[22-July-2011] iTunes Festival, Roundhouse, London, UK
I'm travelling on a 7-hour coach journey tomorrow already to get to London for this gig... and I don't even have tickets!!! OMG :( I thought something "might" have happened by now but no, and I can't even buy them on ebay, there are none on there!!! (plus it is risky ofc) I'm scared now. I'm gonna seem really dim here and I don't really ever do this kind of thing... but all dignity aside, I'm gonna just put it out there, if anyone could help, no matter which way possible, I'd do ANYTHING to get a ticket. (Oh, and I'd be very appreciative too lol) A lost cause I think though, I hope I'll enjoy being declined after 10 hours queueing in the "standby" queue. :( But, to everyone who is going, I hate you, but have an awesome awesome night OKAY?! Really makes me smile that a few real fans might just be there to liven the place up :)

[10-July-2011] Coldplay @ Oxegen festival, Ireland
So, I flew in on Saturday morning (just a matter of hours after being released from hospital... don't worry I'm fine, well sort of...) to meet up with who else but Chelsea and Johanna and go and see what all the fuss was about! We were scared, really scared that they would be too tired and drained by now to put on a good show. We thought it might disappoint after hearing about Arras and really, 2 shows in 2 days at the end of this run, could have easily proved too much for them... how wrong were we? FUCKING WRONG!!! :o This was by far, by far the best I have ever seen the guys. They were so freaking happy, so excited and energetic and ready to put on the show of their lives... and they did just that. When MX started up I was about to hear my most anticipated song (I really was so excited for HLH that I never thought much about how the rest of the show might be haha) but wow, it blew me away. Jonny just comes out kicking with that song, pretty brave imo, but super-cool, it gets the crowd so up-for-it and buzzed...this is a keeper for years of setlists to come mark my words, it just works live. Yellow was a huge shock for me last night, I mean I love the song, always have, but it was different yesterday to the previous 4 times I have seen it live, it sounded crystal clear and better arranged somehow, I dunno, it was really good though! Violet Hill, In my place and Lost were the same, the sound quality was unbelievable and these songs which don't normally do much for me after seeing them so often, were totally different this time! :S Major Minus is cool, won't be a keeper and won't make the album for me, but it certainly rocks live and makes the studio version sound even worse now! The scientist sing-along is the best I have heard personally. Guessing it was because of the location but I've only ever seen them in the UK before too so I don't know why this was better... it just was ;) And Shiver... okay wait, SHIIIIIIVEEEER!!! Woah, that was insane! I remember thinking that the Crisis versions were unbeatable but I never thought I'd hear the full-band version really. Ms Gilchrist was so excited for that so I'm gonna let that be her moment ;) ... but wow, it was a real special thing for any Coldplay fan. GPASUYF was Jo's moment actually, but I'm stealing some of this for moi :P It was perfect. Best song of the night for me, hands down. That is a masterpiece with the new intro and it ended with Chris launching his telecaster about 20 feet (7ish metres Jo!) into the air, wow. Loved it, I hope it never gets dropped again, ever!!! UATW was sublime. Us 3 just looked at each other and we couldn't even talk. It was really beautiful and when Guy comes in it is just like watching them from years ago for me, but all grown up now :'-) Loved it so much. Everythings Not Lost was amazing too, won't see that again so I'm prett happy they played it, the crowd all new it and those who didn't found it easy for lyrics haha :D Politik was... it was Politik! What more can I say, still in my top 2 songs. Viva was great actually, the new piano intor is a smart-move for me. But here is my other huge hignhlight... CHARLIE BROWN ... omg :o That is the other keeper, it is gonna be soooo so huge when released. Should be the first single of LP5 for me, it is a hit, a huge hit, and the crowd were even singing the riff! I loved it, such a great live tune! ;) A really cool duet followed with some Irish bloke, it took the place of Life is for Living which disappointed me a tad, but it weas so special and unique, and every irishman knew the words! :D Clocks was perfect as always, Fix You was nice, and Every Teardrop was very energetic, the crowd loved that one too. All in all, I'm in a rush so I'll just say this, the best gig I've ever been too, not doubts on that, Flawless and special. Loved it <3

[28-June-2011] Coldplay @ 'Where The Action Is' festival, Gothenburg, Sweden
I thought the gig tonight was fantastic. The setlist gives me goosebumps for Oxegen next week and I can't wait to see the close-out to Parachutes being played like 11 years later with Everything's Not Lost and Life is for Living. The crowd were really really good in parts but the band didn't seem so pumped tonight, I guess anything is a huge comedown from Glaso though. But, the band were still really great and they played an immense set, to an immense crowd, in an immense way. Roll on Dublin!!! :D

This is the same guy who has just had his 2 other accounts banned isn't it? The I(L)U.F.O person who is pretending to know stuff? He said that the CK is a sign, so, it's the same guy! :embarrassed: He should be banned too.

U2 really rocked last night. They played probably the greatest setlist of all time!!! Anyone think there will be any changes to the Coldplay setlist? I did think that MTM was being "released" (I use that word very loosely since it is essentially a b-side to a b-side and available only when you buy ETIAW (again!) on a certain digital version from a certain retailer, don't like the domination of iTunes being aided by Coldplay at every chance they get really :-/ ... sorry!) ... riiiiiiight after Glasto because they might have played it there! :o ... how wrong I was, can't ever see Chris attempting those octave dwellers at the beginning of the song, in a live show tbh. He used to quit and shoot up to the next octave on performances of Yes on the vlv tour, after about 2 lyrics already! And that is a much higher song than MTM... plus Christmas Light's low-parts never sounded too clean live either :( Anyway, don't imagine MTM is the right kind of song for Glasto anyway, anyone think of any other possible changes? A surprise duet with somebody perhaps?! A new song all together? Princess of China (perhaps it is so good that they didn't want anoyone else to hear it before Glast? ;) oh, and Debs loves it too!).... ANYTHING AT ALL?! Or, just the same setlist? :-/ (which I still love btw, and would not mind seeing in Oxegen in 3 weeks!) P.S. I'm very sorry for my terrible (but also quite useful) over-application of brackets in this post! Don't hurt me anyone please :embarrassed:

Who is this covering the Marina and the diamonds song?! :o I love it

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall / Major Minus / Moving To Mars - CD, vinyl and digital release
For me, this means that the stuff being released now, is not even album-worthy... maybe they have even better songs up their sleaves?!:D

[22-July-2011] iTunes Festival, Roundhouse, London, UK
Just because the gig is in the UK, it doesn't mean it is not an "international gig" if such a thing even exists at all! ... Every gig is free to everyone, simple. If anything, we are so so lucky to be in the one country which Coldplay generally favour, because we save lots of time, effort and a huge amount of money, from not having to travel very far! .... I'm prretty happy with the current set-up, and nobody is complaining too much that it is UK-only, because there are hardly any tickets for this gig anyway! :o Just apply, and hope you get lucky, at least this time you won't be able to blame foreigners anyway ;)

Okay, I'm pretty stupid :P It says "160 Prizes shall be available for each Main Space event, and 7 Prizes shall be available for each Studio Sessions event" ... is it really so few?!

[22-July-2011] iTunes Festival, Roundhouse, London, UK
wtf@*7kfihgfj:@?????? :o Really?! So, I could just apply to them all and it will have no impact on anything, I could just as easily win tickets to 4 or 5 others? :shocked2:

Lyrics
If people agree then change to what I have written here yeh Ian? I'm doing my final interpretation to all the songs right now and I am pretty confident over them! ;) They got one eye watching you One eye on what you do So be careful who it is you're talking to They got one eye watching you One eye on what you do So be careful what it is you're trying to do So be careful who it is who'll walk with you And be careful when you're walking into view Ooh-ooh-oooh Ooh-ooh-oooh-oooh Got one eye on the road and one on you Ooh-ooh-oooh Ooh-ooh-oooh-oooh Got one eye on the road and one on you They got one eye watching you And one eye on what you do? So be careful 'cause my friend, this is true But don't believe a word It's just us against the world And we just gotta turn to be heard I hear those crocodiles ticking around the world I hear those crocodiles ticking, you go ticking around the world Ooh-ooh-oooh Ooh-ooh-oooh-oooh Got one eye on the road and one on you Ooh-ooh-oooh Ooh-ooh-oooh-oooh Got one eye on the road and hey! Here them climbing the stairs I got my left side by you on the left Trying too much yeh Ooh-ooh-oooh Ooh-ooh-oooh-oooh Got one eye on the road and one on you Ooh-ooh-oooh Ooh-ooh-oooh-oooh Got one eye on the road and one on you

Lyrics
I'm doing this for all the songs, here is my interpretation ;) ... what do you think? Oh morning come bursting, the clouds, they left. Lift off this blindfold, let me see again. And bring back the water that your ships role in, in my heart you left a hole. The tightrope that I'm walking, just sways and ties. The devil, as he's talking, with those angel's eyes. And I just wanna be there when the lightning strikes. And the Saints go marchin in And sing slow it down, Through the chaos as it swirls It's just us against the world. Like a river to a raindrop, I lost a friend. My drunken as a Daniel in a lion's den. And tonight I know it all has to begin again, So whatever you do, Don't let go. And if we could float away, Fly up to the surface, and just start again. And Lift off people trouble. Just erodes us in the rain, Just erodes us in the rain, Just erodes us into roses in the rain Just sing slow-ow-ow-ow it down. Oh slow-ow-ow-ow it down. Through the chaos as it swirls, It's us against the world. Through the chaos as it swirls, It's us against the world.
