I incorporated every song title off of MX, and all sorts of stuff you'd expect from Coldplay graffiti. This took a total 4 hours to pencil, pen and ink. I'm pretty damn proud of it. I hope you like it~

I’ve been thinking it over, and I’ve found some parallels between the upcoming Coldplay album and the 2009 Green Day album. They are both concept albums, with male and female central characters and a general graffiti artist/anti-establishment theme. The first two tracks on Mylo Xyloto, “Mylo Xyloto” and “Hurts Like Heaven,” set the stage for the rest of the album – as do “Song of the Century” and “21st Century Breakdown.” The third track on Coldplay’s album, “Paradise,” shares more similarities with the Green Day album’s fourth track, “Viva La Gloria,” than its third, “Know Your Enemy.” Whereas “Paradise” and “Viva La Gloria” serve as a cry of freedom for the female character, “Charlie Brown” and “Know Your Enemy” are driving, rebellious anthems for the males. The seventh track on 21st Century Breakdown is a bittersweet ballad (“Last Night on Earth”) – and the fifth track on Mylo Xyloto, “Us Against The World,” is one as well. Until the release of Mylo Xyloto, this list of similarities will have to wait.

Hey Coldplayers! Do you have a certain lyric by Coldplay that just drives you nuts? Is it poorly worded, awkwardly rhymed, or just plain goofy? Tell all. I personally HATE the lyric in Paradise "Life goes on, It gets so heavy, The wheel breaks the butterfly." IT IS JUST SO AWKWARD. What kind of wording is that – breaks the butterfly? :thinking: Whenever I hear that bit while I listen to the otherwise-pretty good song, I cringe.

...haters gonna hate, lovers gonna love, fangirls gonna fan... COLDPLAY FANGIRL RANTY TIME! First impression: It's like if Every Teardrop, Viva, and Fix You had a baby. Weird, yes, but definitely listenable, hooky, and tugging-at-your heartstrings anthemic. I'm liking it, but not loving it. I sorta wish Charlie Brown was the single instead, but I can see why the boys picked this one. It's catchy as fuck, really pretty, and will do well on the pop charts and earn them more Grammy awards. It's good, yes. But is it great? Time will only tell. Haters gonna hate, likers gonna like, lovers gonna love. Coldplay is not a perfect band (how dare I type that!) and Mylo Xyloto, like all their other albums, will not be perfect either. But you gotta love the boys for trying! Thus concludes my ramble. BACK TO PARA-PARA-PARADISE...... WHOA-OH-OH-OH-OH~ ((So yeah I actually love it, but these are my actual thoughts I had during the first three listens.)) THIS JUST IN: I have discovered that RIHANNA is guesting vocals on Princess of China. Seriously, WTF Coldplay? Rihanna? Why not GAGA? :facepalm:
