  1. I don't bother updating iTunes after I've downloaded a new version. They're just 90MB files designed to fix bugs that I have no intention of worrying about.
  2. Nay, Eddie, not spam. :) Not a huge fan of their album; I like Supermodel Robots, though :D That being said, I'm not the Green Day fan I used to be.
  3. Happy birthday! :awesome:
  4. :O I was wondering whether I'd get you!! :D Well, definitely some new bands for me to check out... some I've been meaning to check out, actually :D Thanks again for the great mixtape! :wacky:
  5. Track 1 – Really upbeat. The guitar part is cool. For a moment, I was thinking Sigur Ros :P A really uplifting track, and lyrics are awesome too ‘If love is just a game, how can it be fun?’ And the acapella bit at the end is cool :D Track 2 – This guy has a nice voice. The song’s far more depressing that the first one, but that’s okay. I like depressing sometimes :D It has a really cool piano part too. Not as good as the first track, but a good track nonetheless. The last 30 seconds… wow. Track 3 – This song’s a lot more upbeat; probably my favourite track so far. I vaguely recognise the singer… possibly The Killers? Sound similar, anyway. Track 4 – I actually can’t tell whether the singer’s a guy or a girl; is that bad? This song’s nice too; more acoustic (music I’m quite partial to), but still upbeat. Track 5 – Not a huge fan of this one, to be honest. The piano’s nice, but… I don’t know. It just doesn’t quite thrill me in the same way as some of the others have. Track 6 – Woah, bit of synthy stuff on here, cool. This is probably the first time I’ve ever heard bells in a song. It works well, though. Nice track. The last 15 seconds or so is interesting. Track 7 – Very short track. The piano part is cool; has some nice jazz chords and stuff. /musicallytrained Track 8 – Now this track. This track. This track is cool. That speedy guitar part at the beginning, then the singer coming in (who has a great voice)... I really like this one! Come to think of it, I vaguely recognise this voice too. I couldn’t tell you who it is, though. Track 9 – It’s upbeat, but it’s sad… how? I suppose it’s the singer… he has quite a sad voice. But a good track. The string section (actually, section is an overstatement… like, one violin/cello) offsets it really well. One of my favourites so far. Track 10 – I like this one! It’s kinda techno/synthy, but still has guitars and stuff! I am honestly tempted to get out of my computer chair and fully rock out. Okay, maybe not, but this is still a great track. And wow, then the end… suddenly acoustic! It’s like everything I’ve ever liked ever in one song! Awesome. I’m definitely going to check out some more of this artist. Track 11 – Is this a live track? Nothing wrong with it, but it sounds it. But now, the actual song. The piano’s really nice; quite jazzy and upbeat. Not a huge fan of the singer, though. Track 12 – This one’s cool! I recognise the voice too, I think. The group of people doing that ‘Badabupbada, da da…’ works really well. Track 13 – The piano in this song is hauntingly beautiful. The singer works well with the piano… but about 1:15 in it starts getting more upbeat. I guess it works for the song, but I don’t really like it. They could have kept just piano/voice combination for a little longer, before bringing in the rest of the band. For some reason, at about 2:50, it glitched up and went to the next track. But it was a good song until then. Track 14 – This one’s a weird one. It has some strings in it, but also has some sort of weird reversed drums or something going on. The singer’s really good, though. I like this one. Track 15 – This one’s another kooky one. The guitar part is quite unusual, especially when matched with the vocals. Sounds a bit like Lily Allen or similar. Probably a little bit long for my liking; after about 2 or 3 minutes I just wanted to get to the next track, and I kept saying ‘Is it still going?!?’ Sorry. Track 16 – This one’s a bit better. It’s quite upbeat, and has some piano and strings and stuff. Nice track, but a bit uninteresting after a while. Track 17 – A really good ending to the mixtape. The piano’s slow and beautiful, and the vocalist has a beautiful voice. All in all, a great mixtape. Some really upbeat songs, but some really slow ones as well. It’s obvious you’ve put a great deal of thought into your mixtape, and the ordering of tracks, etc. And I’ve really enjoyed listening, too! :) I have no idea who made it, though… That was actually rather tricky to write... I used very few adjectives other than 'nice' or 'good' there... :P
  6. I'm going to show a little restraint and wait a while before having a listen. Because our cleaner is here at the moment, and I don't wanna pause this tape or anything... I want to blast it so that everyone in my neighbourhood can hear its awesomeness. I'm already shaking with impatience ;-;
  7. COME ON MIXTAPE DOWNLOAD YOU ZGBLFLS
  8. Woah, 98MB. Fortunately my internets is relatively quick today. Awesome.
  9. Yeah, I don't have mine either D:
  10. I only just woke up! I have all day to wait/listen/review my mixtape xD Have fun sleeping all you sleepy folk :wacky:
  11. It would basically be montages of me sleeping, eating, listening to music, doing homework, and playing Minecraft. The show would probably never get off the ground in the first place :P
  12. Nonetheless, an Australian tour is pretty much guaranteed. Unless the PM bans them or something :P And I'm just gonna wait for them to come nearer to where I live... who knows, maybe they'll headline Big Day Out next year or something.
  13. Pretty unlikely. If it was him, he probably wouldn't have an actual picture of himself, nor would his name be Chris Martin. He'd probably go under a pseudonym.
  14. I live in SA. The festival coincides around the same time as I'll be having mid-year exams and stuff. Plus, I heard it's about $350 for tickets and camping permits. Plus travel costs. Additionally, knowing festival setlists, it might not be quite as long as their regular shows. I think. Personally, I'll be waiting for them to come to somewhere close by. Hopefully Adelaide. TL;DR version: I wouldn't bother.
  15. Since everyone's all like 'I'M PUTTING DAYS OF WORK INTO MY MIXTAPE', I'm fearing that I've spent far too little time on mine and my reviewer is going to hate it D: Ah, who am I kidding, I'm awesome.
  16. And my god, my mixtape is filled with local bands. Because all the other stuff I like the other person likes too D:
  17. Mine's done, uploaded, linked. I hope my listener's gonna enjoy it :) And mine's, like, just over 50 minutes :P
