  1. I would go crazy if that was the actual album artwork (and there was a double album) :dead: I love it!
  2. ^ It's something to pass the time while we wait for the actual album artwork/title/tracklisting :P
  3. I hope they use those spiral things as the cover! It would be so cool. Maybe they could have them really faint in the background and superimpose the walking man over it? :wacky:
  4. So if I live in the US can I watch Glasto on BBC 2 without going through those steps?
  5. ^ :uhoh: I think I would've liked it more if Chris had used a piano instead of an organ (and added that little line of notes that he sometimes plays after live performances), but meh. I still love it :P
  6. That's true :) Don't pay any attention to my ramblings, I'm just extremely nervous and want this album to be awesome :awesome:
  7. Does anyone know if Glasto will be streamed online? I know it will air on cable TV in the US but we have a lack of cable in our house :P Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  8. ^^ Whoa . . . . :stunned: EDIT: Might as well list my woeful collection of CDs :laugh4:: Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends X&Y A Rush Of Blood To The Head Live 2003 CD/DVD Parachutes Viva CD/DVD (this pack came with the actual Viva CD and a DVD of Viva-era music videos)
  9. As of now, I'm pretty confident that LP5 will be good--based on this handful of songs that we've heard. But I'm wondering what will happen if all/most of these songs turn out to be b-sides or even scratched altogether. If that happens, then most of us will assume that Coldplay have better songs hidden up their sleeves . . . but what if they misjudge and these songs are actually better? A good example would be A Whisper vs I Ran Away---a bunch of people prefer IRA over A Whisper, yet the latter still made it onto A Rush Of Blood (just for the record, I like both songs and don't really care whether one made it on the album and the other didn't) Not trying to scare anyone or question the judgement of the guys, but just a thought I wanted to put out there (and yes, I'm confident that Coldplay knows what they're doing and won't disappoint :P )
  10. ^ In the UK it is  But I'm willing to bet that we'll be able to watch it via JustinTV or something
  11. Oops, forgot Things I Don't Understand :P Proof is alright, HYStW isn't all that bad, I really don't like Pour Me for some reason :/ Sleeping Sun is fine, and the live versions of DWNC aren't bad either  But they still aren't among my favorites :D
  12. The 'under cover of dark' bit definitely makes more sense Okay, so I've gone through and compiled the lyrics that I think make sense in this context: ~ Written in graffiti on a bridge in a park 'Do you ever get the feeling that you’re missing the mark?' It's so cold, it's so cold It's so cold, it's so cold Written up in marker on a factory sign 'I struggle with the feeling that my life isn’t mine' It's so cold, it's so cold It's so cold, it's so cold See the arrow that they shot trying to tear us apart Fire from the belly and a beat from the heart Still I won’t let go Still I won’t let go Ooooh Oooh oooh Hey! 'Cause you do Oh you use your heart as a weapon And it hurts like heaven Streets and cars and payments of saints And now the streets are rising and a rebel sings "Don’t let ‘em take control No we won’t let ‘em take control" Yes, I feel a little bit nervous Yes, I feel nervous and I can’t relax They’re coming out to get us They’re coming ‘round when they don’t know the facts Oh on a concrete canvas under cover of dark Concrete canvas I’ll go making my mark I’ll know that spray can soul Oh I’ll be down with spray and soul Ooooh Oooh oooh ooh Oh ooooooh Ooooh ooooh Hey! Yes you use your heart as a weapon And it hurts like heaven Oh ooh oooh Oh ooh oooh ooh It’s true When you use your heart as a weapon It hurts like heaven ~ Anything that looks like it needs changed?
  13. I agree with what everyone else has said in regards to auto-tuning. As for the 'using part of another song' it's actually called sampling and the guys have done it a couple of times before: Talk --- the riff you hear at the beginning was sampled from Kraftwerk's 'Computer Love' Life In Technicolor / The Escapist --- The background layering was taken from John Hopkin's 'Light Through The Veins' So sampling from other songs isn't necessarily a bad thing :)
  14. ^ New songs are always my favorite for about a week and then the order is restored :P Right now . . . . Gravity
  15. ^ I have that Live 2003 CD, but I got it in a package with the DVD also  I watch it weekly :P
  16. Same here, except Poor high school student = no cable  I always rely on JustinTV, but I'm hoping there will be other links that pop up  EDIT: Woo! 1,000th post
  17. 5 more days, guys!! *hopes for Princess Of China*
  18. *cough*June27*cough*
