It's freaking hot here in Denton, TX. I wish the hundreds would just go away. :dozey: I want fall to come asap! I want rain and colder weather desperately.

I paid around $100 for the nosebleed seats in the American Airlines Center 11/19/08 in Dallas, TX. And I paid $135 to sit towards the back of the actual seating in an outside venue called Gexa Energy Pavillion 7/21/09 (also in Dallas) because I didn't want to sit in the lawn. Based on that save up at least $100 to guarantee you have a seat and if you want to sit up closer I'd save as much as $200.

Does anyone have a link where I can watch the new episode? It would be much appreciated. :) I usually watch on megavideo but they don't seem to have it this time around. Edit: Never mind. :P I'm a day early.

I agree with everthing you said. Although I'm not a fan of the effects in Major Minus, I really love these ones. They seem to fit the song, and I hope this backing track makes it into the studio recording! The harmonies in the backing track are beautiful. I love that bit you mentioned. I also really love the "So cold, so cold" and "Yes I feel al little bit nervous . . ."

I know, right?! I just got my magazine today as well. :) I was so happy to see it at Barnes and Noble! I was surprised at how huge it was! It makes looking at the photos that much more awesome. :lol:

Yeah I'm just going to have to stay away from the forum the 24th. I don't want to spoil it for myself. I really don't want to listen to it if it leaks as well because it will ruin the beauty of release day for me. I'd rather just wait.

I haven't pre-ordered yet because I'm waiting to pre-order the special edition from Coldplay.com. I'll also probably go out to Wal-Mart or Target and buy the standard version the day of the release while I'm waiting on my package (unless I recieve it on time). I won't be able to withstand the temptation :P. Plus, there's nothing like running madly through the store, picking it up off the shelf, then running to the car and ripping the plastic off so I can play it for the first time. I would miss having that experience by just getting it in the mail. :\

They have it at my Barnes and Noble. But they didn't have the September issue yet. I just went to look today.

Yeah I'm kind of upset that we may have heard a large portion of the album already, but I honestly would have been more dissapointed if they didn't play anything new at the festivals. I do agree with the thought that maybe they could have played maybe 3 songs rather than 6, but I'm not too upset with their decision. I still feel like I have a lot more to look forward to still. I think they've kept the best songs secret from us and that we won't hear them until the album is released. I'm also still looking forward to listening to the album as a whole in one sitting so I can take it in its intended tracklisting and full unveiling of the theme.

I agree. How can it leak when there's not even a confirmed tracklisting yet and the mastering is not complete?

My honest opinion, Mylo Xyloto as the title is fine with me as long as it ends up some having some meaning behind it. I really want the band to explain what it means, which I'm sure they will in time. Right now it's just some made-up word. That being said, I do like that the title is short, that it rhymes, and I appreciate it's uniqueness.

I'm so buying myslef the limited edition pop-up version! :P

I feel the exact same way! I wasn't impressed by Perfect Symmetry at all. Night Train had some good songs but was also underwhelming. I'm also following Muse a lot at the moment. I really like their stuff and they continue to impress me. I'm not following U2 as much anymore. I like their older stuff better.

Back on topic :P. For me: AROBTTH > Viva la Vida = Parachutes > X&Y. I love X&Y it just happens to be my least favorite. I'm hoping LP5 rates at least on the same level as Parachutes and Viva. I would be completely amazed if it tops AROBTTH, but I'll just have to wait and see. I'll give my true opinion once I've actually listened to LP5 a couple times.

I can see it. Thanks so much! I can't wait until it starts! BBC America starts airing it August 27th which is right after school begins for me. :P Hopefully it will make going back to school more bearable.
