So how do people down there handle driving in the snow? In Michigan we're used to changing our driving behavior at the first sighting of snow, but I'm not sure how well people in the south do in that regard. I wouldn't want to drive in Texas snow... not becuase I don't know how to, I'd just be afraid that everyone else around me wouldn't know how to. :inquisitive:

What are your opinions about this case? Before the verdict is announced, do you think she is guilty or innocent? Although the case is getting a bit of press here in the U.S., the details still aren't clear (at least, not to me). I'm particularly interested in the opinions of those from Italy, since you probably hear more details regarding this case...

Trafalgar Square I found out that it's basically illegal to feed the pigeons there anymore. And the city has falcons around the Square to scare/eat them. :freak:

For the LONGEST time, I thought in "What If" the lyrics were "Ooh, let's try", instead of "Ooh, that's right." Personally, I think "let's try" sounds better and makes more sense, but I'm not in the band, so... :tongue:

Space Cadet, you pretty much have it right on. That probably should have been the focus all along. I remember shortly after Bush sent troops to Iraq, my grandma said, "He's just using 9/11 as an excuse to get back at Saddam for trying to kill his daddy (Bush Sr.)." She was a genius. Plus, all the hoopla involved in trying to "convince" everyone that they had WMDs. Seriously, all of that 'proof' with satellite pictures and such could have been made by a 5-year old with access to satellite pics from the web of any overhead location and slapped some labels on it. For all we know, they could have been pictures of desert areas in the southwestern U.S. "Um yeah, sure, this building over here is a nuclear site, this truck over here is holding weapons, because that's the label we have on it." Whatever. When Obama made that announcement I thought, gosh, the people who nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize must have egg all over their faces right now. Woops. Since when does Peace = War?!? :freak:

It was probably categorized under the "Rock" category this year because of the Jonny puppet smashing his guitar into the amplifier... that's more "Rock" behavior as opposed to "Pop". :tongue:

If you major (or even minor) in math, you'll definitely have a leg up on all the masses of people who graduate with business degrees. It will show prospective employers that you have excellent logic skills, among other things.

I'm a math nerd and proud of it (so math-nerdy I went to college for a mathematics degree). However, I admit there was one class I despised... PROOFS. Ugh. Gag. :freak:
