  1. I think it's understandable that Chris reacted the way he did. He is usually nice to the media but I can see how it can get old, especially if they catch you in a bad time. Not a good move, but understandable
  2. u gotta admit the production here is dope haha
  3. Sounds amazing man! That piano sounds just like Chris. I want a tutorial so bad!
  4. he was only joking
  5. 1:46 - 2:25 in this song is magic. I'd love to see coldplay make something just like this (haha)
  6. R roses, closer, something just like this. I dig the songwriting on these songs, and especially the production. Coldplay has an old school style, and could use some chainsmokers modern production styles imo. But yeah most chainsmokers songs are trash. But they will stay relevant for sure
  7. True they are close, I think the Chainsmokers and Andrew Taggart's style is kind of like Coldplay as well, but with more modern production. I really like some of their songs, like Closer, but they are so hit and miss
  8. imagine dragons don't even compare to coldplay... are you kidding? lol sorry had to say this
  9. does anyone know what chris plays?
  10. please share all
  11. Guys! It looks lilke Chris plays the right and left hands separate on the scientist. When he firsts strikes a chord, he uses both hands, but then he switches.
  12. Can you dm me too? thanks
  13. I agree^ I just saw the film. I didn't learn as much as I expected too, but it really brought out the personalities of each band member (especially Chris) and the struggles that the band faced. So surprised they didn't mention Clocks or spend more time on the Viva era. I think I am obsessed with their songwriting process and how the songs come about, which they didn't cover in depth, leaving me wanting more. But I definitely loved the film
  14. I'm honestly down to wait. I don't think they would release an acoustic album, but rather integrate the acoustic songs into each album. They have done so much so far, they deserve to take their time and put the best into their work. We are gonna have to wait until at least 2020. And that is okay.
  15. I'll be in Dublin, CA! Hit me up if you are trying to meet and talk some Coldplay :)
  16. Man, imagine what LP8 could be. That is going to be such an exciting time. I love this band.
  17. I think it is interesting that the right hand here is just two notes, along with the left hand playing one note or an octave. However, it sounds very full. I guess more notes does not necessarily mean better ... I'm slowly figuring out chris's secrets!
  18. this is an accurate tutorial for the ending of violet hill - beautiful !
  19. Wow I am really excited for Wings of Coldplay! It would be interesting to learn about Chris Martin's childhood
  20. i'm not sure how chris martin comes up with these amazing chord changes haha. it's something you would listen to while reflecting on your past. very nostalgic
