I finally thought of one band you might not know. The Parlotones. :) They're awesome!

No they do not have a working fanmail address. But I sent an autograph request out to an old one in Summer 09 and eventually it got them and I got back a signed 8x10 pretty much a year later. Here's the address I used. At least I think it is? I don't have my autograph with me right now or I'd look at the return address just to make sure. I'll update this weekend if it's not right. She just HAD to go see him and wasn't allowed to go by herself. I did not appreciate it :dozey:) And I have tickets for My Chemical Romance on 5/20/11!!! WOOT!

I hope you do too! Since we are sharing stories about meeting them. I met them when they performed over the summer in Dallas at the House of Blues. They're all very nice. I have to second that Richard is very nice. He talked with me and my sister a good 5 or 6 minutes. Tim was kind of shy, but nice as well. And Tom came out last so he didn't spend much time with anyone. I got autographs from them all on a photo I brough, a guitar pick (also signed), and pictures.

I didn't think anyone of them sang well, but the lights and the people moving across the field were entertaining.

I think you might like Keane, Snow Patrol, Travis, U2, and OneRepublic (if of course, you don't already have them in your library)

I got Go Live for Christmas. :) It's awesome! I definitely recommend it.

I've heard "Speed of Sound" while in the grocery store and "Viva la Vida" in a bubble tea shop. Those aren't really that wierd, but the wierdest I can think of.

This is kind of off topic. But I always kind of wished they had a quartet or something during VLV tour. It would have added a lot to the atmosphere. Recording is nice, but live is better.

I honestly think that his vocal performance gets worse when he's jumping and running around like he likes to do during "Viva". It's always better on the songs when he sits down at the piano and actually can catch his breath, such as "The Scientist".

No. None of my family does. No one else in my family is a huge Coldplay fan like me. :P My little sister likes them pretty well and my parents tolerate them and know I like them, but that's about as far as it goes.
