  1. CB sounded so amazing. I was going wild in front of my pc
  2. I bet LP7 will be a loop of this John Hopkins song :p
  3. This intro song is so awesome.
  4. OMG I'm feeling like I'm in there as well. Getting excited :D (Love those ambient background sounds btw)
  5. I was hoping there was video but it's only audio... They made it sound they would stream video as well :(
  6. Is there anything on yet? I don't hear anything ;O Edit: nevermind, I'm hearing people now :p
  7. And you're always ON my head, always on myyyyyyyy head, you're always on my head :laugh3: Sorry couldn't resist :P
  8. Same here! I would kill to hear something else than Fix You from X&Y or AROBTTH or Parachutes. I did hear Trouble at Pinkpop Festival in 2011(only live performance of the song :D)
  9. :( Been bothering me too..... but hell, we should be happy we were one of the lucky ones who did get to see them :) Edit: well actually, we did get the (sort of) premiere of ASFOS :D
  10. It's done already isn't it? Anything on the setlist? I read The Scientist and Til Kingdom come somewhere... :D
  11. I think they can use it. But they're starting to over-use it. If you look at the songs they play live, out of the 15 played songs (Last full concert) There are only 4 songs without backing tracks; Clocks, GPASUYF, Green Eyes and Fix You (But I'm not completely sure if all the vocals are live during the last part). And especially their most recent songs have huge amounts of backing tracks. For songs like Viva I completely understand, otherwise they need to have an entire orchestraon stage. But for songs like Magic, AIMH, AA, CB and ASFOS it's really not necessary I think. ( ASFOS for instance, Chris could easily play the beginning live on piano and then switch to acoustic guitar for the middle part and just then play the backing track piano). Same goes for all those clapping and tambourine sounds. I would like to just hear Will play them and nothing else. [video=vimeo;98320625]http://vimeo.com/98320625 What bothers me is that in this performance (and a lot of others as well) you can cleary see and hear what's a backing track and what they're playing live. For instance, in the studio version of ASFOS Guy doesn't play his bassline all the way through the middle. Live he usually does. Guy IS playing the whole part but you don't hear it (So his bass isn't even turned on!?) It's real a shame if you ask me. I think a lot of songs just don't need that many backing tracks... (The piano in Magic? Why couldn't Chris just sit and play it live while Jonny plays guitar?)
  12. Wow this sounds really promising. Two of my favourite bands collaborating with Avicii :)
  13. Is it too much to ask for this setlist? :p Always In My Head Yellow God Put A Smile Upon Your Face Paradise Charlie Brown Magic Ink Green Eyes True Love Clocks Don't Panic Lovers In Japan Viva La Vida Strawberry Swing Fix You Politik O (Fly On) Midnight Death And All His Friends Talk The Scientist A Rush Of Blood To The Head/Amsterdam A Sky Full Of Stars C'mon guys! This should really be doable ;)
  14. Yes thats true. There's a tiny bit if backing track and vocals on Atlas but not that much as True love/Asfos/viva. I think they could easily do without that much backing tracks... Verstuurd vanaf mijn GT-I9195 met Tapatalk
  15. Haha I'm exactly the same! :P
  16. It's been over a week since Ghost Stories was released, so what are, up to now, your most played songs? Mine are, in order from most to least (including the songs from the deluxe version): 1. Ink (21) 2. True Love (21) 3. ASFOS (18) 4. All Your Friends (17) 5. O (Fly On) (16) 6. Ghost Story (15) 7. Always In My Head (12) 8. Another's Arms (9) 9. Magic (8) 10. O (Reprise) (6) 11. Midnight (5) 12. Oceans (4) I don't count the plays before album release, then it would be a lot more haha :p And I think Magic and Midnight would also have a lot more plays than this.
  17. I'm really worried that the next album will be even more ''poppy'' than MX. I had high hopes for GS but GS still contain a lot of poppy elements. And given Chris' love for modern pop/rap artists. I'm a bit worried. Of course it's entirely up to them to decide what they want. If they like it they should do it. But I would rather see a more raw/back to basic approach. I wouldn't mind an entire album with songs like All Your Friends, Ghost Story and O (Which are, in my opinion, the best of this era). The thing bothering me is the huge amount of backing tracks and non-live instruments being played live. Some songs are even more ''pre-recorded'' live than played live. I just hope that with the next album this won't be necessary anymore. Think of songs like Yellow, GPASUYF. These are 100% live and raw. I love that.
  18. I'm thinking it would be something like this: 1. Atlas 2. Clocks 3. Charlie Brown 4. Magic 5. The Scientist (O Intro) 6. Always In My Head 7. Ink 8. True Love 9. Viva La Vida 10. Paradise 11. A Rush Of Blood To The Head 12. Oceans 13. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face 14. Don't Panic 15. Life Is For Living 16. Midnight 17. A Sky Full Of Stars 18. O (Outro) But these songs are the ones I would really love to see them perform: Strawberry Swing, DAAHF, Spies, AROBTTH, Amsterdam, Talk, What If, Swallowed In The Sea, LITii, ahh well, one can dream...
  19. Awesome live recording (not by me haha) : [video=youtube;ofzKiWaKRQ8]
