  1. How do you know this? Could you give us a source?
  2. I think it's chocolate shavings :wacky:
  3. So in other words . . . they're rebelling against the media and higher society in general?:wink3: I always love songs/albums/books/movies that carry a 'well, what have we got to lose' vibe . . . hopefully LP5 will show some of that!
  4. This. I Ran Away, Animals, I Bloom Blaum, One I Love, Murder = In fact, the only b-sides I care about that aren't from the A Rush Of Blood era are Help Is 'Round The Corner, Gravity, and A Spell A Rebel Yell
  5. Next week needs to be here :shifty: I things are going to pick up speed pretty quickly after this week, first we have the video, then Glasto, then the June 27 release . . . and maybe some LP5 news not too long after? :wink3: All I know is that the rest of the summer is going to be awesome!
  6. I REALLY want a shirt that say this! :wacky:
  7. Ohgeeze, in all this excitement I completely forgot about Glastonbury! :freak:
  8. It's all good, I think we just misunderstood each other :P Yeah, I can't wait for June 27th either! As long as I get Major Minus and maybe another new song I'll be satisfied for a while
  9. Well said! I agree with everything except the bit about the theme for LP5, which I think may be more along the lines of Viva--rebelling and such (especially since Chris mentioned that they drew inspiration from the White Rose Movement). But I do like your interpretation too--maybe we're both partially right?
  10. :uhoh: I hope not! That would just be cruel and unusual punishment to make us wait to hear about the additional tracks and then come out with live versions and remixes! Just had a thought, actually . . . Why would the guys wait to give us the names of the additional tracks if they just turn out to be remixes/live versions? Why not just give us the titles outright, if that's the case?
  11. Whoa, calm down there, man! :) I'm sorry that I offended you; that wasn't my intention at all! I only meant that, seeing as you don't 'waster your time saying sh@@@in' things you don't believe' that you must be fairly excited to finally see some news about LP5--excited enough to post about it. I make respect my first priority on this forum--and everywhere else, if I can help it--and I wasn't meaning to put you down or tease you, or say that people who have 10,000 posts are better than you. Again, I apologize :)
  12. lol, unorthodox title and epic music? Sounds like Coldplay to me! :awesome:
  13. ^ Okay, thank you :nice:
  14. Now that you say that . . . where did we hear that bit of info?
  15. Oops, I should have phrased that better. Sorry. I meant that it's more likely for Major Minus to appear either on an EP or on LP5 as an a-side than it is to be demoted to a b-side on either.
  16. He did? The only time I remember him mentioning the songs was in a Roadie blog--he was listening to David Rossi put some strings on a song and he said 'Maybe this album won't be so bad after all'
  17. I wouldn't pre-order it anyway without seeing what the extra tracks were first. If it's just a live/remixed version of ETiaW then I'm buying Major Minus and that's it :P
  18. Hang on, now! Major Minus isn't confirmed to be a b-side--it may turn out to be an additional track released on an EP or whatever it is that we're getting on the 27th. There's still a good chance that it will appear as an a-side on LP5 ;)
  19. Yeah, 42 was interesting :laugh4:
  20. ^ Ah, okay. Jonny's guitar is awesome, but I agree it could be toned down a bit to bring out the rest of the instruments
  21. MX/Hurts Like Heaven - In all likelihood, yes. We have the walking man graphics and I think it's a great opener Charlie Brown - Yes. Seems to be a big hit, and I think it could get up there with Viva and Yellow as crowd-pleasers Major Minus - I'm fairly certain about this one. It's all over the guys' clothing and instruments--it's getting an awful lot of attention if it gets bumped down to a b-side Us Against The World - In all honesty, I like this one the least out of the new songs. It's a good song, but I think it may be demoted to a b-side Princess Of China - Here's the mysterious one. I like it, based off the low-quality videos we've got, and I think it sounds like a spin-off of Viva. If they play it at Glasto, then I'd say it's on LP5. If not, then perhaps a b-side or hidden track Every Teardrop is a Waterfall - I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be on the album at this point in time
