  1. The video and audio are actually in sync, but the end I just added one more repetition before the fade out with the piano and guitar.
  2. Just to show people, there weren't many participants in the other threads. And I didn't want to ruin the beautiful song with my voice. I assure you it isn't going to make the song better at all.
  3. Here's my cover of the song. It isn't perfect, or how I wanted it to be exactly, but it's the best I've done. There are still a few things I would like to change after listening to a few different recordings, but I wanted to put it out there to see how people thought. 4. Here's my cover. It's not perfect, but the best I could do. Even now there are a few things I want to change after listening to a few different live recordings. Tell me what you think. 5. I've made a cover of this song but I want to perfect it before I show it to you guys. There is no singing, it's just instrumental, and obviously it won't be exactly the same. But I tried to make it as close as possible. I made this on Garageband so it's not the best way to make a cover.
  6. I just tried to make an album artwork using the Every Teardrop font and the picture posted here with the cameras.
  7. This is a great video. I really thought that the ending with Will drumming in different places was a bit amusing, like Violet Hill's video. It really entertained me for sure. :D
  8. It's on Coldplay.com but is unlisted. I can listen over and over now!
  9. Just putting another idea out there. Could the album title also possibly be MX UFO? I mean, they are together on the news icon on coldplay.com. Just a theory.
  10. I think the line is "As a man with a spinning voice" (?) Don't know if that makes sense. I heard the "As a man" part pretty well but the rest was drowned out. There might also was some words before the last two lines of the song, I don't know if it's part of the song.
  11. I think it's "let your ships roll in" for that line. And also the line "My dunken head's a devil in a lion's den" sounds right. Everything else seems to be correct.
  12. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WRAID7E5 Here is one of the videos. I tried Youtube but nothing so far.
  13. I haven't been able to upload these videos onto Youtube. They have been freezing and can't process the videos. It might be the size or internet connection but I'm not sure. I'll try any way to get these videos on. I missed some portions of songs and whole songs. Unfortunately I didn't get Hurts Like Heaven.
  14. I'll try and put out some videos. They are not bad, but you will be able to watch a few of the songs.
  15. My videos seem to be taking way too long to upload...they are good quality, but the stream was intermittent and I couldn't get a song perfect without it stopping or something like that. Oh well, I tried.
  16. I got some of the songs. I got Major-Minus pretty good. It's just that the stream isn't perfect. There are parts where it stops, etc.
  17. Sorry guys, something went wrong on Hurts Like Heaven. Someone else will provide that. But I think it's working now, so the other new songs will be ok.
  18. Apparently Chris wrote a new song today. It was posted on their twitter account. Hopefully their performance goes on as planned correct time today. I can't wait for their new songs.
  19. I can't show you how I'm recording, but I have some software and so I'm just going to see if it works. If it does I will present it on Youtube as unlisted, but will post links here. If it's not there then you know it didn't work. But it's worth a try, being Coldplay. :)
  20. Hey fellow coldplayers, I just found out a way to record a live stream of the event playing: http://www.justin.tv/pr0pain#/w/1291871776/3 I will try to make them into videos as they are good quality. Hopefully they'll play the new songs again so we can hear in better quality.
  21. This song was an okay start to what hopefully will be the "masterpiece" they promised. I was just milling around Coldplay.com and looked at the festival dates. If they were to release this album at any time they would need to be able to promote it, rehearse it, and prepare all the LP5 aesthetics for concerts, etc. But June-October are all festivals. And if we were to hear their album anytime in between then: 1. June 11-25th is a bit of a break between the Landgraaf concert and Pilton festivals. But this seems to early as they might want to change a few things before finally releasing it. 2. July 10-29th is a break between the Punchestown and the Naeba Ski Resort concert. Still seems a bit early but is probably enough time to refine the album one last time. 3. Aug. 5- Sept. 16 is quite a layoff from festivals and is pretty likely to be the time IF they feel satisfied with the album and feel like it could come out earlier than they might have planned. But still there still is one festival in Austin after they release it then. 4. Sept. 16- Oct. 1 is 15 days off and is very close to the autumn as told by the representative of parlophone. Still it seems a little too short on time to prepare everything. 5. After October 8th. As of now the festivals only run till the eight of October, and as in the previous possibility, it is the autumn, and if it doesn't change, the largest chance of releasing the album lies just after the Johannesburg concert. Edit: I was just thinking, those three concerts in October are not festivals, as they are the only event, and since it is close to the possible release date they might also play a few songs there as a preview in concert. The album will probably be dropped soon after. P.S. I wonder if anyone already checked this out, don't want to be repetitive.
  22. At first listen, I really disliked the beginning pop-ish sample. It really ticked me off from what I thought the song would be like. Hopefully the album isn't too far into pop crap that is popular these days. They need to make music for the music, not popularity. It's called "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" and they said they were going for a more stripped-down, acoustic album. But it definitely is not that at all. It's more of a summer anthem dance-pop song. I was a bit disappointed but I think it's a grower. Just another bit, I'm really used to Coldplay songs having that beautiful ending to every song. Even Christmas Lights had a touching ending to that song. Lovers in Japan had an epic ending with the guitar back to the main beat/melody. But this song just doesn't hit the right place. The drum ending is obviously Will's idea, and I know it's something new for them to try, but it didn't make me think, "wow that song was epic." So I gave it a 7. It might be 7-8 after a few more listens. I seriously hope this song is like the Violet Hill of this album, and there will be some underrated songs such as "Cemeteries of London", "Death and All His Friends", "Strawberry Swing", and "Lovers in Japan".
  23. I woke up at 3:00 AM especially for this single. That's how much I love Coldlplay. Can't wait!
