album is dominated w/ religious undertones.
  3. I'm probably slow on the uptake here, but I noticed Car Kids on the back of Chris' shirt for the 1st time last night.
  4. Awesome awesome wallpaper man
  5. Good artists borrow, great artists steal. Remember that.
  6. Its obvious by your language and diction that you lack basic intelligence necessary for even the simplest of debates and conversations. How about educating yourself in some more suitable and diverse word choice before delving into a topic that is apparently very dear to your simpleton soul.
  7. Chris was, and is very much so influenced by Bruce. In Rolling Stone he said he would follow him to Mt Zion and listen intently to every word he said.
  8. Regardless. If Chris writes a song, by himself, and they only use piano, lead guitar and a slow drum line...why should Guy be entitled to an equal share of the profits for writing the song?
  9. So Major is hard to spell then? Lol I'm just giving you a hard time.
  10. Its harder than minus and mouse...
  11. I don't know. It got everyone off on the mneumonics or xylobytes (or whatever the hell it was) tangent. Now we have tangible evidence leading to the meaning of MX. Think about it: 2 words? Check. Starts with an M? Check. 2nd word is hard to spell? Check.
  12. I don't think Minus, Mouse and Mori are that hard to spell...just sayin'
  13. Doubtful, but possible...
  14. Don't forget, the reason the other guys will get less than 20% is because Brian Eno is also involved in the writing of that particular song. Chris, as we well know is the main songwriter, and that program isn't stealing credit, it's simply stating the overall contribution to the writing process of the song.
  15. Maybe it's not just an intro, maybe there's more but theyre using only the intro to keep the title hidden. Look at LiT. Chris only used part of it (w/ no lyrics for that matter) for Viva. The "real" song was on Prospekt's.
  16. The swastika is actually a Hindu sign for peace, Hitler twisted it into an abomination by reversing the direction of the arms. But this would actually fit with Chris' original description about anti-Nazi movements and the White Rose movement. Interesting finds
  17. Will the CD and Vinyl versions include MTM?
  18. Growing At first I was incredibly skeptical, maybe because I had built up the return to an unimaginable level, so I voted it a 6, maybe a low 7. After repeated listening, each time raising the volume just a tad bit louder, I would give it a solid 9. It's not a Yellow or CLocks...yet. I disliked Violet Hill when it first came out, but after listening to it in the context of the entire album, I fell in love with it, so maybe that's how it will become with this song. Also, Coldplay stated a while back that the album would be about Spray Paint Art...and Nazis. I actually listened to this song, picturing war refugees in Germany during WW2, and their expressions toward the war ending, and being able to sing and dance again. Their teardrops were a waterfall, but they were free, and thus joyous and hopeful. It's not the Coldplay I'm accustomed to, but I do like it, and with each listen I like it more and more.
