  1. I wish I could change my rating. After hearing the song only once yesterday, I voted 7, but I've been listening to it non-stop all day and now I would give it a 9. It's a beautiful song and I love Coldplay!
  2. I think that the titles can be interpreted as a bit cheesy, but without proper context it's impossible to know for sure. I still think that we won't be disappointed after hearing the lyrics.
  3. This is classic don't judge a book by its cover. Until I hear the lyrics to those songs I won't be too harsh.
  4. You don't have the right to go to a company without an appointment. None. It's not a department store. That's the reason you see the no soliciting, no trespassing signs on doors. At the very least you crossed the line.
  5. It sounds like coldplay will think twice before doing anything nice because of a few entitled people and someone with boundary issues. That's too bad for everyone else who appreciate their efforts and interaction (directly or indirectly) with the fans.
  6. :laugh3: We wouldn't want that to happen, but sounds like you need to have a man to men talk with Coldplay.
  7. Why not? The title suggests something dramatic to me and that's why I like it.
  8. Not rock, how so? "Hurts Like Heaven" is being used as a metaphor, I can deduce, and "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" is damn right poetic (LOL, maybe it's because I'm a woman). But we won't know the true meaning of the titles until we hear the complete lyrics. "Up With The Birds" sounds funny though.
  9. Now you tell me. This is new to me so I hope I can handle it!
  10. "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" - What a great song title! I'm getting weak in the knees already.
  11. I have a feeling I'm going to love the new album. I'm already loving the inspiration for the lyrics, and I agree with Chris, non-conformists are admirable and it takes courage to be one. As for a guess, how about: Memorable Movements.
  12. It's true that lyrics may mean something different depending on each person, but I could never find them random, or at least not the good ones anyway. But you're right It's ultimately the listeners choice.
  13. If he's just singing a song that means nothing, then can you explain "fix you" to us please? We are not stupid at all and Chris Martin said so. Ha!
  14. Kanye loves attention and clearly knows how to get it. He gets everyone all bent out of shape every single time.
  15. If that's the cost of keeping the marriage out of the limelight, then so be it. But I can also see your point, even being in the audience to support her would be nice one in a while.
  16. She was fantastic! A little bit stiff because she was nervous, but overall you could almost mistake her for a pro.
  17. OH.MY.GOD. I'm so jealous of that body.
  18. I love this thread and thank you for all your suggestions. I can't seem to find Camelia Jordana on itunes, is this her first album? I used to listen to all the old timers because of my grandma and my mother, like Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Gilbert Becaud and a bunch of others, but I went off to school and stopped. There a lot of really young talent out there now. I especially love, Coeur de pirate, Emlly Loizeau, Keren Ann and Camille! So thank you again and yes, please post more artists!
  19. My Way has to be one of my all time favorite song! I love old blue eyes; he's a classic as everyone says!
  20. This is just about Gwyneth being a "bad" mother. Notice Moses lives with mom and dad, but dad is exempt, naturally. For all we know Moses listens to whatever music that comes to his head or came on the radio once or twice, and no sooner than he learned something new, he moves on to next thing, as all kids tend to do. LOL at the "kids are not getting a musical education". They attend a school with a heavy focus on music, and Chris brought Apple a violin in Nashville not too long ago. They are probably surrounded by more instruments than they care to. Moses will be just fine. Music = art and the content of which is sometimes based on life experiences. He doesn't understand the meaning of the lyrics, then mom and dad will explain and also give guidance on how to avoid the dangers of x y and z. People parent their children as they see fit.
  21. That's a fine idea except for the greed part. Ah, yes. The American Dream. Let's vote against our economic interest because maybe one day we can make a lot of money... And...Are we talking about the same Obama that bailed out Wall Street?
  22. How did you arrive at this conclusion? Which newspapers are you reading? I'm speechless... which is a rare feat.
  23. Agreed! But now we're getting to the issue of campaign financing. Those candidates don't get equal time so they can showcase their platform to a wider audience, which would therefore give the people more options.
