  1. Yesterday in an interview in the french TV show Chris explained that Mylo Xyloto was just an imaginary language, with two words: Mylo and Xyloto. It's about creating a now word, from nothing, kind of like Google. :) How I know it? Well I was there :awesome:
  2. Para, para, paradise! *Les 4 en coeur :* Ooooh Ooh Ooooooooooooh!
  3. Bonjour! Bon anniversaire :nice: Oui on y étaiiiiiiiiit  Merci à ces anonymes qui se sont désisté surtout!!! :D :D :D Paradise est une chanson très "puissante", j'ai très hâte de la réécouter! Bon weekend à vous!
  4. So, according to your poll, if you agree with Coldplay's decision, you can only be the most annoying fangirl ever. I always knew ETIAW was going to be on the album, they just said it ages ago. -Yeah, I know, they also said the same day that it would close the album, but ANYWAY ^^- So I bought it 3 times, knowing each time that I would buy it at least once more, but I didn't care : I love the song, I listen to it 30 times a day, and it makes me happy. I could pay a lot more for this. About Major Minus, when they said it would make it to the album, I kind of thought too that it was a pity because we heard it before but if it's an important part of the story they want to tell with the album, they shouldn't reject it just because of that, and I can't wait to hear those songs as part of the whole work. And, once again, I know I'll listen and enjoy these songs a lot in the next few years, so I don't really care how much it costs. But I understand that this isn't relevant for everybody.
  5. Oh, and Guy was really, really enjoying playing this one. Wow, what can I say... One of the greatest? I personally don't think so but it certainly has the potential for it. ;)
  6. Okay I'll tell all I think I remember, but if it turns out to be untrue, please... Don't hate me :D I wouldn't say that, not as much as The Scientist for example. I think the piano starts, and the other instruments come just a little bit later, but all of them are very powerful. I also remember that the guitar riff sounded a bit like the introduction of Viva la Vida. But, maybe that's just me  Sorry that it doesn't help AT ALL, I really wish I could remember it correctly! How frustrating! But none of us could really remember it at the end of the night.
  7. Hi guys, I was there with some Coldplayers and just got back home. What an amazing day. I left my home without a ticket for the show, just to see if maybe we could meet the band for a few seconds. We met Miller, Dan Green, Rik Simpson, Chris and Will, all of them tired after finishing the album and a couple interviews. We took a few pics (will post them later :)) and we eventually got a ticket to hear Paradise live for the first time. It was wonderful. Beautiful song, the four of them playing, Chris at the piano, the four of them singing. I can't remember it well because it was the first one they played and it was followed by 2 hours of music, but it was something quite special. Then they played Viva, ETIAW, did the interview and left. And all of them are SO lovely!
  8. It's just that I really liked how with Viva they started telling stories with the whole era, and I feel like it really was a good idea to link the songs all together at some point. Anyway, my point is that to me it's a bit unfair to say that it was some kind of lack of effort. It's at least an attempt to write songs differently. Whether they succeeded or not, that's another question.
  9. Sorry, but that sounds silly to me. The Viva era represents 19 songs. The average song has, I suppose, around 30 verses. That makes around 570 verses. "Now my feet won't touch the ground" is used, apart from the song itself, 3 times. So. After writing 567 verses, I think the band wouldn't mind writing 3 other ones that would be totally different. But if they choose to use this one 3 times, I think that the reason is that it means something for them, thematically.
  10. Did you see this on the latest Paradise news on coldplay.com? It was mentioned on the Coldplay section but not in this thread. :awesome: And the name of the image is 'alittlebitofartworkforpeoplewhopayattention'
  11. And MX is released on October 24th...... The same day, in 1917, Lenin planned his attack against Kerensky. That can't be a coincidence.
  12. Actually yeah we'll never say it enough : thanks guys :)
  13. Instead of X&Y, worst song ever :worried: Anyway, cool artwork :) just a tip : you can download the "official Coldplay font" from that era, I saw it somewhere...
  14. It's not even released on 9/11, FFS
  15. What I hate the most are speculations like "if we take every first letter from every word in R42's last blog, we get the lyrics of the next single!"... of course I made this one up but I've read silly things like that...
  16. Did you actually ever cry while listening Coldplay stuff? I have to admit I never did... not even close!
  17. I'll listen alone, because when I can I want to hear new Coldplay studio material with earphones, lying in bed, eyes closed. That's how I discovered Viva (:awesome:), that's how I discovered ETIAW (:awesome::awesome:) and that's how I want to "discover" Mylo Xyloto. Plus, I wouldn't like to comment it with other people, I want to be "in" the music! And I just have 1 friend that really likes Coldplay, but he's not the biggest fan ever, you know.
  18. The audience will decide that, and I find that very exciting! Matt McGinn wrote in his book that half of Coldplay's crew didn't like the song Viva la Vida at first. And this one will be played at gigs five years from now! I really like the idea that nobody knows yet what their huge hit will be.
  19. I'm excited too, guys, BUT SERIOUSLY. SERIOUSLY. 1) There are haters for DLIBYH's title? A title we don't know yet?? SERIOUSLY??? 2) A 'Tomorrow' hint in that blog? You remind me of the guys who saw the walking man videos and said : "hey, Chris' head can be seen in his left leg..." or "we have to count the number of steps to know in how many days the album will come out"... Tomorrow is a word.
  20. Community :wacky: 2nd time, and it's even better.
  21. Due Date, second time - 6/10 The Mask, never seen this one! - 6.5/10 Super 8 - 10/10, it's not perfect but I totally forgive the few mistakes Ken Park - 8/10, brilliant Microcosmos - 7/10
  22. They said that The Beehive was their rehearsal room. So they should be there, you can be 99% sure.
