  1. Everyone grab your helmets and buckle up, we're going down
  2. GUY'S BASSLINE IS EVERYTHING
  3. Stay strong! We're so close :P
  4. Ah, well good enough lol. I'm tired of all the short songs we've been getting for the past two albums. We haven't had a 5-minute-long song since, what, X&Y? Viva had a couple, but only because they had some hidden tracks.
  5. Gah, it's been made private :dozey: But someone said it's six minutes long? Holy crap if that's the case I already love it :dazzled: A synopsis would be lovely :awesome:
  6. Turns out they just play 6 hits and then do a cover of an Ed Sheeran song
  7. Oh-ho-HO snap, you're right! My hype levels just went up 200%
  8. Same with Viva la Vida. Bugs the heck out of me. But the point being we don't really know what else to call it at this point. It's just easier to assign it a readily recognizable, consistent name and be done with it. It could wind up being called something like "Sunshine" or "Memories"
  9. Difficult to say. It sounds like it might be part of Amazing Day, but it could easily be the intro to another song as well. As someone above me said, it sounds a bit like Up In Flames as well. For all that we've been told this album will be upbeat, so far all the "new" songs we've heard have been anything but--even if they don't wind up as AHFoD songs
  10. Agreed also. I know we're all itching to hear something from AHFoD, but unless this song is intended to be the lead single and the music video was shot for the blockbuster second single that usually drops along with the album, I don't think this is an AHFoD song. Plus, just from the snippets we've heard, this song doesn't really sound like a lead single. Of course, we also have to take into account that the guys knew it would be recorded by someone when they played it, whether during a soundcheck or the actual concert. I doubt they would want our first glimpse of AHFoD to be from a less-than-perfect cellphone recording, but you never know. I think our options for this song are, in the order of most to least likely: 1. A one-off single for GCF only, possibly intended to be released and proceeds going toward the program (frankly, I'm surprised Coldplay hasn't done this yet since Chris has been involved with GC for a long time now) 2. An old Ghost Stories song that didn't make the cut for whatever reason 3. A new AHFoD song, single or deep-cut song 4. A b-side from either option 1 or 3 (I put this as the least likely because Coldplay rarely play b-sides live or actually release b-sides at all anymore for that matter  )
  11. The "ohh ohh ohhs" at the end remind me a bit of U2's "With or Without You"
  12. Totally making this my tagline
