You can just do an abrupt, violent laugh like ... BAH!

Who sang that 80s adult contempory, R & B song "Secret Lovers"? Dang it, that's in my head now ... Secret lovers ... That's what we are ...

isn't it annoying when...
So generally, right handed people are owed money by left handed people (if their scratching habits are any indication of truth).

Este es verdad, pero ... When I was 23 I didn't have cable, I didn't have a surfboard, I didn't have a car, and I didn't have the means by which to drink $100 shots of tequila every nice. I only had a BMW, not a Mercedes. I had only one maid to rub my feet at night; not the two, 5'10", blonde Swedish maid I have now. Yes, life was different.

Oh, also ... I used to go to UCSD, this is true enough, but I not longer do. I have a full-time job in UCSD's Department of Neurosciences.- Bachelorette
Actually, when I was your age (long, long ago) I didn't have cable either. But now, years later, I have more $ and can get it. Have faith, grasshoppah.- Bachelorette
I watch those shows, and I don't have a ton of time ... and I'm not more a loser than you are, Gaby, and you're not a loser. The only shows I watch on TV on a regular basis: Jim Lehrer News Hour South Park Chappelle's Show Real World Road Rules Real World/Road Rules Challenge Other than that, it's only news, movies, music and sports.- Bachelorette
Hi Gaby! I saw about 10 minutes of the show last night, and though I don't usually like the romantically inclined reality programs, I did like Meredith and for a moment felt jealous of those guys ... getting to spend time with her and all. She's awfully kind of the eye. But I did change it, in the end. I'm more a Real World/Road Rules guy. That's about the end of my reality preferences.- I miss Richard! *sobs*
Jess (and others), I hereby declare my break from the board over. Noni was kind enough to start an IM conversation with me this morning, and, though I was in a meeting at the time, she told me about this thread. I missed a lot of people on this board, but Jess, you're close to the top of that list. If you're not the heart of this board then you certainly respresent what I would want that heart to be. And there are a handful of other people I've missed a lot, and though I carried on PM conversations with many of them while I was on hiatus (I did log in to check and respond to those messages), it wasn't the same as being active on the board and interacting with people in a more spontaneous, intimate matter. I'm going to jump back into that practice now, and hopefully cure any longings I've developed in the past three weeks ... But I would be remiss if I didn't mention a couple of things (one good and one not so good): Part of the reason needed a break is that in posting so much I was noticed people on this board who, blind in their postings, were ruining the fun of many. While I was gone I saw somebody post a response to Gaby which included a piece of profanity aimed at her. I know this is the Internet, I'm a big boy, but this was a regular person who did this to Gaby ... That's the kind of behavior that inhibits my ability to stay on the board and contribute over long spans of time, for the more I get acquainted with the board the more the more I love it, and the more I get offended when I see that the commonalities of the world sometimes aren't enough to overcome a misguided mind or a soul of malconent. While it would have been just as easy for me not to post these thoughts (especially in this thread in which I want to feel happy that I'm coming back), I wanted to say them to highlight that I consider everybody on this board as I would somebody I'd meet on the street: a person with something special to contribute. We should try harder to show we're special and not rip each other down. And that leads into the second part of item I wanted to mention: The people who make this board possible: thank you. I've posted 2500+ times here and I've formed relationships which I consider legitmate friendships, yet chronologically I'm one of the youngest to the board. Thank you to the administrators, the technical support and the moderators ... ... and now let's get back to normal. Thank you, Jess, and hopefully I'll only miss you for a little longer. Richard- Sexiest male
well, in truth, you don't know for sure that i am male.- Sexiest male
ok ... i'll start working on the gut.- Sexiest male

What's with the pics, tonight, Gabs? WHat, exactly, are "getty images"?- MTV, Gideon Yago in Iraq
Right now, there is this special on American MTV where on of their news people, Gideon Yago, is keeping a video diary of 12 days he spent in Iraq talking to young people about their post-Saddam lives. Has anybody else seen this? I'm only 10 minutes into it, but I have to say ... ... it is having an incredible effect on me.- Sexiest male
I'm just quoting from a song titled ... "Julia"- Travis
I wonder how many of these happy-go-lucky Yanks know or approve of what "Beautiful Occupation" is about. I will probably scream as loud as I can in support after that song is over.- Sexiest male
... ocean child, ... haunts me.- sexy mexican GRRRRR
Yes. Your mailing address?- OutKast - Speakerboxxx/The Love Below
I know it's easier for me to think of these albums separately, an R&B album and a rap album. I agree with you, Tom, and I hope Andre has this out of his system and they can start working as a tandem again and not using OutKast as a markting vehicle of two solo projects.- WEIRD DREAMS
I'm still on a break ... I'm just dropping bye to briefly say hi. Isn't a guy allowed to miss people, huh? Your new av is pretty funky fresh in a Final Fantasy kinda way.- sexy mexican GRRRRR
Here, there and everywhere. I just decided to log on briefly to let the Travis freaks know that I'm going to the concert ni a couple of weeks, that they should all envy me, and that my scriptures that they can study are available in hard, soft and leather bound covers.- Where is Gollum?
Hahahahah ... I just posted re: your posts in the other thread. Great minds ... think ... about stuff. Gollum IS evil. I'm glad that I AM NOT GOLLUM. All hails to my board friends. Out. - I miss Richard! *sobs*
