I love the live version of this song, his voice sounds incredible. Especially the 'I always want to feel this way...Amazing Day' build up. I wish the album version had the 'Both of us say' bit he sings live. I'm not complaining though, I love everything about this song. Guy on the bass is killing it.

Very valid points. Its just that I used to feel something more when I listened to his lyrics and I'm trying to place why I don't feel it anymore. Maybe its me, maybe its him, who knows. I'm just a little sick of the sky, birds, diamonds, heart beating motifs ygm? Plus, Birds is my favourite song off the album, probs because of the passage you just quoted.

Coldplay's rock cred is definitely dead if Chris continues to write perplexing lyrics like "2gether thru lyf" or "you're so cool" at the end of Birds, or "the most beautiful-est of treasures" in Army of One. This is the same guy who wrote slightly profound things like "night makes a fool of us in the daylight" and "give me strength; reserve control". Whilst sonically the band have gone through a massive change from rock to overproduced pop, their lyrics have even more so.

+ I like existential crisis Chris lyrics: 'when you feel like a puzzle but you can't find your missing piece' I get you Chris - takes too long to get to Jonny's crazy solo Wish they'd play it live again! I loved the techno Talk/GPASUYF they used to do on the B Stage Birds

I pre-ordered from the official Coldplay store and finally got my album yesterday, thank god. I didn't get those holographic stickers though? Not that I particularly wanted them that badly but will they be shipped separately?

who sings 'believe in love', the last line of the song? Is it Annabelle Wallis? Interesting choice. Also, which of the solos in the song is Jonny's and which is Noel's?

The whole Viva era was just amazing. From the lyrics, to the concept, to the costumes to the artwork, I feel like they were trying to take us to another world. It was extremely well-planned out and executed. I miss that era so much </3

Birds is my favourite so far

The beginning melody reminds me of L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N by Noah & the Whale. Both songs have the same uplifting yet chill vibe. So excited to hear the studio version of this song!

Jonny is definitely stealing the show on this album! We have to mention Guy too though, his basslines are getting groovier and groovier. The best bit during AOAL at the Tidal gig last night was Guy's little solo bit right before "You make me feel like I'm alive again". Chills!

You can use VLC Media Player, I had the same problem when just using Windows Media Player to play it :)
