I think that you're right too. But I like the lyrics of Hurts Like Heaven. And Us Against The World is brilliant to me. They're not even close to being as trivial as ETIAW. And I agree with the Major Minus. I think they're quite weird and doesn't make sense. Yes, they can have some sorts of symbols in it but still, I hear those crocodiles tickin' ? Nah.

Ah right, Singing In The Rain, of course. And yes I can play the ending of Fix You. I will think about The Scientist I remember I play something different but don't know if it's what you want. Can you show me a video? And I'll think about other things played live too and try to record some of it if I'll manage. Really it's not a problem, so if you would need anything else just say it.

You have keys, although beside just pressing them you have to send the air from your lungs through a pipe or something. Well you can play just the melody or just the chords. I'm afraid you can't do both at the same time. I don't like the sound of the chords on melodica but well it's your choice. I would recommend you to play solos on it and Jonny parts. It can be also good for some effects like a horn in Famous Old Painters.

I play it in a different way (easier I think) and still sounds good, so even if he goes improvising for some parts it's still ok. I'm sure it'll help him. I like the way you play guitar, although I think you realise that chords are not so precise. When you go with Am you should add the note lower. And I'm not 100% sure if pre-chorus is correct, but still it's ok and doesn't really matter. Your playing is at a proper level and you did a great job learning it so fast. About the singing. You're timbre is good I think. The way you sing is also good but there are some things I'd change: - Try to use your diaphragm more - Try to make a more deeper sounds - Try to stay on the notes and not just cut them like you did to "you're talking to" - Singing songs your own way is quite risky, try to hit correct notes more often - I like "walking into view , waaaah" I do thosek ind of thins often xD - Oh, and one thing play loudly between the verses and a little more quiet during the verses, not the oposite - "Ticking round the world, oh" didn't sound good. - You did the falsetto kind of part in the chorus correctly, good job. - Didn't like the bridge part. Maybe you thought that you wouldn't manage but I think you would be able to do it. - Quiet part at the end was interesting. It would be great if you'd sung it better. - "You" with the echo at the exact end... NO. Don't take it personally. I really think it was good but it will be better if you can improve those things I mentioned.

Fuck. He really did an amazing job. No one can replace Coldplay because they're the best in the world but he was closer than anyone else before.

Oh, intro you want? It's an improvisation kind of thing. I won't record it because I can't. First you have Bb chord with D on the base. Notes in between are Bb, and A to enter the Eb chord with Eb on the Base. Then you have again Bb chord with D on the base and notes are Bb and Bb,Eb to enter a weird chord (Bb, [D], Eb) with Eb on the base again. Notes after Bb,Eb->D->Bb. Then the rest is easy. You play F chord somewhere low with F on the base. And then Eb chord with Eb on the base. You do exactly the same one more time but this time with D on the base instead of F. You can play some notes inbetween if you want.
