The Scientist
This. And not to nitpick, but the Csus4 is actually named Fsus2 because the bass note is F. I don't know, but I see "Yamaha" and "CP" on the side. Yamaha's CP series is pretty well known...but I have no idea which specific model Chris is using.

Moses's Tabs and Stuff
Oooh yeah you're right about Moses. I listened to a couple versions that are labeled acoustic but are just...live performances. You can really hear the B (detuned to A) and e strings ringing open as they often do on Chris's guitar parts. I like your Green Eyes cover. You did a great job of getting the strumming of the album version correct. :) Ah thanks. That's understandable; I figured out most of the parts by having the computer play the song at low volume while I played along. And technically, no. My best friend plays [lead] guitar, so he and I will probably try to form a band or end up performing as a duo. Are there a lot of musicians where you are Acquiesce? Who knows..you might even start a band of your own (that would be infinitely better than any I would be in). :smug: Right now... Everything's Not Lost (chords) <--A PREVIEW: IT STARTS ON AN E CHORD. All Around the World (chords) Shiver (lead) Yeah...I'm kind of slow at this. :embarrassed:

Viva la vida acoustic/piano version
The ooooh's are on top of the song's main progression - Db, Eb7, Ab, Fm The part that's right before the oooooohhhh is Db - Fm 4ish times and then Eb7 before going loud.

Ouch Jin I'm really sorry about that. I would get that checked out at a music place because that just..shouldn't happen. >_< :( @Zergio - in the process of making it. But of course, I need something to go with your acoustic tab. :)

Coldplay or Radiohead: Who's Bigger in the U.S.? (unfavourable article)
DUH GUYZ IT'S OBVIOUSLY RADIOHEAD. They have 5 members and Coldplay has 4. Not to mention Ed O'Brien is freakishly tall. (this rhymes if you have a British accent like me. :)) Similarities: -A member named Jonny -Bald or balding drummer -Both have a handsome Guy / Ed

Shiver Chris's chords and Jonn's tabs
Thanks Zergio, and no worries, this is a really good tab and such minor mistakes are unavoidable with such a complicated song. Yeah for the F# both sound right and work, but if you watch the way his hand switches at Liverpool, he lifts up all of his fingers besides his thumbs to go from the 2x2300 to the 2x4400 which makes it unlikely that he's playing 2x2400.

Lost~ Ukulele Cover!
1:45 he looked at the camera. :p The ukelele solo was EPIC. And like the Champion said - epic vocals at the end! :) Only thing I didn't like was the chorus-y vocal effects on the chorus. It's a nice touch but in my opinion makes it sound a little more fake than it should. :( Epic instrumentation, singing, filming/editing. Damn. I want your boyfriend. :o

Shiver Chris's chords and Jonn's tabs
Either one definitely sounds alright, but I think your one is more correct Jin because Chris tends to leave the B and e strings open, and that's what it's looking like in live videos. So 2x2300 it is.

Shiver Chris's chords and Jonn's tabs
A couple corrections based on the Liverpool performance: -The B/F# chord in the prechorus should be 2x4400 as opposed to 4x4400 as it is now and it's more correct to name it F#6sus4. -The F#m13 in the same place should be named F#13 (because it is major and not minor) and be tabbed as 2x2320 instead of 2x2400. And you should change the name of the B7add11 chord to Aadd11 or something. I'm not trying to nitpick, but that chord is very similar to the Aadd9 and it's definitely an A-based chord so its name should reflect that.

Jaja call me crazy, but I'm kind of touched that you would actually remember that. :p I looked back at what I wrote and I don't think they were errors so much as small differences that do not impede my playing the song successfully. C-G-Am-E-F-G (I only wrote up until there for whatever reason) vs C, C/B, Am, E, Fmaj7, G. -The way I play the first G chord, which isn't evident in what I wrote there, is 320003 as opposed to 320033 as you probably play the 2nd and 3rd G chords in the progression. Yes, Noel plays a C/B that I think is x20010 or something similar, BUT a C/B chord is actually a Gsus4 that has the bass note removed, so it's technically a partial G chord. If you listen to these versions, you can pretty clearly hear that during the C/B chord they play a G note in the bass, which is why I play it as 320010 or 320003. So in my opinion, C/B and G are interchangeable in this song. But yeah in the end, we're all correct.

Moses's Tabs and Stuff
Yep my guitar has NOT exploded. :laugh3: Went to GPASUYF and then Shiver (thanks for that one Zergio ;)) and back. Oh I see what you did there. That makes sense because before that I had been using my thumb and then 3 fingers but that's kind of awkward. Using the thumb to get two strings works pretty well though. To do list.... -Everything's Not Lost -All Around the World

Honestly I couldn't see very well what it was. It looked like the edge of the hole where the string goes through the tuner was a little bit pointy so that's the part I applied a green scotch-brite pad to; this was my EJ200 so the tuner was gold but having sanded it, I guess I nipped the whole top layer off and now the e string tuner is sort of silver and the edge in question is just a little bit rounded. On the other hand, there're other things that could probably be factors - being too rough with the tuners...that might just be my paranoia with it all...I always turn really really slowly. :p Or maybe the string just wasn't wound very well to begin with; I can imagine it's easy to break strings that have kinks <--this definitely happened with me because the e string that broke when the aforementioned happened to me was also the first time I had restrung a guitar, so I didn't do a great job of winding the string. Edit: this is what my tuner looked like before: notice the roughness on the hole and how it's not a perfect circle. Not to mention e strings are really skinny and easy to break. :(

Moses's Tabs and Stuff
Funny because that's the same thing that happened to me when I first got my guitar. Do you remember where the breaking point was? If it was near the tuner, you'd best take a scotch-brite pad or fine sandpaper and lightly sanding the tuning peg the next time you change the string. My problem was there was a tiny little fleck of paint/chrome/dust that was grinding into the string whenever I tuned, but once I sanded it I've had no problems. Actually, I have my guitar in GPASUYF tuning right now but am planning to leave it like that for a couple days since I never practise the song. Wish my guitar luck in getting back to standard tuning without exploding. :p

Moses's Tabs and Stuff
Say what? There's no mention of Moses in this thread. >_< That said, I don't know Moses particularly well but when I play it in standard it sounds fine. But you could be right about tuning the B string down since it does jive decently well with the song even with a capo on the 2nd fret as Chris plays it. I suppose I'll add that to my to do list since I love Moses, but I've tuned my guitar to GPASUYF tuning and I like the song too much to bring my guitar back to standard just yet.. Oh I just realized I'm Moses. Is that why you think we're talking about Moses? :laugh3:

Moses's Tabs and Stuff
Ah that's an easy mistake to make. No worries jaja. :) Verse Chords: C# - 000000 (this is my favourite thing ever) E - 333300 D# - 222200 D - 111100 Chorus: A - 888800 E - 333300 F# - 555500 And that's all there is to it. BUT, to those attentive eyes out there (ahem, Zergio)...is can you tell if Chris is playing the A string? It sounds like it, but it looks like he may also be muting it so that the chords become 3x3300 for example.

Moses's Tabs and Stuff
On string snapping - it generally won't snap if you're lowering a string since you're actually reducing tension. It's much easier to snap a string if you're going upward. That said, I can't help but feel like the one you said is wrong Zergio and calls for some re-tunings that are more extreme than they need to be. I'll post my tuning + chords soonish.

Moses's Tabs and Stuff
@Zergio - I see. :o You're right about Violet Hill. Yes you were right to question (was that Kapone's?) tab. This is what the tuning is; I'm pretty sure about this. e - down to c# B - down to c# G - down to F D - down to C# A - down to G# E - down to C#
-
Moses's Tabs and Stuff
@Zergio - Ah that's probably right; it's hard to tell since the loudest part of the F#m-F-E is Jonny's powerchords which are neither minor or major. >_< @Jin - That's already in the tab; sorry if that was unclear. I specifically marked at the beginning that E signifies the chord you tabbed, so that was supposed to apply throughout that tab.

Moses's Tabs and Stuff
Righto. I found this online for All Around the World, and it looks 95% correct, so start with this. But I play my own version that I'll tab out for documentation's sake soon. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/o/oasis/all_around_the_world_tab.htm

Instrumentals.
Ah well I might look into Audacity then. >_< Did you mean you wanted something like sheet music? I'd be able to do that; do you know a program that makes sheet music easily?

Post piccies of the sexy Mr Berryman..
I LOVE his hair in this photo. It's the right length and just the right balance between messiness and tidiness. And is it me, or does he look kind of like Richard Alpert from Lost (Nestor Carbonell) with short hair?

Not yet. :p I'll have a go at it. Are you looking for chords, lead guitar, or both?

Moses's Tabs and Stuff
Any handful of songs really. My best friend and I are trying to start a band, and part of that involves me tabbing out guitar parts for the both of us since the internet isn't very reliable with tabs. So I figure I might as well put them here and a few nutsos like me will benefit from it. Which is why random tabs will show up in this thread every once in a while. I think some of the songs that will appear here sooner or later are Till Kingdom Come and Swallowed in the Sea. Eventually. :p

Instrumentals.
I play both, and no worries. It's not like it's written all over my profile or something (which it isn't, don't worry :p). Tell me more about this multitracking business though. What's Audacity and does it cost money? The only recording "equipment" I have is a digital camera (that's technically not a video camera).
