Chilly, about -10C. At least it didn't take me 2 hours to get to work this morning, since it took me that long to get home last night, the roads were so slippery. It only took the usual 40 minutes to get in this morning, so I'm happy.

It is such a tease. The website says they will release a catalog "in advance", but they don't say how far in advance. I am getting very antsy.

YOU ARE MY HERO This is a lovely idea, I was actually just thinking of compiling a list for fun anyway. I'll have to ponder this for awhile, and I'll try to post my list by the end of the month.

I used the piano sheet music for it, but I actually had to move up an octave to make it sound right. But I wasn't really playing the organ, I just switched the setting on my digital piano to percussion organ. Not sure if this helps at all.

Yes, I need to set up an ebay account. Does anyone here regularly make purchases on ebay? Is it best to set up a PayPal account, or just directly use a credit card? Also, have you ever purchased from a different country? I had asked the Oracle about whether people outside the UK could purchases, and although she said yes, I'm still not sure how it works. Does it automatically show the pound-to-other currency conversion right on the bid screen?

No kidding! I recently received a magazine that was all torn up, and the post office put it in a nice little plastic bag with a note that basically said, "woops, our bad, but sometimes that happens since we handle x number pieces of mail everyday and we're not perfect, sorry". I'm surprised the postal service didn't try to do the same here, that kind of stinks. The United States Postal Service is a monopoly (in terms of parcel post mail, not packages) subsidized by the government. Monopolies are otherwise illegal. Oh yeah, and Ponzi schemes are illegal here too, but somehow Social Security is legal. Whatever. :dozey: Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now.
