I signed up for iTunes Match today and was shocked to see that Lhuna, Coldplay's collaboration with Kylie Minogue, was one of the tracks that matched. I deleted my old MP3 and was able to download an iTunes Plus (256 kbps AAC) version of the song. As far as I can remember, my MP3 was ripped from a flash video. Has this song ever even been officially released? It certainly isn't available to download in the US iTunes Store.

Just received the bonus track version from CD Japan, so my wait is over. :D

The FedEx guy just delivered my copy from CD Japan. I wasn't expecting to receive it on release day, but I'll take it. I've been holding out listening to the album until I had the CD in hand. The CD does come with a lyrics sheet like a lot of Japanese CDs, and mine came with a rolled mini poster.

This looks pretty official now...

Are the daily tracks going to be iTunes links, too, or do we know yet?

So can I buy this anywhere yet? It seems odd that it's been finished since May and they haven't released it yet.

So about five listens in. I think this is a nice, catchy pop song and it should do well. Not quite the change of style I was expecting, but maybe that's not such a bad thing.

I think that Christmas Lights is going to peak too early in the UK to contend for Christmas #1 unless it really breaks through to a mainstream audience. I'm in the US, so powerless to do anything about it. I WOULD order a CD single if one were available. :uneasy:

I really wish that iTunes cover art supported animated GIFs so we could have the twinkling lights on the artwork. :artist:

Did a high quality version of this song ever surface, or just the rip from the Redwire video? I signed up for Redwire in 2008 and received a few issues, but I don't think I ever got this song. Sorry for the zombie thread, but today being World Aids Day made me think of this song.
