WoooHooo! Glad I found this thread. I love RHCP *almost* as much as I love Coldplay. I think most of us have already listened, but you can stream their album for free on iTunes right now. Definitely can tell Frusciante is gone, but there are some good songs on it! Love Josh's background vocals too I must say.

Yes! I listened to the whole RHCP CD last night on iTunes. Gotta admit, I was a little worried on the first few songs. Actually liked the second half a lot. Definitely doesn't have the Frusciante sound (that I adore), but I like Josh and I'm excited to see what he brings to the band and the live shows. Sorry for highjacking....ahem...yes, can't wait for Paradise!

I have a Chris question. This might not be the appropriate place to ask, but I'm going to give it a shot. Is Chris a vegetarian or not? I've read conflicting stuff. I know he was voted sexiest vegetarian in 2005, but there is also the interview where he talks about setting the fire alarm off every time he cooks fish and peas for his family. Also Gwyneth talks a lot about what they eat in her cookbook, and it definitely includes meat. I don't care one way or the other..just being nosey!

They're soooo skinny. ha ha I think all the guys have gotten better looking with age. Chris and Guy definitely look better with a little meat on their bones.

Rainplay, are you a RHCP fan too? Coldplay is my favorite, but RHCP is a close #2 for me. I'm shocked the song hasn't been leaked at all. I'd be happy with a 30 second snippet!!

I'm confused on why people think they would put the ETIAW EP songs on MX? What's the purpose of releasing an EP, if not to release some extra songs that don't fit on the record?

The media is strange. They build you up as the next best thing, and then once you reach success they seem to want to tear you down. I think a lot of it is also jealousy. She's rich, skinny, beautiful, talented, and married to the frontman of the greatest band in the world (yes, Chris I said it!)

Yeah, don't get me wrong...I love that they aren't media whores. I totally respect that decision and think it's healthy for them and their kids.

I understand why they do it. I do however, find it unfortunate they can't even hang out on the beach together with their kids. At that point, I would say screw it, I'm not going to let these losers ruin my life. I don't know much about The Hamptons, but hopefully they have enough privacy there that they can hang as a family and not have to avoid the stalkarazzi.
