I don't think it influences much on Coldplay's music, they will sell millions even if they release an folk instrumental eletronic album.

I don't know, it feels that after 20 years the bands start running out of ideas, or just repeat themselves. Of course I know Coldplay can be different but... Ok, I don't have good arguments.

I remember the song Lies played a bit around here, and it's quite nice, never really listened to much of their music.

I'm not unhappy with their music, I still love this band.... and do you think I should leave just because I'm sharing my point of view? I love their music but I don't like everything they do. And I don't really like Radiohead, so no way I'll leave this place so soon...

That's where I wanted to get! When they used to say they had to disappear between albums because of the exposure I agreed because If you are ALL the time in the media people will get sick of you. And they have never been so much on the media as on the last year, they did a 5 months festival tour that was broadcasted around the world, after that they released an album with a live broadcast on the internet, they played on the X factor, the Brit awards, the Grammy, announced a Live dvd of a show everyone has alredy seen on TV and YouTube and a "comic series" about an album everyone has alredy heard. And all this with only 12 new songs, they did all this shit only to release 12 songs!!!!!!!!!!!! I want new things, not just them selling the same things over and over again (remember they made you buy ETIAW and Major Minus twice?)... yeah, I guess that's it.

A lot of people here hated ETIAW and Paradise, but I loved it, loads hated the CB video(which I don't understand why) but I loved it, a lot also hated PoC's video but I enjoyed some of the visuals... But this shit is way too much, and this is not trying new things as you said, this is just a more polite way of selling you the coldplay toothbrush, right now I just want this era to get to an end, they seriously need a break from the media.

I didn't say they weren't allowed, I just said I didn't like it :lol: come on they are Coldplay they can virtually do anything. Reading my previous post now it seems a bit rude, sorry if anyone got offended...

It's not the end of the world, but the fact is that it's not really good and it's shamelessly promoting an stupid idea wich is just way to get even more money from fans. It won't change my mind about the album, I do really like it, but I'll just ignore it.

8/10 Heard their album a couple of months ago and loved it, I should take a listen again, so.... fun.

So I wacthed again and for me it works for the song, just like ETIAW, not perfect but fits well. In my opinion Charlie Brown is the only video from Mylo Xyloto that managed to fit with the lyrics and the spirit of the song. The only thing that really bothers me on it is that it's just an ad to a comic and not a music video.

Just go and make an account, there's no problem in that.
