Your reasoning makes little sense. Simply because they've done things consistently in the past doesn't necessarily mean that they'll continue to maintain that consistency. Thus is the nature of a band, or any creative force; they change, they grow, they mature. Plus, perhaps EMI are taking a risk; asking them to release the album during their 'dry spell', to bring forth the rains, as it were.

Very nice. Sounds a little bit Lovers in Japan-y. Additionally, I'm thinking that electro/synth bit at the end could segue into ETIAW on the album. If ETIAW is on the album. Which it probably will be.

Jonny's really coming into his own with this one. Guy and Will seem to be doing nearly nothing in this one :P I like this one... probably not my favourite, but still a nice song.

Hmm, can't say I'm a huge fan of this one.

I honestly don't care about the haters. If you don't like it, that's your choice. But personally, if the album sounds like this, I'll be happy. The lyrics actually fit really well with the vocals. And Jonny's guitar part - HURNGH. So good.

I'm sure this has been speculated before, but the wall that the boys are in front of in the new photos have UFOs all over them. The official website's GIFs have some UFOs as well: one in News, and another in Live Transmissions. Additionally, I see 'Monday' at least once, as well as 'Is A Wat*random graffiti*' Could be some hints. Buuuuut I bet it's all been posted before :P
